So I want to tell about my experience with the frame market. I've heard about this place through the internet and wanted to give them a shot so here I am on yelp writing about it. I have been wanting to frame this cross stitch that took me forever to make because of how large it came out to be. So at first I wasn't sure how or where I would go to get this project on its way. Then I researched the net and came across the frame market in Vienna va. I live in Woodbridge area but didn't mind traveling to them since I heard they been in business for a long time and family owned . When I walked in the gentlemen was very kind to me and helped me right away with making room on his table to roll it out. I asked him what his thoughts were and he came up with 2 solutions . First one was to mat glass and mount the fabric or second option was he would stretch this fabric onto wood then just put a frame over it . I said give me the best price and solution to do this product and after I said that he told me the second option would be best and look the best! He definitely was right and I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome of their work! I highly recommend to anyone . Thank you guys read more

My experience working with Calvin was fantastic from start to finish! He was able to create a custom piece for my best friends 1st wedding anniversary using all her wedding stationary I kept. Calvin took the time to help me find the perfect frame and backing all within my budget! He was super patient and listened to ALL of my ideas and answered all of my questions. The entire experience was really pleasant! I actually relocated to Florida during the whole project and it was still super easy corresponding with him. He finished the piece a week early and with no hesitation offered to hand deliver it which was the biggest blessing since I just moved away from the Northern VA area. The surprise worked out perfectly! She loves it and it just so happens to fit perfectly in her living room with the rest of her professionally framed wedding photos! I had one of the best Experience here at the Frame Market with Victor. He took his time with me and explored all my options to frame my Masters Degree. I have been in frame shops before and didnt have the service and qaulity that i had here. The ending result of the framing for my Degree was more then i anticipated. They actually upgraded my glass to whats called museum glass that doesnt show much reflection if any. The framer Kalvin reached out to me and noted he would upgrade me for no ectra charge which i really appreciated. I recently moved to the area and my Co-worker told me about a cute little frame shop around the corner from my place, so I naturally had to drop in for a visit! The gentleman really took his time patiently helping me pick out the most beautiful combination for the art I had picked up while travelling to Italy last year. So glad I waited for this particular shop to finalize the framing! When I went to pick up my order, I fell in love with the artwork all over again: totally amazed by the fantastic combination and beautiful frames while being very reasonably priced! I just had a great experience at this frame shop during my visit getting a couple of old baseball cards framed. I've had these as collectibles for many years now and wanted them behind glass and a frame around them to preserve. The gentlemen there helped me with the frames plus mats and glass he thought would look good with my cards and boy was he right! When I came back to pick them up I couldn't believe how rich they looked when all framed and having non reflective type glass on them to show true colors! Awesome job guys. read more

I just had a painting framed by Theframemarket and they did a lovely job! It was rolled up for a while since I brought it back from a vacation to Peru and I needed it stretched first as I was told by the framer and then put into a frame of choice . The guy helped me and suggested a frame that the painting sits into which he said is Called a floater frame. This must be new looks because I never seen it but Wow it looks gorgeous with the spacing he used to show the edges of my painting. Thank you guys! read more

I ordered a world map online as a Christmas gift for a friend that loves to travel a lot. I went to Michaels but they actually turned me down saying they couldn't frame something that large and, especially, not in time for holidays. So I then searched online for another frame shop close by and found theframemarket. For starters when I walked in I instantly noticed how cozy and welcomed I felt. The prices are reasonable and the finished project is phenomenal. I have been to a few framing shops but this beats most. Their framing ideas and taste are unique, original, and quite tasteful. I would have never have thought of doing a double glass frame, which made my scarf pop and come out beautifully. I first learned about The frame market through another friend of mine who recommended me to them to frame some of my oil paintings I bought while in Paris. I traveled there to have a portrait framed for my niece and boy did they do great job designing it from A-Z. Today I just received my art work back all framed and matted. It looks totally different than when it was unframed. Gorgeously done with a red Chinese silk matting and a gold insert inside the mat ( I believe they called this "fillet"). The frame market Vienna va I had a great experience at this frame shop with framing my newborn photos of my son! They gentleman was very patient with me in deciding which frames looked the best and also he matting that went around the photo before the frame.
