I found myself the week before the holidays with a print that needed framing, and no idea where I should have it done. I combed through Google Maps and Yelp looking for a well-reviewed and convenient framing shop. I came across P&C Art that was in an accessible location with ample parking. I took my print in on a Friday night near closing time, and met with Kei who worked with me to find the perfect frame and mat. Through the process, she made recommendations and presented me with multiple options. Kei mentioned that the normal turnaround time for a framing is approximately 2 weeks, but that they would do their best to get it done in time for my holiday travels. I left thoroughly satisfied with the level of customer service, and knew that the print was in good hands. The following week I received a call that my print was finished (earlier than expected), and that I could pick it up at my convenience. The framing was perfect (Kei's recommendations were spot on), and I was thrilled to be able to give this gift to my friend. Overall, I was incredibly satisfied with the level of service at this business. They offer competitive prices given the quality and craftsmanship in their work; I will for sure be a repeat customer. read more

I've been a customer of P&C Art for over 40 years, beginning when Peter and Cecilia set up their first small shop in upper Georgetown. I've taken a large variety of artwork to be framed, from different sized posters to 100-year-old family portraits, and I've been delighted with their work throughout the decades. They are knowledgeable, highly experienced, and use high quality materials. In addition, the employees have a fine feel for what will work with a particular piece of art and have given me excellent advice, bringing their expertise to bear in such a way that the artwork is set off to its best advantage. I have also found P&C Art to be extremely conscientious concerning their work and willing to put forth considerable effort to produce results that will satisfy each individual customer. There is no place else I would take my most valued artwork. P.S.: For reasons I don't understand, the review identified me as being in San Francisco, CA. Actually, I live in Arlington, VA, which is how I came to be a long-time customer of P&C Art. Marilyn M read more

I cannot say enough good things about P&C. I first learned of P&C 10 years ago from an interior designer who used this business for all of her clients' framing needs and spoke highly of their work. Since that time, I have used P&C for countless framing projects. I am a painter and so frequently need to have my work framed to show in galleries. I often have some idea of what I need for framing, but then also need the expert advice of the staff. Over the years, I have worked with Cecilia, Tony and Paul. All three have been enormously helpful to me with their creative and thoughtful ideas. Often other artists and patrons in the gallery have commented on the lovely and interesting framing of my pieces. P&C's work is beautiful and precise, the staff is kind and professional, and the prices are reasonable. I wholehearted recommend P&C for framing of all kinds. read more

i've used a few framers over the years (whether in northern virginia or elsewhere), usually for "one off" pieces -- but for the past 20 years, my absolute "go to" place has ALWAYS been P&C art -- paul, celia and tony (as well as kei and the rest of the staff) are simply the most helpful, creative, patient, expert, friendly and professional folks i've ever met or worked with, when it comes to having framing done -- i would trust any one of them with absolutely anything, i've never been disappointed in their work and i make weekend trips to northern virginia now, to bring them pieces -- i can look around any (ANY) room in my townhouse and, truly, 80 percent of what's on the walls in each room has been done by P&C art -- they've earned and deserve every 5-star rating they receive -- read more

P&C did an incredible job on my thesis prints. I was extremely nervous picking a framing place and went to several all around Washington, D.C. Last minute I had to change one of my prints and they said yes with the same deadline! Seriously incredible! They let me go back where they frame and they showed me my thesis prints. I started tearing up because all of my work from this past year was finally completed. I can't thank them enough for helping and guiding me on what the best framing is. They even helped me carry my prints to my car and gave me an extra cleaning bottle! I will forever go to them for my framing needs! Definitely recommend everyone in the Virginia and DC area to go to P&C art! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! read more

I've been dealing with P&C Art for many many years. As an avid collector of Doctor Seuss artwork I depend on P&C to help me find Dr. Seuss artwork and to perfectly frame each piece. They have never fell short of our expectations in the 10 plus years of dealing with them. Paul and Kei helped my wife and I locate our latest Dr "S" art pieces and delivered them well before the promised completion time. I look forward to our continued partnership and highly recommend their services to anyone that might come across this posting. Also, my military service was recognized when it came to final pricing on my framework. Thank you, read more

I have had numerous art pieces framed here from full paintings with frame and mat as well as dry mount framed photos and other display approaches. The staff are very customer focused, the prices are very fair and the speed is much faster than other framers I have used. They are wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them. I have used 5 other area framers and always come back to them. read more

I've had over 50 items framed by P&C and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I have mostly antique maps, prints, and original artwork that require excellent materials and P&C has a huge inventory to choose from. Tony, Paul, and the rest of the staff are so talented, that I sometimes let them choose the frame/mat/glass option for me and I've never been disappointed. read more

We brought Paul a very heavy tile painting/mosaic. He advised us on a beautiful frame, removed the old one (it was glued on) and installed the new one and included a heavy-duty mounting bracket with instructions. Excellent work and ready a week earlier than promised at at a reasonable price! read more
