Birthday ice cream

Great food! I will say the server did neglect us a bit and we had to ask for extra water multiple times. There were a few times they would forget to bring us our sauces and ginger we had requested. it wasn't too busy, perhaps we were sat in an odd area where servers didn't come frequently. The portions are great! We had plenty of food and the tempera small order was very large! Great for sharing! The ambiance was nice & date friendly. It was our friend's birthday and they brought us this amazing dessert! overall great experience and clean restaurant. the restrooms are located in another area that are fairly clean

Flying Sumo was a great experience. Forgive me but I have been slacking on my reviews. Ok.. so greatness from beginning to end. Lots of things to choose from here. Staff great was warm and welcomed on that cold evening we left no food behind. It was delightful place enough to but the T-shirt to wear back in Tx!! If you in Park City it's definitely worth the try

I gave this place a try, but it missed the mark. The udon was overwhelmingly salty. Unagi roll and hamachi nigiri were just okay--not enough to make me want a second visit.

Food: 2/5 stars--The food was good, just basic. There was nothing special about it expect for the outrageous prices compared to other sushi places on Main Street in Park City. Service: 2/5 stars--Sadly, the hostess had a strange attitude. She asked us if we had reservations, and we said no. The restaurant was practically empty, and she "hmmmed" disapprovingly and asked us if we'd be okay sitting at the bars. The restaurant only had five groups eating.... Our water was refilled one time, and my boyfriend's water sat empty for about eight minutes. The person serving our food was kind and competent, which is why this section earned 2 stars instead of 1 star. Although the restaurant was practically empty, our two sushi rolls took about 25 minutes to arrive. Ambiance: 2/5-The inside is hip with loud music but casual dining. There was an obnoxious, high-pitched fan running the whole time. For the price and poor service, you can find better sushi places in this town.

Chicken fried rice & teriyaki chicken

Good quantity of food for the price. The best Gyoza in Park City hands down. The fried rice is decent. The teriyaki is good as well. The tempura veggie sushi roll we got was VERY dry. This was our second time trying this restaurant. The first time we dined in and second time we got take out. The fried rice & gyoza are a safe bet. Sushi rolls are a hit or miss. The first time we dined in the server was nice & the restaurant's atmosphere was welcoming. The sushi bar was definitely popular. Very family oriented as well. The parking was also easy to find on that Sunday. They are also very accommodating to shellfish allergies! I'm hoping to find a sushi roll I like more in the future. Gyoza & fried rice are always a safe bet as is their teriyaki. The online ordering is also very convenient.

This was a fun place to visit but nothing sensational. I came here with my sister and she got a noodle dish that was pretty good. I got the salmon sashimi. At the price I was disappointed that the pieces were not cut well or very large. When paying a premium price for a roll I expect premium quality. The rolls were excellent. We ate so fast I couldn't get pictures of them all and the rolls are a good portion size. If you're going here I'd suggest focusing on the rolls and the nigiri 2 pieces. That was the best part.

Such a magical night with Gourmand Food tour! Our last stop was so fun we stayed for this lollipop roll. Chef Adam makes this place epic.

We have been trying to eat here for several years (unable to as they only open for dinner and always seemed to be closed) finally made it for dinner during 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The food, service, and experience did not disappoint! The Tokyo Nachos were great in flavor and larger portions than I expected. The Shishito peppers were as expected. The Agedashi tofu was just ok. For the rolls, We had the Chuck F'n Norris, Snow Bowl, Spicy Dragon, and the Thriller. All were excellent. We all left having a good experience and fresh, great sushi. Even got everyone the Flying Sumo tee shirts to commemorate our visit!

The sushi was phenomenal! Recommend you make a reservation or you could be waiting a while for a table during peak hours! Leave room for dessert too!

