Messaged on a Sunday to several businesses to help mount two large 85" TVs. They responded within 5…read moremin and were able to coordinate a tech to come out same day. The tech showed up on time with all the appropriate tools. He was very respectful and friendly. You could tell that he had a ton of experience with various potential hiccups that come up with this type of job and made some really good recommendations about placement etc. He was in and out in about 30 min and everything looks and works amazing. If you need a large TV (or 2) hung the right way, don't want to worry about them falling, damaging your walls, or you are like me and value having someone do something in 30 min that would have taken me all day, several f-bombs and potentially a divorce, definitely call Tech Next Door. Well worth it.

This company is continuing to charge my card for services that I discontinued in December of 2024…read more I have numerous emails, calls, and texts requesting cancellation, however, despite this - I'm still being changed for service for 6 months since moving from my home. Do NOT work with them. It started well but it's been terrible trying to leave. They are BARELY responsive and don't follow through with what they say they will do.

I requested a quote through yelp nearly 2 1/2 years ago, and mike got in touch with me right away…read more In no time he came out and had us up, running, and fully secure. Never, ever had a problem with them. I mean, they are on the ball. I've set it off plenty of times...especially at the beginning...and if I don't get that alarm off pronto, they are calling me, my husband, and then kids in that order... Never had to reach the cops. Once I was home alone and my alarm went off...scared me to death...they called and I kept them on the line as I tiptoed towards the door it said was ajar. It had been the walk door of the garage, and my husband didn't close it good and tight...the wind had blown it open, tripping the alarm. Just very pleased. Wish I was this pleased with other Nashville service providers.

Today (08JUN20 - Mon) Hugo, alarm technician from Preventia Security of Columbia, TN arrived at my…read morenew home addition on-time and ready to work. Hugo called me first to confirm our appointment (that is a huge "plus" in my book when dealing with technicians knowing they are on the way!) and WAS ON TIME! After Hugo installed the alarm / smoke detector items and keypads, he explained how to use the system fully without "rushing or glossing over" what I needed to know. My work order was not a large dollar amount one and they were "tying into" an existing alarm system. Most alarm companies would probably have tried to "up-sell" me a new, costly alarm control panel or quoted an outrageous price just to get me to decline and look elsewhere . I would like to applaud Preventia Security for sending an alarm professional to attend to my alarm / smoke detector needs. Hugo is a valued team member and an asset to Preventia Security in my opinion. I also would like to acknowledge John, their salesman and Sarah, their scheduler who assisted me in this small, but important alarm / smoke detector job. Both John and Sarah were also tops in their game in terms of communications and responsiveness! Folks, I am pretty critical when it comes to service, value and communications with sales and service related companies. Without any reservations, I can honestly recommend Preventia Security of Columbia, Tennessee for a value priced, headache-free installation of your alarm / smoke detector system. Thank you Preventia Security!
