So for the food, love shrimp tostadas, Never had them before but very flavorful bites and appreciate they used jumbo shrimp and cooked them just right so them plump and juicy. For the Bouillabaisse which I made and had before, honestly it was perfect, all seafood was cooked perfectly, broth was flavorful and pretty generous on the portion. Only thing I was more shrimp, bread and broth. Otherwise definitely glad I got try here. Hard to figure out when up then since there hours and when open neon sign light up differ. Best bet is to get here after 1pm.

We stumbled on the Inn at the Ridge through some Google searching. We only spent two nights, Friday and Saturday, so we were treated to Sal's weekend cooking. Easily among the best food at a B&B that we've ever had. When I booked, I didn't realize that I had booked the one room with a disconnected bathroom. Yes, it's private, but downstairs. Since the Inn wasn't completely full, they offered to relocate us to another open room, we didn't ask, they just suggested it. The house is old, like real old, so expect some quirks like wide creaky floors etc. The beds were quiet though, which was the important thing. Each room is uniquely decorated. The Inn is a nice distance from busy areas but not so far as to be a hardship. It's extremely close to Angry Orchard's Innovation cider mill, a state park with great trails, and even a little college town. I could probably go on, but Yelp's review editor is giving me issues. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Our room was very comfortable with a king-sized bed. The location was perfect - close to Minnewaska state park, as well as several nearby towns and a few good restaurants. The breakfasts were the highlight of the experience! One of the hosts is a CIA-trained chef and he made fabulous food for us - chocolate-stuffed french toast, a great frittata, and more. They serve breakfast at a communal table, which is nice for getting to talk to the other guests there. We would definitely stay here again.

The building is beautiful on the outside and spacious on the inside, but it does feel a bit dated or perhaps just leans more on the rustic side. I think some brightness would really cheer the whole space up! As for the wines, my favorites by far are the famous apple wine and spiced apple wine!! They are so delicious and perfect for Fall in the Hudson Valley. The rest of the wines weren't as memorable for me - I found some of them to be either too sweet or too sour. I did enjoy the samples of sangrias they had though!

Pretty large menu and definitely took a minute to decide on what to get. Got double decker sandwich, it was very delicious, good portion of turkey and not burnt bacon, with a fair amount of veggies. Although when asked if wanted more mayo for sandwiches I probably should taken it. The fries were decent, I mean was expecting large size fries then shoestring types but eh. Garlic bread was very good, appreciate it not being too strong and bread being flatten and toasted, if had marinara sauce to dip it would be perfect. A great meal and service. I give credit to keeping diner really clean there.

As for food, I loved the garlic bread, never had with tomato sauce and raw minced garlic on top. It was good and more mellow in punch compared to garlic butter. Chicken soup was good, the noodles were very al Dante, but way more celery and carrots than chicken. Jamaican beef patty was good, nothing dissimilar to what you get elsewhere. The zuppa di pecse , the penne I got with was good, very al Dante. Plenty of mussels and clam, all cooked great, but man only like three shrimp which was a letdown. But credit to them they butterflied shrimp and cooked so it was tender but not rubbery. The sauce was flavorful but wish it could thicken since it was watery.
