    Very frustrated

Terrible service, very rude waiter we had to ask for water took 1 hour to get check. We hey never asked us how our food was didn't ask if we wanted drinks.

This was our second time dining at Sushi Blue. The gyoza never disappoints and I'm very happy that we got two orders of it. Both the accompanying sauces were great with the gyoza. The Korean beef bowl was also delicious. The vegetables were seasoned better than the beef. Next time will be asking for more sauce. They unfortunately did not have the sushi roll we wanted to try similarly to what happened the last time we dined in. We are hoping third time is the charm and we will be able to try everything we want. The pow day sushi roll was delicious. The waitress was nice. There was a decent lunch rush however she checked on us frequently. The Restraunt itself is a modern vibe. A great lunch spot. You can never go wrong with the reliability of a Bill White Restaurant.

Terrible service, rude waiter, no water refills, took an extra 45 mins and counting to get the check.

    Nice tables and atmosphere!

A really nice place woth great Sushi and atmosphere. Our waitress, Hanna, was extremely nice and attentive; she provided excellent service. The Philly roll was a big winner, and the smoke salmon was crazy good. The appetizer was primed thr meal just right. It would be a 5-star, but very expensive for what you get.

(Tookout 01/30/20 TH @ 5.00pm): Sushi sounded good, but a "blue burger" was more convenient! I was between movie viewings at Day 8 of the Sundance Film Festival, I needed something quick and easy for an early dinner, so by default Sushi Blue was where I ended-up only because they appeared to be the least busy, takeaway accessible, and directly across from the Redstone 8 Cinemas where I was watching movies. Sure, I could've returned to Red Rock Junction for a brew and appetizer, but this was my chance to try yet another different restaurant. Was this a wise choice!? PURCHASE Blue Burger w/Fries ($16.00): -lb Bill White Farms hand-pattied chuck, cheddar cheese, lettuce, red onion, and tomato between a ciabatta bun, this was truly a simple no-frills kind of burger with a frills and resort price, and at least was of decent size, but that was all. The fries were plentiful with an enjoyable crispy outside and moist inside. Sadly, the value was lacking on this meal when comparable ones easily would've been several dollars cheaper https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=W9za9pFAgCivQJ7ogAce5A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. SERVICE Greeted by a friendly young hostess, she provided me a menu and eventually took my order as I waited on a nearby cushioned bench seat. About 15 minutes later, my food was packed up and ready to go along with some condiments, napkins, and utensils. A pretty straightforward process that got me out with enough time to eat and catch my next set of movies - thank you! PARKING (FREE) Located in the Newpark Town Center and Redstone Center at the Park City Junction Shopping Center, there was plenty of parking - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A decently-sized clean and modern-looking restaurant that appeared to go back a bit with many tables, chairs, bench seats, and a sushi bar. Various framed pictures hung on the walls. Decent natural lighting came through the front glass windows and doors while a ton of recessed electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. Several TVs were spread throughout while Reggae music played in the background. ATTIRE Totally "ski-resort" casual, so I would normally be in a beanie, fleece top, thermals, jeans, and warm waterproof boots, but during the warmer time of year I'd imagine something more casual such as a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL This wasn't a very exciting first visit to Sushi Blue, and the fact that I ordered a burger because of my circumstances at the time didn't make the situation any better. Needless to say, I wish I had more time to actually have ordered sushi at a sushi restaurant instead of one of the few non-asian and "turf" food items on their tight menu of sushi https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=uGDBZOiRX3HVJfTi18KJLg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw and other seafood-focused items https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=kBc8iPyl6jHWiFgRaQ5pkg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw. The prices were certainly on the higher end, but the service was very much to my liking. I found good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $18.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... The restaurant is located on Main Street and has plenty of space inside since it's two stories. Trish was an excellent host. She was great to talk to and made the whole visit very special for my cousin. We really appreciate her going above and beyond for our group. The sushi here is great. Very fresh and creative options. A member of our group has a sesame allergy and the staff took great care to ensure she had something good (and safe) to eat. I'll definitely be back the next time we visit Park City. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great sushi and service in PC!

