    I've had vivint about 3 months now after my brother signed up and referred me to them. ADT was my previous provider, and vivint is a little more per month but for good reason. The sales rep and the technician were very professional and knowledgeable. I was paying $59 with ADT and just had basic security. Currently paying $69 with vivint but I have a full Smart Home (Smart locks, smart thermostat, and a garage controller) w a doorbell camera. The main reason I switched was because of their control panel, completely cellular connection and a faster response with their two way voice speaker so they can verify the emergency right away rather than calling me to verify. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend their service.

He was professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. He was on time for our appointment and the installation took less than 30 minutes. He did well working with my doorbell set-up that has an odd configuration. While he was at my home, he helped me with getting the Nest app on my phone and guided me through the set-up. I got 3 estimates before I decided to work with Stephen and he truly was the best choice! Please be aware there are some other companies installing Nest cameras that appear to be shady. Their knowledge on the best technology was invaluable. They were flexible with my schedule, worked to make sure my security and locks were set-up for my first night in my new home, making me feel very safe. They also set up my TV and made sure the wires were hidden, working with me on what the best option was for my home. They are perfectionists in the best way, making sure that everything looked great, cleaning up along the way and not leaving any garbage or mess behind. I can't thank Nashville Smart Homes enough, and can't wait to have them back to set-up Nest Thermostats. I highly recommend them for your home.

    I bought a home in March 2025 where the previous owner had Flex Alarms. We were told by Trent…read morePercival, as was the previous owner, that we could take over the remainder of their contract so they wouldn't be penalized. (March-Sept 2025; they had already paid for 2.5 years) They acted as if this was helping us both out. Then Trent would tell me we will be there on a day at a certain time without asking me first. I had to tell him 3 times that didn't work for me and he couldn't just tell me when he was coming. Once they showed up unscheduled at 7:45am and he texted me that the tech was here. I was leaving for work. 3 other times a tech, Zach, was supposed to come and didn't show up. The front door sensor was broken so it was silently setting the alarm off which wasn't even armed so the police came and multiple times we had to call them off from coming. Jim Anderson, the owner reached out to inform me that if I didn't pay, even though we never had service or even set the alarm, he would be turning me over to his attorney. I explained the situation and even sent him texts proving all this. He said they didn't do anything wrong and asked if we could reset. He didn't care about us or that we were told lies, misinformed, or were trying to help the previous owner not be penalized even though they moved 6 hours away! He has told me I'm not honorable, I'm not following through, and that I will be paying his attorney's fees and costs. Buyer beware!!
