My original quoted price and equipment package changed the moment the technician arrived for installation. On top of that, I was informed of additional fees that were never disclosed upfront--including an extra monthly charge for DVR services that had not been mentioned at any point prior. I was led to believe I was getting a complete system at the agreed-upon price, and that simply was not the case. Despite this, I gave Vivint a second chance. After speaking with multiple managers and account representatives, I specifically requested a clear, itemized breakdown of all equipment and costs before proceeding again. I was told this would be sent to me. It never was. Follow-up messages were left on read, with no response. That lack of transparency and accountability sealed the deal for me. If this is the level of communication and customer service provided before installation, I have serious concerns about what support would look like afterward--especially when it comes to something as important as home security! Very disappointing experience overall. Transparency and trust matter, and unfortunately, Vivint failed on both fronts.
