Kevin was great. Showed up to program a key fob for a new/used car I had just purchased, and cut the blank key that was embedded inside it. He checked to make sure I had a good battery in the fob, and explained how to use it in the event that the fob battery died on me and not in a position to immediately replace it. I hadn't known that, so that could end up being really good knowledge one day. Would hate to be stranded somewhere unnecessarily due to a dead key fob battery! Was all done in about 10 minutes. Probably the best money I spent this week. read more

Never returned my call. I called them three times. Very disappointing. I had used them before.

Arrived on time - a rare occurrence these days - and got my lock open quickly. Friendly, prompt service which is what customers want. I recommend them absolutely. read more

Kevin came by on short notice and exactly on time. Cut and programmed 2 keys (with the lock/unlock, panic and liftgate buttons) at a reasonable cost. Dealership wanted $285 for one!! Absolutely recommend Cool Springs Lock and Key. read more

We had scheduled a time for Kevin to come to my home to program a new key for my car. He texted me 10 minutes before our appointment to confirm he was en route and showed up exactly on time. He was very professional and took care of everything very quickly. While some "locksmiths" seem sketchy when they pull up in a 2002 Civic with a grinder in the trunk, when Kevin arrived in his fully outfitted (and extremely organized) sprinter van, it was clear that he is the real deal. I highly recommend Kevin and Cool Springs Lock & Key. read more

Needed to get a new fob for our daughter's car. Read the good reviews about Cool Springs lock and key so decided to give them a call. Spoke with Kevin, who was so nice. He had to check if they had her specific key/fob on hand, and he called me back in five minutes. Pricing was extremely fair, and Kevin was able to come that day to replace the key. Was delighted with the service, professionalism, and pricing. Highly recommend. read more

Talked to someone from this company who said someone would contact me regarding helping me get back into my home. I had gone out at night for a potty break for my dog and my door accidentally locked behind me. I was freezing and no one ever called me back, even though they said they would. They at least could have returned my call instead of me waiting for them for 30 minutes to let me know they couldn't come before I called Affordable Locksmith who saved me. read more

Excellent, prompt service! We had a home lock stuck. Mark arrived within an hour and knew exactly what was wrong and took care of it.

Genuinely awesome people! Kalen came out the same day that I called for a quote on a decent sized job. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of my different options and once I decided what I wanted he was out installing within a few days. The first person I called (from a different company) was not kind and was condescending when I didn't know exactly what I was wanting. This crew was the complete opposite and it's so appreciated! read more

Thought it would be easy to change tumblers in a couple locks, then you realize why the experts are the experts. Embarrassingly needed to call CSLK and he was at the house in 15 min, keys were done for all doors within 20. Great service, great price and highly recommended! read more

Kevin met us at the car dealership to get us a new transponder, it was quick and painless experience! The price was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend using this company! read more

What great service! It's refreshing. I received a quote within hours of asking. The communication was immediate and continuous. Availability was quick and offered weekend service if needed; we didn't. We agreed up on a time; they were on time. The work was done efficiently and professionally. These guys get it done right and do what they say! read more

These guys are the best. I was about to pay an absurd $$$ amount to the local Toyota dealership to get a new keyless entry fob calibrated, but thought better of it and looked around for somebody local. I actually started my search with another locksmith in Franklin, but he couldn't do the latest key fobs because his machine was dated. But he referred me to Cool Springs Lock and Key. I then drove over to their "location" but quickly found out they're not really at a location - they on the move in their service vans. After a simple phone call, they met me within the hour at the Brentwood Costco parking lot and had my issue fixed in minutes. They'd be my #1 recommendation to anyone with lock or key issues in the greater Nashville area, hands down! read more

When you need a locksmith and want friendly, prompt service at a fair price, these are the guys to call. They show up when they say they are going to and do what they promised to do. I had a broken latch on a door leading to my garage at my home. I first called another locksmith in Franklin, sent photos, talked on the phone, emailed back and forth... the locksmith was to order a replacement latch from the manufacturer... four weeks later, nothing but excuses all blamed on the manufacturer. I finally found Cool Springs Lock and Key. They were at my door within an hour of my call. They installed a generic replacement latch and ordered a warranted replacement latch from the manufacturer while they were at my home. The replacement latch arrived at my place within two days and these guys were out to install it within 45 minutes of my call to let them know the part was here. They do auto, residential and commercial. They know what they are doing, friendly, prompt and fair priced. I won't be wasting my time with anyone else again. Cool Springs Lock and Key gets the call. Thanks guys, great job! read more

Bobby was so responsive and put me at ease when I told him I was on my way to the airport and realized I locked my older kids out of the house. Told me he'd be over in 15 min no problem. Highly recommend these guys if ever in a pickle. Didn't break the bank at all either! Saved the day! read more

A huge shout-out to Cool Springs Lock & Key! We locked ourselves out of our house a few days ago. Luckily I had my phone with me and called Cool Springs Lock & Key. They were out here in 15 minutes! Kalen was professional, fast, and knew what he was doing. Today we had two new combination locks installed on our doors so we won't lock ourselves out again. Kalen again did a great job. I highly recommend them! read more

Kevin was very professional, prompt, and friendly. Excellent customer service. Came right to the door so it was hassle free. It was about 40% cheaper than going thru the dealership. I highly recommend this team! Great service. Great price! Tina P. read more

On a day when everything was going wrong, Cool Springs Lock & Key got it right! I had run out for a quick lunch and ended up locking my keys in my car before I got the chance to head back to work. I felt panicked, but quickly remembered my mother-in-law recommending Cool Springs Lock & Key to someone else recently. I decided to give them a try and the service I received was exceptional! They were at my car within 10 minutes, and had my car opened within 2! That's no exaggeration! The method that they use causes much less damage to the car than the usual "coat-hanger-hook-and-hope". The man who assisted me was very pleasant as well. He was even able to take my credit card as payment right there. Very convenient service overall! While I hope I don't have to, I wouldn't hesitate to turn to them again! read more

These fine people have helped me out more than once and they are wonderful to work with. Much to my delight, they arrived within 10 minutes of calling them and handled my service request very quickly. They made me 8 sets of keys for out office, on the spot, after changing out all of the locks. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly. read more
