The locksmith showed up at the house and quoted 3 locks at $25, $25, $35, and when the job was done handled my wife a bill for nearly $300. When she questioned the charge in that he had just quoted the job, he said the rest was a service fee. He then insulted my wife by quipping, "Most people in these affluent neighborhoods know there's a service fee". If you're thinking using these people.....think again. Dishonest is the nicest word I'll share. read more

If you are looking for the best Locksmith in the area call Access Lock & Key! My car and car fob was dead in our garage & we called Access at around 4pm & I kid you not, Will from Access was here within 20 minutes. He accessed the situation & solved it in under 5 minutes. Amazing customer service! Will was efficient, professional, punctual & a really nice guy! Hopefully we do not need a Locksmith in the near future but if we do Access Lock & Key will be our one stop shop! Thanks Will! read more

Not able to help with vehicle type today. I was in need of key replacement and was turned down.

Will opened a locked 4 drawer file cabinet through patience and know how! He was prompt and explained the situation along the way. He listened and applied his knowledge to solve the problem. Have a tricky situation, he's the answer! read more

After calling several locksmiths that said they would be out but never showed up, I went to Yelp and found Access Lock and Key. Highly recommend! I scheduled an appointment to have all of our entry locks rekeyed after losing our keys. Will came out and in about an hour and rekeyed four different door locks/dead bolts and provided/cut extra keys us to have. read more

Will was great in helping with a recent project to re-key my locks. He made the overall experience very enjoyable as he answered all my questions, and I felt he was knowledgeable and extremely professional. He provided quick quote and appointment. Showed up on time and is a prime example why I truly believe in supporting local businesses like Access. read more

We were outside barbecuing and our 2 year old has recently learned to turn the bottom locks on the doors. So she decided it would be a good idea to lock it and walk outside with us. Needless to say we were in a jam. Called access lock and key and he was here in under 20 mins. Got us right in. Thank you so much! read more

Very knowledgeable and thorough. Recommended the right solutions for my lock situations!

The lock broke on one of our doorhandles sometime back. Then another one broke. Seemed like it would be a hassle to get it fixed. Turns out purchasing the replacement was harder than finding the right locksmith service. I called two companies and wound up using Access Lock and Key. Will Lanier came out and not only fixed those locks but also fixed two others that were slightly misaligned! He is very fast, efficient, and his services are reasonably priced. He also describes the issue in enough detail that you'll understand the mechanical problem. If you're needing a new lock or to get your existing one fixed, I highly recommend Will's company, Access Lock and Key. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the owner of Access! He was extremely knowledge, prompt and professional! He was able to point out flaws about our locks that needed extra fixing. I will recommend you anyone looking for lock and key needs!! read more

Well. After my initial phone conversation when setting the appointment on Friday for a rekey first thing Monday morning, I was impressed. William seemed professional and ready to serve. He said they prided themselves on being on time to appointments and if running behind always called ahead. Scored points with me. I explained that I selected him based on a good review on Yelp from a past customer. I even suggested he begin to utilize this service to grow his business. Being in real estate, I am always looking for quality vendors. Fast forward to Monday. I had to call him at 9:20 to make sure he was still planning to show up. He initially seemed like he had forgotten about our appointment but said he would be there in about 15 minutes which would mean he was late. I'm in real estate so I understand sometime people run late but I selected him for my client and the first impression he has is that he is late. Not the best first impression. This was a large re-key and I left him with the owner to complete the job. About an hour in, I get a text from my client telling me the locksmith had an emergency and had to leave. My client was stranded there because half of the doors were not changed out. Turns out the emergency was another Realtor locked themselves out of their car in a parking lot at Lowes. I found that to be very unprofessional although a friendly gesture. I may have to chalk this up to a bad day. That's too bad because I had higher expectations. read more

Will Lanier is the best. He's locally owned and operated, prompt, courteous, and most importantly a straight shooter and trust worthy. Be careful dialing this business from clicking here on Yelp! When I did, YELP had my phone dialing out to a different number that was a call center and NOT ACCESS LOCK AND KEY. It seemed very shady, so I had to dial his number directly to get him. Once I talked to Will, all was good and he took great care of us and our much needed new lock. If you call this business, Will the owner is the only one you speak to, HE DOES NOT EMPLOY AN OVERSEAS OR ANY CALL CENTER. Give him a call directly. read more

Just fabulous! They did a great job when rekeying my new home. Very professional and just an all around honest and nice guy. I would HIGHLY recommend using this company. My locks are prefectly smooth and work like a charm. read more