The restaurant is located on Main Street and has plenty of space inside since it's two stories. Trish was an excellent host. She was great to talk to and made the whole visit very special for my cousin. We really appreciate her going above and beyond for our group. The sushi here is great. Very fresh and creative options. A member of our group has a sesame allergy and the staff took great care to ensure she had something good (and safe) to eat. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit Park City. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sushi and service in PC!

Sushi is over all solid - but don't expect the variety that you can find on the coasts. Nigiri are generously cut so keep that in mind. They also usually come two pieces to an order. The Black Cod is always good - but also comes with rice and bok choy with a spicy sauce. It's pretty easy to over order here. Chicken Kaarage are also a favorite dish of ours - it's hard to beat fried chicken. Staff is friendly and helpful. "Tatami" style seating is available in the back but we prefer the tables or bench booths.

I know what you're thinking, and it was on my mind too. Mountain sushi? Will I be sick afterwards?…read moreWell, I was sick with great vibes and happiness after our group apres ski dinner at Oishi Sushi. Their website states that they are Park City's favorite since 1995. It doesn't explicitly say what for, so I'm assuming they mean sushi (Favorite ambiance? Favorite bathrooms? The people need some clarity here). Some cursory research leads to me to believe that this is the only sushi establishment to have existed in Park City since 1995, so they're doing something right. Happy belated 30th, Oishi. You're a Millennial! To be completely transparent, I didn't do any of the ordering here (shoutout to Michael) so I don't know exactly what we had, but I was very impressed with the sushi despite what you would think based on the location. I'm not sure where they're sourcing their fatty tuna from, but each bite was a fluffy delicacy. $16 for 5 gyoza is wild, but I won't hold that against them in these trying times of gyoza-flation. I will say you're better off just ordering more sushi. I was very impressed by the ability and willingness of Oishi to sit and reasonably entertain a group of 14 ravenous adventurers. Our fellow diners were not ready for the volume to be cranked up to a different decibel once the sake bombs came out, though. Relative to other mountain town dining, Oishi deserves 5 stars. A worthy destination for your post-skiing group grub.

In terms of attire, it's a mixed bag as with other places here.. we were pretty casual but some were dressed up a bit more. Our server was wonderful, and the food and drink was phenomenal. This was, hands down, the best meal we had in Park City. We started with cocktails. The gin cocktail I had was the perfect combination of floral and citrus and left me wanting more. My husband enjoyed his as well. The wine menu here is insanely overpriced, so next time I'd ask the corkage fee to consider bringing our own bottle. They brought out a bread that was cooked with a Japanese seasoning on it and a side of butter, and it was delicious. The bison was the best thing we ate; incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, if we lived here we would be back often for this. The elk was very good as well, with fresh herbs that helped bring out the flavor. Can't go wrong with either of these dishes but the bison was the star to us. My daughter ordered the kids pasta with butter and parm, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers which came with potato wedges. Both were a good portion for children. For the sides, we ordered the Japanese sweet potatoes and the fried rice. The sweet potatoes were something different and were tasty but not our favorite or something we would order again. The fried rice with egg was delicious; it was full of sliced garlic and amazingly seasoned, we could not help but finish it all. At the time of the check, our server offered cotton candy for the kids. It was very flavorful and soft. It was a nice finishing touch. We'll definitely be booking this restaurant for our next trip to Park City.

We came in for my wife's birthday with our two young sons, had an OpenTable reservation noting the occasion, and spent over $300 on dinner. Unfortunately, the service throughout the evening felt disorganized and inattentive. Courses were delayed, one of our children's meals was forgotten until we reminded staff, dessert was brought out incorrectly, drinks and the check took a very long time, and small details were repeatedly missed. What made it harder was that this was meant to be a special family celebration. In past visits, the restaurant had gone out of its way to make things feel welcoming for kids, even offering cotton candy as a fun surprise. Our children saw it being given to nearby tables throughout the night, but we were never offered it, despite being there for a birthday dinner. It may sound minor, but after an already long and frustrating evening, it really affected the experience for our kids. No one was rude, and the food itself was good. This felt more like a breakdown in attentiveness and overall service execution. We like KITA and want to continue supporting it, but for the price point and reputation, this visit simply missed the mark.

