A warm and cozy meal after a cold and snowy day on the slopes! Yuma is located continently close to the Park City lift, and a short trolley ride from Main Street. Inside the quaint restaurant features numerous tables and a small bar seating area. The menu is on the smaller side, but incredibly well done. We ordered right away; a tonkotsu ramen for me, and shoyu for my boyfriend. Ramen came out very quick and seemed to be traditionally prepared (the tempura shrimps a nice little bonus!). This meal was like a warm hug; the broth was absolutely divine. Creamy (but not cream based), well seasoned, and warm enough to give the noodles their last bit of cooking. Mine had the chashu pork and was tender enough to bite off but with enough meaty integrity to fill you. I barely got 3/4 of the way through my bowl before I had to tap out. The portions are perfect! I was so pleasantly surprised that we were able to get right in and sit down. Overall the meal was quick and hearty, and one of the best ramen's I have had! I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went here based on all the glowing reviews, but now I'm convinced those were all bribed. They were handing out free drinks in exchange for 5-star reviews, which already gave me a bad feeling. Sure enough, the ramen was a letdown. The broth was flavorless and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, the noodles were soggy, and don't even get me started on the toppings--unappetizing chachu and the egg was not marinated. The whole thing was bland, under-seasoned, and just plain disappointing. I get it, they're trying to pull in customers with the "free drink" offer, but they really should focus on making their food worth the visit instead. Served with egg noodles, lava egg marinated with special shoyu sauce, 18-hrs Sous Vide chash pork, grilled with Char Siu sauce, special shrimp tempura, scallions, naruto, and nori. Basically, just as tasty as the Tonkotsu Broth but you could taste and smell the black garlic oil. It added such a richness to the broth. The pork chashu was thinly slice and very tender.