Sushi is over all solid - but don't expect the variety that you can find on the coasts. Nigiri are generously cut so keep that in mind. They also usually come two pieces to an order. The Black Cod is always good - but also comes with rice and bok choy with a spicy sauce. It's pretty easy to over order here. Chicken Kaarage are also a favorite dish of ours - it's hard to beat fried chicken. Staff is friendly and helpful. "Tatami" style seating is available in the back but we prefer the tables or bench booths.

We also tried the burrata salad. It was an infusion of flavors that included a pecan pesto that was delightful. I had the seafood soup with clam, salmon and bacon. It was good. For the mains, my wife tried the bison with polenta, mole, carrots and an avocado cream. It was tender and the flavors were good. My wife didn't love the mole sauce though. The birria ramen was excellent. I liked the flavor of the consommé in the broth and the birria meat was perfect. It also came with a little quesadilla or cheese taco, which was a nice touch. I recommend the cookie skillet with ice cream as well. Our server, Melissa, is as super helpful and attentive. The inside was cozy and well appointed.

We called in to check and the hostess kindly updated the reservation to include them and adjust our reserved table. This place is pretty big, and it was packed when we came! There is a large bar area and different seating options; we sat at a large booth which was perfect for our group. We expected we'd be waiting a while, but the service was fast and the kitchen and bar were shockingly quick with drinks and food alike. The staff here were very nice and friendly. We were 4 adults and 4 children and it was very family-friendly with coloring sheets, great kids drink options (including mocktails) and meals as well as kid-friendly desserts (dirt cup being the most popular at our table, but sorbet and ice cream selection was also good). The adult cocktails here were great, and the food was delicious. My tuna was flavorful and cooked to perfection, but that was the remark from everyone.. we all really enjoyed our meals and were pleasantly surprised by how great the overall experience was, especially given how full the restaurant was. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant, and returning to this spot on a future trip.

In terms of attire, it's a mixed bag as with other places here.. we were pretty casual but some were dressed up a bit more. Our server was wonderful, and the food and drink was phenomenal. This was, hands down, the best meal we had in Park City. We started with cocktails. The gin cocktail I had was the perfect combination of floral and citrus and left me wanting more. My husband enjoyed his as well. The wine menu here is insanely overpriced, so next time I'd ask the corkage fee to consider bringing our own bottle. They brought out a bread that was cooked with a Japanese seasoning on it and a side of butter, and it was delicious. The bison was the best thing we ate; incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, if we lived here we would be back often for this. The elk was very good as well, with fresh herbs that helped bring out the flavor. Can't go wrong with either of these dishes but the bison was the star to us. My daughter ordered the kids pasta with butter and parm, and my son ordered the kids chicken fingers which came with potato wedges. Both were a good portion for children. For the sides, we ordered the Japanese sweet potatoes and the fried rice. The sweet potatoes were something different and were tasty but not our favorite or something we would order again. The fried rice with egg was delicious; it was full of sliced garlic and amazingly seasoned, we could not help but finish it all. At the time of the check, our server offered cotton candy for the kids. It was very flavorful and soft. It was a nice finishing touch. We'll definitely be booking this restaurant for our next trip to Park City.

We came in for my wife's birthday with our two young sons, had an OpenTable reservation noting the occasion, and spent over $300 on dinner. Unfortunately, the service throughout the evening felt disorganized and inattentive. Courses were delayed, one of our children's meals was forgotten until we reminded staff, dessert was brought out incorrectly, drinks and the check took a very long time, and small details were repeatedly missed. What made it harder was that this was meant to be a special family celebration. In past visits, the restaurant had gone out of its way to make things feel welcoming for kids, even offering cotton candy as a fun surprise. Our children saw it being given to nearby tables throughout the night, but we were never offered it, despite being there for a birthday dinner. It may sound minor, but after an already long and frustrating evening, it really affected the experience for our kids. No one was rude, and the food itself was good. This felt more like a breakdown in attentiveness and overall service execution. We like KITA and want to continue supporting it, but for the price point and reputation, this visit simply missed the mark.
