Everything you could want in a restaurant: kind and attentive waitstaff, lovely ambiance, fantastic food (steak tacos, carnitas tacos, Skirt Steak Entrée) , and Chorizo Quesadilla. We loved everything about this place. We'll definitely come back! Oh, just a tip: they don't have a proper children's menu, so they'll give you the lunch menu, but just make sure to be explicit w/ your order if your children are picky eaters. Mine didn't like all the cilantro on his carnitas tacos and my other didn't care for the lettuce and tomato on her quesadilla.

Great spot, family owned and run, food is solid, priced well and good variety on the menu. Great surprise!

This is a hidden gem in little Pine Bush. We are gluten-free and there are many choices. We've been here five times and it is always delicious. The plating is beautiful; the flavors are like a party in your mouth. The chicken and mole is the best chicken I've ever had. Meat is tender and falling off of the bone. My husband loves the vegetable risotto and gets it every time. If you come before 4:00pm, get the fish tacos from the lunch menu even the rice and beans have a lot of flavor. Cocktails are made with care and attention to detail. If you like coconut and rum, get the Something Nutty cocktail--delightful. After a day touring Watchtower Farms, come here. You won't be disappointed.

Very friendly service. Able to accommodate our group of 10. Cozy interior. Burger and fish was good.

I'll start off by saying we found this little gem through Yelp. I have been excited to try it due to the high reviews. We live thirty miles from this restaurant. Let me tell you it was worth every mile. We came here for a late lunch/early dinner type situation on a Saturday after doing some shopping in a nearby city. It's tucked away in a little corner of a side parking lot off main street. Parking was not an issue, however they do share the lot with other businesses. Street parking is also available. When we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. We were able to choose our own table which was nice. We were the only patrons there at around 4pm. Menus were immediately provided. We ordered our drinks. My partner had a sangria and I had a beer. The lighting was a little dim and the building looks like it has been there for a long time and has been repurposed over the years. It gave me old vibes like when we visited New Orleans. The decor was pretty plain, but we loved the swing era music playing. When our drinks arrived we ordered our appetizers and main course. My partner had the papas (potato) tacos to start and the chorizo quesadilla for entree. I ordered the curry crab cake/beignet to start and a chorizo burrito for entree. The menu selection is very interesting. You can choose between Mexican, American, or French cuisine. Our appetizers came out timely. They were both executed to perfection. My crab cake beignet was perfectly cooked. Crisp outer crust with a soft perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned crabby center. The filling was full of crab and was not bready. I believe I said it was the best crabcake/beignet I ever had. The papas tacos were equally delicious. The tacos were crispy which complimented the fillings. We cleared the plates. Then our entrees arrived a short time later. No complaints here either. It's hard to screw up a quesadilla and a burrito, however, they executed these dishes to perfection as well. The ratios of the ingredients were ideally prepared and were cooked precisely. We cleared the plates. We opted for dessert. I wanted flan which they sadly did not have at this outing. So we ordered a Churro with vanilla ice cream. The churro was a little dense for my liking (not as crispy as I expected) however when paired with the ice cream, coffee, and tea it was still very enjoyable. All the while the staff were patient, polite, responsive, and attentive. We were so pleased we left the 30% tip. needless to say they exceeded my already high expectations. I recommend this place, we are already planning a Mother's Day trip.

What a spot in an unexpected place! We went on a Saturday night, and there were plenty of tables open (although I had also made a reservation via FB Messenger). We started with cocktails, which were quite affordable! I loved the mango margarita - so fruity and delicious. The menu is so interesting - we wanted to try everything! First, they brought out warm baguette with butter. The perfect start to our French-Mexican meal! Then we enjoyed the goat cheese tartlets app which had caramelized onions and bits of bacon. YUM! For entrees, we got the skirt steak with caramelized onions, potatoes, and guacamole as well as the moules du Mexique, mussels with chorizo and jalapeños. Both of the dishes were unique and delish. And the portions were great - we had leftovers for dinner the next day! The service was quick and attentive, and overall we left with a great feeling. It was the best meal we had while staying in Pine Bush. Un *beso* para Bistro du Mexique!

