So earlier this month I had an eroneous charge from Unlimited Security. I promptly reached out to Linda, who put me in contact with her book keeper who got straight to work on resolving it. I am so grateful for the great local service I get from Unlimited Security, and while it too just over a week to get things sorted out, everything was fixed and put back in it's place in a timely manner due to the tireless efforts their bookeeper. With the various national Security providers, I looked for a company with a local presence. After reading excellent reviews on Unlimited Security, I contacted them for a proposal. To my surprise, an appointment was made and the company owner shows up at my front door. She walked through our home accessing our needs and made recommendations. I was pleased that Unlimited uses Honeywell equipment, which is a leader in home security systems. She presented the proposal right there without hard sell tactics and we told her we would give it some thought. Many security companies offer free equipment with a inflated monthly monitoring contract. With Unlimited, you purchased the equipment upfront and then the monthly monitoring is 40% less than the National companies offered. The upfront equipment cost is very reasonable which made it a better financial decision for us. We contacted Unlimited a few days later and told them we accepted the proposal and within 4 days the technician was installing our equipment. He was very experienced and careful with the installation. He cleaned up after each install, so there was no mess after he finished. The day following the install, the company owner returned and walked us through the system and app, answering all of our questions. From the moment we met her we felt secure and comfortable with trusting her right off the get go. What was most important to us was knowing what we we're getting in a security system and knowing how to use it. Linda took the time during the consultation to explain what we we're getting in very clear form. Then the day of the installation Linda visited to made sure things we're running smooth and to navigate us through the system answering any questions we had. She then made another visit to our home since we we're not reading the instructions. She explained the system to us in very basic form. I loved these folks from the start. They are local. They're responsive. A real person answers a phone when you call. That same person even met my uneducated alarm-needing self at my home/office when I needed to walk through the process slowly. They were great. But then, just a few months after my alarm was installed and surely before it should have happened - I had a problem. The batteries on my window sensors were going dead. I called. Got to talk to the nice people and (here's where I really became a raving fan) they suggested that they come out and replace all my window batteries for me with free new ones. The installer was great. He worked fast; he didn't interrupt our busy work day; and he offered to show me how to install the batteries in the future. I took him up on that offer, too. Now, I will no longer feel helpless when the monitoring center calls to let me know a battery may be having trouble. Best experience ever. My husband and I moved to the area at the end of the summer of last year. After doing some research on security companies, we found this gem and I am so thankful we did! The peace of mind we have is absolutely priceless. Linda is on top of it. We have three dogs and they were terrified of the sounds the alarm made initially as you were turning it off and on- basic every day functions. We called and asked if there was anything we could do so they would stop freaking out. Sure enough, they were able to program it so that it doesn't make those sounds and operates silently! And I am completely guilty of having accidentally setting the alarm off before. They call IMMEDIATELY. There is no delay. Their response time is so fast! And when that alarm DOES go off- it is SO LOUD. It would certainly draw attention and scare off potential intruders. I just referred a new Nashville home buyer to them today! I researched every home security service provider in the nashville area. When I say researched, I mean from the equipment offered to the owner of the company. I do not play when it comes to securing my family and neither should you. I called every alarm company there is in Nashville, TN. ADS security failed to call me back. Lee Company was outrageously over priced. CSS was way too cocky, saying I would call them back. I can tell you that I didn't, especially after I researched their equipment. Vivint, the reviews are flat scary! We had four break-ins in five days in our neighborhood. So having an alarm system installed and operational fast was urgent for us. I had no where to turn that was affordable, yet carried a quality alarm system. I knew I wanted a Honeywell Alarm System because they have been around a long time as a quality security equipment provider. I found a little article that featured one of the Unlimited Security trucks on News Channel 2's web page. So I dug in, and started researching as I do.... Unlimited Security is woman owned and operated, the owner is a local native to Tennessee, the company is also a local small business, the monitoring cost is super reasonable, and they carry Honeywell Security System products. I didn't hesitate to call. The first voice I got on the phone was Tony. Let me tell you, she is one of the most pleasurable people to speak with. She put me at ease straight away. Before I knew it I was scheduled to meet at my home with the owner Linda that very week! I was relieved!!!! Linda arrived promptly for our meeting on the day. She's a sharp lady let me tell you! I have never met a business owner that would spend real personal time getting to know her clients the way she does. She made all the difference in my decision to have a system installed. I had a system already previously installed hardwired and I wanted to use it and upgrade it into the new age. Josh the installer totally rocked that and explained it all the way through. Before he left he cleaned the area that he was working in so I wouldn't have too. A+ as an installer! Before Josh had left, Linda is at my door asking me where I want all the stickers and signs placed around the home. Can I just say one more time how amazing it is that the owner is putting her company stickers on my windows and doors! So, she and I sat for a while talking and let me tell you...you will fall in love with how down to earth she is. She won't try to upsell you either. However, if you want some extra goodies they are Unlimited in the options. So yeah we are all set and it was an excellent and professional experience through and through. Now I did "accidently" forget to turn off my alarm that very week and I set it off. Ha! You know how it is...when your dog has to go, they gotta go in the morning. The monitoring station was ringing my phone quickly. They were so calm and cool...even though I was embarassed and apologetic. Haha! I shared a laugh with the girl about what I had done that morning. Anyway, best experience ever. If your thinking about an alarm company for your home or business. Don't crawl on it, call Unlimited Security ASAP....they really represent Nashville in every respect. We had a system from Unlimited Security in our old house and were very happy with the service. When we moved there was a new system from a major alarm company already in place, so I considered just sticking with the system that was here. I called them and instantly realized what a mistake that would be! They were *much* more expensive and didn't have all the services that US provides. I called Linda and before I knew it, Chris was here installing a new system at no cost. He listened to us and made great suggestions based on our needs. So I just moved to Nashville and bought a home with an existing security system. The old provider was unresponsive to several calls to just transfer the existing service They wanted a 2 year contract for monitoring and they were expensive. I really wanted a locally owned company, but staying on the cutting edge of technology was important. I called several places and most wanted to charge to come out and look at the system to take over the monitoring or tried to sell me a new system (the current one is only 3 years old). Then I called Unlimited. I was glad to hear that they only had a one year commitment and there was no charge for them to come out to look at the system. Linda, the owner, came out the next day and said taking over the monitoring would not be a problem. No high pressure sales, hidden charges, or sales pitches for stuff you do not need and monthly fees are better than most. She even came out the day the technician was here to convert and test the system to ensure it was done correctly and review the system operations with me! Through small talk and discussions she invited me to professional networking events, and referred me to several other companies that I am needing services from. I honestly feel like I have made a friend, not entered a business arrangement. As we say in the South, "the proof is in the pudding!"
