I had a security door that the lock broke and left me locked inside, keys did not work. This was 1/31/23 I called and they came right out to fix it, that was great, charged $234.00 which was ok. Appreciated the quick response and courteous tech that tried to fix it Very soon after that it broke again, same issue, locked and unable to enter through that door. Here I am 3/24/23 and my door is still broken after three calls this month, was told today that they are still ooking for a lock that will work on that door. I had much rather they would have told me from the beginning that they could not fix it. I will let you be the judge whether this is acceptable business practices or not. read more

Recently moved and needed the locks rekeyed. They responded quickly, had competitive pricing, and were able to get a tech out within the requested time frame. He showed up on time and was very professional. Unfortunately, he could not get the front door deadbolt chamber off and had to drill and replace the whole lock. All was good, but he did no clean up, leaving piles of wood and metal shavings which I had to sweep up. Would have been better if he cleaned up after the job but very good overall. read more

To whom it may concern: I was looking for extra ignition keys for my 1995 Honda station wagon. I tried a few hardware stores and most couldn't cut a key that worked. At best I would have a key that might work if I "jiggled" it. These were young guys trying to cut the key as best they knew how on a key machine. Despite their sincere efforts, I came away worrying about losing my last good one. The thought of going to the Honda dealer was not a reasonable option. I was at a dead-end with one good key. That is until I found ABC Lock and Key on Nolensville Road. The gentleman there was polite, patient and an true artist. Taking a look at the hardware efforts and shaking his head he went into the back with my original and in no time produced three keys - all that worked perfectly in the ignition and the doors! I knew I had found a man who knew his business when he went outside with me and promptly open the locked driver's side door with the freshly made key and then started the car two or three time, no problem. The gentleman who made my keys was a real craftsman. I will recommend him to all. I also have a 1991 Toyota pick-up, so when I go back to get extras I will do it with complete confidence. I don't like leaving a poor review for a business in my neighborhood. I came into the store and had about $80 worth of keys made for my business. We knew right away that he didn't know what he was doing when he started banging on the door repeatedly. Needed a locksmith to help my friend retrieve her keys out of her locked apartment late on a Saturday afternoon. First, we called a more well-known locksmith in the area and were told that they would call us right back. Fast forward to 20 minutes later and still no reply. So, we gave ABC a call and 23 minutes later, they were at her doorstep; within a matter of minutes, she was back inside. Not only were they super fast & efficient, but they were also super friendly. They also gave us the charge for the service upfront (which, might I add, was considerably less than the other location). If ever in need of a locksmith again, I would definitely consider calling ABC first. Really honest work! I needed to get a car key programmed, and the dealer was going to charge me $250 for "an hour and a half of labor".
