I wish I could write something positive, but I've lost all confidence in Climate Pro. The owner, Rusty, really seems like a dependable person, but he was unable to stay organized. I was really cheering for him to deliver on promises that were repeatedly left unfulfilled. I had to stay on top of the process with Rusty the entire time. I am still waiting to hear back about warranty coverage. It's common for 2 weeks to go by and I have to follow up again only to be left with no response. I no longer trust that Climate Pro will honor any installation work. Rusty will tell you that he'll take care of all concerns and then not follow up or show up. When one pays over $7K for a new unit installation and duct work, there should be some guarantee of work and a responsive line of communication. My advice for future customers...If you really are compelled to work with Climate Pro, then I'd suggest you hold onto your money until every promise is fulfilled. Do not leave one thing undone, not matter how small. But be warned about the vacant promises... There can be no warranty for his installation work if he is not dependable. read more

The worst company I have ever worked with. It's been two weeks now and my AC is down. They keep giving me excuses because they can't come out. I will never use them again and they don't care about your health. I have a heart condition and I cannot take this heat, so here I am writing this and sweating. I think what makes a good company is not just how they communicate and execute a job, but also how they face miscommunication and set backs. Climate Pro was extremely prompt in getting back to me and hustled to put me on the next day's installation schedule so that we would have working heat before the winter storm. I was waiting for a call back on what time to expect a team and an updated quote to sign and never heard back that day, only to be woken up early the next morning by trucks in the drive way. When I called to say we hadn't signed the agreement and wasn't told when to expect anyone and that it felt unprofessional.... The owner immediately apologized, updated the quote, and even deducted a small amount from the invoice to express his honest apologies for the inconvenience (a gracious, professional, and appreciated response). It's easy to feel protective when multiple members of your family are high risk during a pandemic and you're wiping out your savings to pay for an unexpected breakdown of a large appliance and Climate Pro made sure we felt secure before starting the job, including wearing masks even while outdoors. They completed the new install and cleanly knocked out stone to reroute ductwork for a packaged unit in half a day, as well as disposing of any sign of the old unit. I genuinely appreciate the patience, communication, incredibly fast and clean work from this company and would recommend. The Good: Reasonable price; fast response; trustworthy; won't sell what you don't need The Bad: nothing The Narrative: One of my AC units was leaking significant water. I self diagnosed it as needing a cooling recharge (a$250 - $300 job) and called CimatePro (based on positive feedback from others) to do the service. I explained the problem and what I wanted done and they had Josh out the next day. Josh was on time (they gave me an exact time not a four or eight hour window) and he was very professional. Josh diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain pipe and flushed out the pipe to clear the clog. He then explained to me what I could do to fix the problem in the future and save a service call. The entire cost was $79!!! They could have easily performed the service I requested plus the pipe flush out and charged me four times what I paid. Josh and Climatepro have earned my trust and I will use them again. read more

Thank you so much to Rusty! As a first time homebuyer, having your AC go out (especially during a global pandemic!) is absolutely terrible. After weeks of waiting, I finally called and spoke with Rusty. I had someone from another company come out and look (they charged me $70 and quickly told me I needed to replace my entire unit and quoted me an insane price) but Rusty wanted to make sure that it was absolutely necessary to replace the unit. He explained everything he was checking out and also helped me with a few other things (replacing my smoke detectors that I couldn't reach) while he was here. He even got on the phone with my dad and explained everything so I could make the best decision. I really appreciate when people go the extra mile, especially when they don't have to. My AC went out over the weekend during one of the hottest weeks of the year. I called Climate Pro on Monday morning at 7:30am and Rusty was amazing to chat with! He got a technician named Josh out to my house by 9:30am to fix everything. Not only did Josh quickly find the source of the problem, even when there was no obvious issue at first, but he made sure to show me the problem, give me solutions, and not try to upsell me. I recently moved into the house, and he even pointed out that I had an air filter in the basement that I had no idea existed! These guys are GREAT. I called first thing in the morning for someone to come look at a leaking AC unit and within 2 hours, Josh was at my front door (and fully masked for my safety, which was above and beyond). He quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a clear diagnosis, and knocked the repair right out. Recently, I requested Climate Pro to perform a routine seasonal check on my 2 units to which the manager, Rusty Gibson performed. First and foremost, he worked around my schedule to provide service on a Saturday morning at 7am. He took the time to detail every action necessary to complete the service to which went beyond what my normal services had included in the past. He also took an opportunity to discuss the best manner in which to be efficient with temperature settings and was able to detail specifics surrounding Nest thermostats. Lastly, he took the time to test an electrical fan issue that I was having to which I was surprised to learn that this team also provides electrical services to include indoor and outdoor lighting and Nest video alarm installation. To a female who often times finds it challenging to find a trustworthy company to fulfill these type of home maintenance items, Rusty is definitely a diamond in the rough! read more
