I found myself the week before the holidays with a print that needed framing, and no idea where I should have it done. I combed through Google Maps and Yelp looking for a well-reviewed and convenient framing shop. I came across P&C Art that was in an accessible location with ample parking. I took my print in on a Friday night near closing time, and met with Kei who worked with me to find the perfect frame and mat. Through the process, she made recommendations and presented me with multiple options. Kei mentioned that the normal turnaround time for a framing is approximately 2 weeks, but that they would do their best to get it done in time for my holiday travels. I left thoroughly satisfied with the level of customer service, and knew that the print was in good hands. The following week I received a call that my print was finished (earlier than expected), and that I could pick it up at my convenience. The framing was perfect (Kei's recommendations were spot on), and I was thrilled to be able to give this gift to my friend. Overall, I was incredibly satisfied with the level of service at this business. I've been a customer of P&C Art for over 40 years, beginning when Peter and Cecilia set up their first small shop in upper Georgetown. I've taken a large variety of artwork to be framed, from different sized posters to 100-year-old family portraits, and I've been delighted with their work throughout the decades. Since that time, I have used P&C for countless framing projects. I am a painter and so frequently need to have my work framed to show in galleries. P&C did an incredible job on my thesis prints. I was extremely nervous picking a framing place and went to several all around Washington, D.C. Last minute I had to change one of my prints and they said yes with the same deadline! Seriously incredible! They let me go back where they frame and they showed me my thesis prints. I started tearing up because all of my work from this past year was finally completed. I can't thank them enough for helping and guiding me on what the best framing is. I have been coming to P&C Art since 2008! They do such professional work. I have a number of artworks and personal trinkets I have had framed there and each piece is completed at the highest quality. A few times I've had really large art framed they even offered an affordable delivery option. He advised us on a beautiful frame, removed the old one (it was glued on) and installed the new one and included a heavy-duty mounting bracket with instructions.
