Recently, I had a lithograph that loosened in its frame and took it back to the store for adjustment. We were rudely informed by the owner that all design services end sharply at three o'clock (we had arrived shortly after 3). There was no such warning on the website. We promptly found another frame shop in the area and started packing up to leave. There are MANY competitors, and who wants drama when they're just trying to get some framing done? Perhaps realizing his mistake, he came out and made a production about now agreeing to stay past four o'clock. I'm not in the business of trying to plead with a business owner to take my money. My fiancé and I came here to frame a large oil painting we purchased while in NY. I did some research online and came across TR framing so we thought we'd stop in to see what they had to offer. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and were helped right away. We brought the painting with us and told the owner what type of frame and color we were looking for, there's a large selection. Once we narrowed it down to two we asked the owner his opinion and he actually told us to go with the lower priced of the two options, which I appreciated. The initial quote came close to $380 and with our 40% off coupon I found online the total frame job came to $225. So to recap, the first framer quoted us at $900 and TR Framer was able to do the same job for $225. I'm not sure what these other yelpers are expecting framing to cost, but it's very clear that TR framers is extremely reasonable compared to other companies. Also they were upfront for the cost of every frame we chose, you just have to ask for the quote before making your decision.