Cute little restaurant. This is my third time there and though underwhelming the first two times I'm glad I tried again . The isla azul drink was beautiful and delicious , the skirt steak was very good , cooked well . French onion soup was ok but I get French onion soup anywhere that has it so I'm very picky with that . Will go back if I see some good specials . Worth a try

The dining is traditional and we loved it. The style is European inside and you feel transported to a foreign time and place. Soaring ceilings with old world timbers and large baronial fireplaces are a perfect setting for the feast to come. We are ice water people when we dine out so I can't comment on their drinks but they have a top reputation for offering a wine cellar that is famously stocked full of rare bottles. And available for a special event. We started with a homemade tomato soup and it was everything. Expect local and the most flavorful vegetables here. Real cream on top. Then we ate the most wonderful Wiener Schnitzel ( the veal was pure white) again with perfectly steamed local cauliflower, carrots and peas. The brown sauce was well made and perfectly smooth and complex with a delicious stock underpinning the finished product. For desert we had a very traditional Swiss chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream sundae. It was simply wonderful. Such a good choice for a special meal. Service I should mention was impeccable and attentive. We noticed several large family tables but the dining room is laid out so there seem to be no bad tables as had been mentioned on another review. The sedate calm of the restaurant is a setting for conversation and appreciation of the unusually divine cuisine available here.

The menu was loaded with so many great items...I will need to go back for more. We were a party of 3 and the whole restaurant was vibing as the World Cup was on the big screen TVs in the background. There are several big screen TVs around the restaurant and it was cool we could keep on top of the score. The mussels and the scrumptious broth it came with was very good and just a bit spicy. I had the chicken fricassee as my entree and my friends also had the duck special, which they loved. We also had a very nice fruit sorbet that looked and tasted very impressive. There's also a great view outside on the veranda of a beautiful lake. Glad we stayed inside that night. Not only was it super hot outside but it poured during dinner and we stayed nice and dry. Maybe next time. I'd high recommend La Cigogne if you're looking for a great dining experience in Narrowsburg.

Formerly located in Brooklyn, Damien brought the concept to Narrowsburg a couple of years ago. I've eaten here several times. Located in the basement level of 90 Main St in Narrowsburg, it arguably has some of the best views of the Big Eddy and Delaware River of any spot in Narrowsburg. When the weather is nice, an outdoor deck offers commanding views. Inside, the decor is a bit industrial with a nod to the Alsacian mountains. The space is all hard surfaces, primarily concrete, making it a very bright room from a sound standpoint. For this meal we sat that the bar by choice. Service was reasonably prompt and friendly. No specials were mentioned, and no substitutions or menu changes. I ordered the Pork schnitzel, my dining companion one of the spaetzle dishes. We started with tuna tartare. The tuna came out in a nice presentation which included an extra heavy "schmear" of avocado on top. The dish overall was so incredibly oversalted that it bordered on being unpleasant. The house made tortilla chips which were light and delicate, but again, so over salted they were bordering on inedible. The schnitzel came out and had been pounded out absolutely paper thin, and the breading was very dark brown. The side salad was mixed field greens instead of the stated arugula on the menu (no mention of a substitution). The Schnitzel was overcooked and, frankly, as dry as cardboard. Seemed like they are using a smaller pork portion and pounding it super thin to make it fit the plate to their spec. It also wasn't seasoned. At all. My dining companion's spaetzle was over cooked and mushy - almost disintegrating in the mouth. It's unfortunate because that dish looked incredibly promising on the menu. We added the asparagus appetizer (an odd appetizer offering, and not offered as a side dish), and it was good, cooked well, but again no seasoning. I added the leek mashed potatoes as my side. Again the theme of little to no seasoning raised it's head. The potatoes were cooked well, and the leek came through quite delicately, so it's unfortunate the kitchen didn't follow through. Overall - a lovely setting with fantastic views, and a great place for a glass of wine or a cocktail watching the sun set over the Delaware River. As a dinner destination, our latest experience is unfortunately consistent with past visits - a menu that promises great, somewhat simple dishes that fall flat on execution.

The waiter was attentive, and addressed any of our questions about the menu, even hunting down the bottle of pinot noir we ordered. We opted to start off our night by splitting a half-dozen oysters which came with their in-house hot sauce, and an order of pouple, which was cooked to perfection. For our entrees we selected the red wine braised lamb shank and the dry aged prime NY steak. Since sides for both entrees were not mentioned on the menu, we also ordered sides - wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts and crispy smoked peewee potatoes. Overall the food was excellent and I'm still dreaming about the mushrooms. If we lived locally, would we go back, maybe but overall we had a great experience.
