Will Lanier is the best. He's locally owned and operated, prompt, courteous, and most importantly a straight shooter and trust worthy. Be careful dialing this business from clicking here on Yelp! When I did, YELP had my phone dialing out to a different number that was a call center and NOT ACCESS LOCK AND KEY. It seemed very shady, so I had to dial his number directly to get him. Once I talked to Will, all was good and he took great care of us and our much needed new lock. Well. After my initial phone conversation when setting the appointment on Friday for a rekey first thing Monday morning, I was impressed. William seemed professional and ready to serve. He said they prided themselves on being on time to appointments and if running behind always called ahead. Scored points with me. I explained that I selected him based on a good review on Yelp from a past customer. I even suggested he begin to utilize this service to grow his business. Being in real estate, I am always looking for quality vendors. Fast forward to Monday. I had to call him at 9:20 to make sure he was still planning to show up. He initially seemed like he had forgotten about our appointment but said he would be there in about 15 minutes which would mean he was late. I'm in real estate so I understand sometime people run late but I selected him for my client and the first impression he has is that he is late. Not the best first impression. This was a large re-key and I left him with the owner to complete the job. About an hour in, I get a text from my client telling me the locksmith had an emergency and had to leave. My client was stranded there because half of the doors were not changed out. Turns out the emergency was another Realtor locked themselves out of their car in a parking lot at Lowes. I found that to be very unprofessional although a friendly gesture. I may have to chalk this up to a bad day. That's too bad because I had higher expectations. read more

Will from Access was fabulous. I was in a real fix; phone and keys inside my locked house, me outside with the dog. Husband and kids out of town. New to the neighborhood. Nonetheless knocked on next door neighbor's door and she let me use her phone. Found Access online and 20 minutes later I was in my house! Called on a Sunday at 4pm and were told to call another company as they were closing early because of a truck issue. That company they told us to call was not even open on a Sunday. A little frustrating and seems strange to me that they would close so early. Guess all the good reviews were made during the weekday and during normal hours. I called Access to come change the locks on our new home in Franklin. They got to us same day and professionally changed the locks on all of our doors. Unfortunately, he did not have my lock, and only could offer advice for me to go to Home Depot to purchase a new lock.