Very quick and efficient; Will was very friendly and our new locks are great!! We called yesterday and they were able to fit us in today; arrived and changed our locks in a very timely manner. Would highly recommend them and will use them again if we need! read more

Will from Access was fabulous. I was in a real fix; phone and keys inside my locked house, me outside with the dog. Husband and kids out of town. New to the neighborhood. Nonetheless knocked on next door neighbor's door and she let me use her phone. Found Access online and 20 minutes later I was in my house! Will was personable, professional (politely but importantly, confirmed my identity), and efficient. The lock still works perfectly (no drilling/destruction) and the price was exceptionally reasonable. Seriously, if you need a locksmith, Access is the place to call. read more

Called on a Sunday at 4pm and were told to call another company as they were closing early because of a truck issue. That company they told us to call was not even open on a Sunday. A little frustrating and seems strange to me that they would close so early. Guess all the good reviews were made during the weekday and during normal hours. Definitely not a company to call when you are in a bind. read more

This was my first time ever calling a locksmith. I literally just got home from the airport and ended a week of business travel. I came home and broke my key in the dead bolt. Epic Fail on my part. I called Will and he showed up in a quick 20 minutes. He was very professional, informative, and efficient! He also fixed another door-key-lock situation (that has been long overdue) while he was onsite. The cost of all the services was very reasonable; I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing friendly and professional help. Thanks Will!!! read more

I called Access to come change the locks on our new home in Franklin. They got to us same day and professionally changed the locks on all of our doors. After he drove away, I let my dogs out the backdoor and promptly locked myself out! I called from a neighbor's house and he turned around, came back to my house and let me back in - free of charge. I think this is a great company and wouldn't call anyone else if I needed a locksmith. read more

Fast, efficient and professional. Will was quick to respond and got me back into my car in no time. His knowledge of different cars and situations was important to me as I was driving a rental and couldn't risk breaks or scratches. HIGHLY recommend. read more

Amazing service and great work - would highly recommend!! I was able to schedule an appointment next day to re-key a new house and install electronic keypads the security company was unable to. Very knowledgeable! read more

Was on time via what I was told. Like a dummy I dropped my keys in my trunk and then voila, I closed it. Called and had someone out to be in 20 minutes. Wish o had seen this yelp add first, but hence my phone was also locked in my trunk. I paid fifty bucks and here it says call for a 45 dollar lock out call. That's okay, the guy was friend, efficient and had me on my way in 5 minutes! read more

I called this company at 7:30 on a Saturday night during a Titans wildcard game and the owner came to my home withjn 20min and I was in my house 10min after that. He was extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I thought this service would take 4x as long and be at least twice as expensive. I definitely recommend Will & Access. read more

Access Lock and Key is well worth the call! Will, the owner, is licensed, conscientious, fast and affordable. He fixed my latch, and recommended the right repair - not selling me anything I didn't need. Then he flipped a lock which had been upside for years. Will also spent the time to help with another repair... adding a lock to a 1920's door. I would definitely recommend this company! They are people you can trust, and when fixing the entry to your home, safety (as well as entry if you lost keys, of course), is priority number 1! read more

We had a great experience with Access Lock & Key they confirmed appointment, he was on time and quickly re-keyed our new home. Being new to the area I was surprised to find out that there are no background checks or licensing required to operate this type of business. Knowing that Access Lock and Key is fully licensed, local and competitively priced is why we went with them. read more

Needed help unlocking an old metal cabinet. Access Lock and Key came to our house within a few of hours of my call, gave me options for how to fix the problem and completed the job for the price we agreed to up front. I would use this company again. read more

Will was super prompt & very courteous. Also verified I was the homeowner (locked myself out!) via drivers license and a utility bill in my name. I appreciated the extra checks, which are required by law. Thank you! read more

while i was told that there was a $50 service charge, I was also told, on the phone that they had all locks to replace. Unfortunately, he did not have my lock, and only could offer advice for me to go to Home Depot to purchase a new lock. BUT...i had to still pay for the service charge. 50 Bucks for a suggestion to go to home Depot. Fair? You be the judge. Never again. read more

SO PLEASED!!! Access Lock and Key are Great!!I usually use another company for any home or business issues I have. They were on (I'm sure a much needed) break so I had to find someone for my immediate need. I saw a very favorable review on Access Lock and Key & decided to try them. I was so pleased with the service I received! They came same day & didn't try to inflate the bill in any way. Will Lanier is an honest, decent businessman and a good guy. He has several Real Estate clients he does work for as well. I was so pleased with the job he did & the price was fair. I would definitely use his service again! Please remember Access Lock and Key for any size job! I know I will. read more
