This was my 3rd attempt to get this key duplicated and West End nailed it. Great service. More than reasonable price. And able to duplicate a shed handle lock key that is deliberately hard to do to discourage duplication. read more

West End Lock - Hard to duplicate shed key. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

A great local business which really deserves your support! They are my go-to's with any lock or keying needs. Lots of residential and commercial choices - the folks working here really know their stuff and are more than willing to give suggestions and help with orders. They also have a full key selection vs other hardware stores (including newer auto car keys) and can duplicate just about anything you bring in. Easy parking in front in 17th - stop in and keep this long time Nashville business going during the C-19 times !!!! read more

They do good work and the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. They were recommended when I moved and needed spare keys.

I scheduled an appointment for a locksmith to come to my home, but no one showed up. When I called they said it had been rescheduled, but I was not notified. I scheduled a second appointment and like the first, no one showed up. I don't have a clue about the quality of their work, but failing to show on two occasions is not encouraging. read more

We purchased a safe from West End Lock and unfortunately within a year the electronic lock failed. They not only opened the safe for us they also walked us through the warranty process, made sure we got a new safe not just a new lock, and installed the new safe for us when it arrived at a very reasonable cost. Due to their excellent customer service I would not hesitate to recommend them read more

Quick, easy service. Love the local feel and the best guys to rely on for an easy fix! Went in and it was kinda packed but the guy took care of me right away for one key to be copied. He did it in literally 20 seconds and was so kind when I checked out. Will be a lifelong customer! read more

Chrissy and Jeff at West End Lock went out of their way to make sure my home was secure. Both went well above and beyond what would've been necessary to call this great service. They were exceptional to me. I wanted everyone to know about my experience. read more

Great locksmith! So glad I found them. They installed a new high-security lock on my home. They were very fair in pricing, and they were very easy to work with and communicate with. They came out to look at my door and to give me recommendations and an estimate and then they came back after the lock was ordered and installed it. Very quick, easy, and very professional. I would recommend them to anybody. There's nothing better than a good locksmith...makes all the difference! Thank you! read more

More accurately, I'd give West End Lock 4.5 stars. The only thing that keeps it from 5 is that, at times, it feels like off the street customers are not as catered to as their business clients might be. I've not really got anything solid to base that on but it's just one of those feelings, you know? I have never been turned away or completely ignored. But the greatest part of their business is that they've got basically every key blank you could possible need copied. I have literally gone in with a key ring of 6 different keys (one had no number, one was for a random cabinet lock) and asked if they could copy the whole ring. The young guy behind the counter said, 'Sure!'. And it was that simple. I've had keys copied at Lowe's and other places before but no one has copied keys as well as these guys. The other great thing about them is that they have high security entry solutions for us and the expertise to back it up. I look forward to get all my locks, keys, and cylinders from these guys in the future. read more

I was locked out of my home because the lock on my door was broken (I had two keys but neither would work) . West End lock has a agreement with our Hoa to exclusively service us and has a master key. My building uses odd commercial grade locks that no other company or locksmith in the area knows how to work on. Tech on the phone refused to help me, told me to call another locksmith because he was 30mins away. When I tried to tell him that no one else can help with these particular locks, he started berating me and saying "let me teach you a lesson". I tried 3 times saying "sorry but can you direct me to someone else who can help me" but he kept ranting. I got very frustrated and hung up. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. read more

Came in on behalf of my new boss. Got 5 office keys made in just as many minutes. I barely got the chance to peruse their locks and safes and key chains when they told me they were ready. Place was larger than I expected. Nice folks. read more

The techs are probably pretty good but the gals in the office have their heads up their ass. I scheduled an appointment to have all the locks changed on my house and they never showed up. When I called the girl in the office said she remembered talking to me but forgot to put it on the schedule. Sat here all day waiting for theses jerks and never showed up. read more

I go here when I need a key copied or to buy multiple locks that all need to be keyed the same. The service is fast (unless you get behind a guy with a big order) and there are lots of locks, safes, and other security devices to look at while you wait. Unlike Lowe's or Walmart, the keys made here always work. read more

Ugh. Three trips here and my cylinders still weren't right. Took the lot to ABC Lock and Key on Nolensville Road and all locks work perfectly now. West End has horrible hours (M-F 9-5) too. Skip these guys. read more

Very friendly on the phone. Too bad the price quote I got was over double the next company I called for a Saturday lockout. Not trying to sell for that other company, just thought they could use the feedback and revisit their pricing strategy... read more

Just visited West End Lock for second time. Service same as last time: prompt, professional, and great service. Had a truck door lock issue on 66 Ford F-100. Fixed the problem in less than 3 minutes. Would not charge me! Excellent place to do business. Highly recommend. read more

The place for keys - they all worked like a charm

I stopped in to get key copies and the service was very fast and friendly. And best of all, all three keys worked perfectly!!

I called West End lock off of a neighbors phone when my landlord did not answer. I left a message on the emergency voicemail and did not leave my number because IT WAS LOCKED IN MY APARTMENT. My landlord ended up showing up and the locksmith came up to my apartment 1 minute after she left. I did not have time to cancel since he showed up literally 1 minute after i had stepped inside (but arrived an hour after i called) Terrible service and will not work with me on a fair price considering the locksmith did no servicing to my apartment. Will never call them again. read more

Five star service! I will never go to Home Depot or a large chain store to have a key copy made again. These guys do pretty much one thing and they do it well. I've had a dozen or more keys made in 10 minutes. Other keys that may leave a Home Depot employee scratching their head these guys are able to copy without hesitation. read more

We had a number of issues in the house we moved into. The company has some top-notch locksmiths, who worked through my questions, answered them, although not timely, and fixed them at a fairly reasonable price. They gave me sound advice where I needed it. I appreciate their service. read more

I was locked out of my house this morning and was preparing myself for a long, terrible day, but after using my neighbor's phone to find West End Lock I had someone at my house within 10 minutes of my call and I was into my house just minutes after that. Very reasonable for how fast and professional the service was. Thanks for saving the day West End Lock! read more

West End Lock changed our locks this morning . I left for work - returned in the afternoon to find the new keys made by them did not work - I was locked out of my house - charge by them $115.00. Called their installer - was told - he was not on the clock - to call after hours . We asked their number - his reply " I don't know ". Called the emergency # 6-7 times telling them we were locked out by keys they made--NEVER received a call ! Had to contact another locksmith to get keys to my house ! DO NOT call these people - read more
