I love this location with a passion !! I am a fan for diners. This is truly one of MN'S hidden gems. They also are super convenient because Minnesota lacks in restaurants open late at night. ESP @2AM!!!! Mind you every time I come here its the same 2 chefs sending out delicious platters of food. They have never disappointed me in the last 2 years of coming here. Service here is also top notch. Even when restaurant is crazy busy the crew has great customer service and are very attentive to the guests. This could not get any better!!

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. I highly recommend the Original Bagel Sandwich--an everything bagel with bacon, American cheese, and a fried egg--paired with Oliver's hash. The hash has outstanding flavor and is truly a standout. Another favorite is the Scrambler (scrambled eggs with bacon, scallions, mushrooms, peppers, aged cheddar, and Oliver's hash underneath). Again, the flavor is excellent. If you enjoy a little kick, be sure to ask for their homemade hot sauce--it's terrific. I believe the ketchup is made in-house as well, although it's not quite to my taste. My one consistent disappointment with breakfast is that the menu never changes. They don't seem to offer specials, and I would really love to see new items introduced--whether occasionally or seasonally. Adding some variety would make an already great experience even better. I've considered going for lunch, but the current menu doesn't quite draw me in. I tend to go to specialty places for pizza or tacos, and while I'm sure the soup is very good, I can't justify $17 for a bowl. There are burgers and sandwiches as well, but nothing that really stands out to me. Again, introducing lunch specials or rotating items would make a big difference and likely bring me in more often. The atmosphere is excellent--comfortable, inviting, and full of charming little nooks and crannies, along with bar seating. If having a booth is important to you, I recommend making a reservation.

(We had already tried the standard burger at a pop-up they had done and it was amazing.) The food was fantastic! It might look like slightly smallish portions but it really was plenty of food and really tasty. The flamethrower burger was very spicy, which is a nice change from burgers that just put a spicy mayo on or something. This had layers of deep heat and you get it from the second you bite into it. It's not the kind of obnoxious heat that makes you cry and struggle through in pain, though. If you like spicy food, you'll love this burger. The pickle burger was my favorite. It has pickles, pickled red onion, and creamy dill ranch. All of that balances out the richness of the beef. It's such a great burger. The kids burgers seemed to be full size but we're just a simple cheeseburger. The fries portions were on the smaller side but not too bad, and they tasted good. The tots were great. Drinks are canned soda or bottled water. They do have some beer also. It's all counter service, so you can take it to go or sit at the tables outside. But they also have picnic blankets hanging up that you can use to sit on the grass in some shade. Be aware that this is NOT fast food, so you will have to wait a little bit for you food, especially if it's s busy. But it's not an unreasonable amount of time. Compare it to ordering and waiting at any sit-down restaurant. Overall, this is amazing food for St. Croix Falls. We live walking distance away and will probably visit frequently!

While it's a small little place with walk up ordering and with only a few outdoor seating, the food packed a punch. I'll start with the main event. The flamethrower burger was delicious, just mouth wateringly delicious. I wanted another immediately. It's got the heat as would expected but it's manageable, by no means is it that obnoxious heat. Patty was hot and juicy with melted cheese and crisp yet soft bun. Man now I want another. Curds were as expected. For some reason they covered them in salt after they are pulled from the fryer. Now that may be a local thing since curds are the state staple. However it was just overwhelming with salt. Flavor was there so I'd order again would just ask to hold the salt. Same goes for the onion rings. I'm picky with my rings but the breading was nice. Not too thick and not to thin. Nice flaky batter again heavy on salt. I would most def stop here again for a burger.

When I go to new cities, I typically seek out food that is specific to the region and thus a little more interesting to me. You can get a burger anywhere, and a cheese filled patty, aka a "Juicy Lucy", didn't sound like something I needed to try. But my husband kept talking about it and really seemed bent on having one so we decided to come here to try it out. We showed up during their happy hour, from 4-5pm, and they had $5 draft beers. Score! It's a cute place with ample seating, nice natural light from the large windows, and a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Juicy Lucy, a burger patty stuffed with cheese and topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and pub sauce. I chose the Impossible patty version, but you can also get it with their house made black bean burger. Hubby chose the Garlic Girl, a black bean cheeseburger topped with bacon (also made in-house), berbere aioli, lettuce, and pickled onion. Each burger came with fries. Both burgers were spectacular and delicious in their own way. The bacon on hubby's burger was incredible, and his burger was rich and satisfying. By my Juicy Lucy, oh my...