They're not kidding when they say their lobsters are fresh! Other than the taste, my next favorite thing about their lobster rolls is the quantity. To be transparent, this place is not cheap, especially not their lobster rolls. However, they pack it on and the quality is unmatched. I wouldn't say I would dine here every due to the sheer high prices, but whenever I am in town, I always try to stop by my favorite lobster roll place ever! For reheated frozen food and needing to bus your own dishes, I was a little disappointed. Service was friendly! We came right when they opened and paid almost $300 for a meal for 6 people. The clam chowder (5/5) was flavorful and well-salted, and chockful of potatoes and meat. The bisque (3/5) was not nearly as flavorful or delicious-- it needed way more salt and creaminess. We each had either a lobster roll or lobster sliders as our main entree, but those were just pretty average lobster rolls. I think they could've been more buttery and salty. The salad that we got was really good! Overall, would not come back but happy to at least try Freshie's.

A few months ago we tried to eat here and got there one hour before they close (not 10 minutes- ONE WHOLE HOUR before closing.) Most of the tables were filled and still eating or waiting on food. Upon walking in the owner basically yelled at us from behind the sushi counter that he was "closed." Uhm ok, but the door says you close in an HOUR and almost every table still had occupants. We felt so disrespected and embarrassed, like why can't we be served?! No problem we took our business , money and 30% tip elsewhere where we felt wanted and valued. Fast forward to last night, a rare date night we were excited for. We got our food, however the vibe, ambiance and service is just so strange. We felt like the employees behind the sushi counter were watching us and talking/laughing at all of the guests the entire time. Also the bill was delivered before we were even done ( with over a half hour until closing,) so much for possibly wanting more food or another round of drinks. That was a nice hint to gtfo. The ONLY good thing about this place is the food, maybe that's why other reviews say they have so many takeout orders- because people cannot stand to dine in this place.

They treat you like royalty. Your water is never below a certain level and they clean your utensils and change out new plates every time. My friend and I ordered so many courses and the timing they came out and how each dish was explained was truly incredible. Most importantly my friend was gluten free and the chef was able to make so many changes without compromising on flavor or experience. Every dish was divine but my favorites were the salad (so simple but incredible marriage of flavors) and the seafood sampler! Being from California I was shocked to find such good quality seafood but it happened! The trio of wild game was delicious but the only gripe is that we ordered the meat medium and one piece came out well done. However our server Nicole fixed that right away and brought us out a whole new cooked piece. Again, service is exceptional and this meal was worth every penny. A beautiful setting with thoughtful servers. Nicole was so knowledgeable and friendly, popping in at just the right times to check on us. I felt the whole experience was thought out - meticulous. From plating to, setting, decor, and how long they wait between plates. I have a gluten allergy and the chef accommodated very easily. There was even gluten free bread served instead of focaccia. We had the seafood platter - it's SO fresh. It was considered for 4 people because there's 4 shrimp, 4 bites of lobster and halibut ceviche but my friend and I shared it amongst just us. There's cucumber served with the oyster - never thought that combo would work but i absolutely adored it. Oyster size was a bit small but still really fresh. The beef tartare.. i mean just look at the photo. Idk what else to say. The pear & burrata salad was so simple but the elements came out nicely. The crunch and freshness of the lettuce with the bits of crushed Marcona almonds... and pepper crushed on top.. Last but not least, a wonderful trio of meats: buffalo, elk and venison. If anything, I'd recommend going for the fresh seafood and fresh salad if you have problems choosing but really - you can't go wrong. We were stuffed for dessert but the pastry chef gave everyone some dark chocolate bark that was super good! Not overwhelming yet so flavorful. I can't race about it enough.
