I had always thought the store was more geared towards sports memorabilia but there truly is a little something for everyone here. My children were enamored by their large Pokemon collection, my husband loved all the vintage comic books, and for me there was a section with old records to browse through. We easily blew through an hour looking at everything in the store and let me tell you... my children are not patient people. By the end of our visit we had to pick up some items to help build up my pre-schooler's budding Pokemon collection and something for big sis too. Staff was friendly and store was very well organized.

I recently got a couple items to decorate for the seasons, as well as some frames and some pillows. My only grip would be the staff. It's often hard to find someone to assist you and even upfront at the checkout they ignore you because they expect you to do self-checkout. I had two large pillows and the bags at self-checkout are small and not one of the three staff members up front paid any attention to the customers checking out because they were way too busy, talking amongst themselves,. I had to go over to them and politely interrupt the chit chat to ask if I could get a larger bag to put my pillows in. While this isn't the end of the world the fact that there's three of them just standing there talking away in their little group and not paying any attention to the customers kind of really sucks lol.

I ultimately hired a different contractor that showed up.

Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. I give them my highest recommendation!
