To this day, months and months after we stopped working for them due to lack of prompt payment on projects, or payment at all, they still have not paid us. We consistently had to chase them for our money. Over and over and over again. We did end up finishing the plumbing on a large job that they started with us in Manoa, in which the home owner had to take over and finish on his own with the help of us subcontractors. It was definitely not ideal for him seeing that he had already paid them major money for work that was never completed, but after a certain point these poor Montage victims have no other choice other than take it on and get it done themselves. Montage continually shuffled me around between this person and that person when I would ask for payment on projects that we had already completed. I've since given up on even trying to deal with any of them. They are not professionals in the least. Bush league contractors for sure. No honor, no integrity, NONE. On top of that, they have no idea what they are doing in the field. Bunch of 2 week class certified project managers that have no idea what its like to be a real tradesmen. I just thank god we we're not deeper into any real money type projects with them because then I would have had to sick my lawyers on em. Save yourself the pain and anguish of giving someone a bunch of money for a project you may, or may not get completed. If they know they are in over their head, they'll abandon ship. If they know they are loosing money, they will abandon ship. And, for all of you would be plumbing contractors out there, hungry for a working relationship with a General Contractor. If I were you, I'd rather go surf or pass on this opportunity than take any work from these guys. It will start out ok, and then turn to total shit. I already know there is a guy that they were using after us who spoke to one of my employees, asking him if we had to chase money like he was at that time. Patterns never lie

He was quick to collect payments and then I wouldn't hear anything from him or the subs. I did hear through others that his subs were not being paid for the payments I made for their work. This as well as other things I observed and heard during the process, I would say are questionable business practices. If you want to continually follow up with him, take days off to sit home waiting for someone to show up, no responses to texts and calls, and having to call another contractor to fix the work that Montage did , then Gavin is your man.

Bryson knows what he's doing and has a solution for everything that was bad with our worn down exterior. We let the exterior paint deteriorate for too long, and now the house looks brand new. Prep work needed a lot, and Bryson was meticulous when prepping every surface including the gutters, overhangs, window sills, and worn areas requiring extensive work. Pressure wash, caulk, fill, and sand. Then some repeated to make things look new again. He's genuine and does what he says he's going to do. No skimping. He uses quality Sherwin Williams paint that is expected to last. Paint is sprayed, rolled, and brushed and looks flawless. Man....such a difference! And of course, his estimate came in at around the mid-range compared to others. Completely worth the money. Hire B&B! Hi, so I just did my laundry since the work was completed last week. After I did my wash, I…read morenoticed that my clothes were hot - I never do hot washes. I opened up the washer dryer plate to look at the lines. Luckily, I wear mostly the same colors so no clothes appear to have been noticably ruined at this time. Sure enough, the cold and hot water lines were reversed, despite being clearly marked on both the lines and the machine. Im uploading a video of this now. I didn't think to check this at the time that they came over to fix the other things mentioned in my first post. I don't have technical skills in these areas - that's why I hired someone. If you decide to get work done from this company, I highly suggest double checking their work where possible. I'm not going to remove a star from my original post because the main job was the flooring - and my original rating was 3/5 because of my anxiety that things may not have been done right and rushed ... this update further supports that the job appears to have been rushed... Or at least not double checked at the end before they were done.
