So unbelievably aggravating and unprofessional. I have two dogs and this is driving me crazy. The 3rd time I answered the door I told them I wasn't interested. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment due to misleading information, unexpected fees, and poor follow-through from customer support. My original quoted price and equipment package changed the moment the technician arrived for installation. On top of that, I was informed of additional fees that were never disclosed upfront--including an extra monthly charge for DVR services that had not been mentioned at any point prior. I was led to believe I was getting a complete system at the agreed-upon price, and that simply was not the case. Despite this, I gave Vivint a second chance. After speaking with multiple managers and account representatives, I specifically requested a clear, itemized breakdown of all equipment and costs before proceeding again. I was told this would be sent to me. It never was. Follow-up messages were left on read, with no response. That lack of transparency and accountability sealed the deal for me. If this is the level of communication and customer service provided before installation, I have serious concerns about what support would look like afterward--especially when it comes to something as important as home security! Very disappointing experience overall. Transparency and trust matter, and unfortunately, Vivint failed on both fronts.

The install went very well, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The value I received for the service and products I purchased was top notch. He didn't leave until everything was hooked up, working properly and all work areas were clean and tidy. He even took the time to go through how everything worked. Most would have just handed over an instruction manual and said good luck. He treated this job like it was going in his own house. Highly recommend!!
