Another chock full crammed store; neighborhood lingerie stores are not known for their luxurious atmosphere- you go for the no-nonsense help and the voluminous merch. If you want fancy with questionable experience you go to a department store. But I digress. This was our second stop of the day and Rose- the owner was lovely despite how busy she was and how harried she could have been- I give her a lot of credit for keeping her cool under trying circumstances- she was sweet as could be with my 4 month pregnant daughter starting to feel woozy on our 2nd stop of the day she brought us lots of choices- a few she could bring home right away and two that needed a touch of (included) alterations. Prices were moderate- not inexpensive but not overly high and she got her full attention once she got started. I would definitely recommend this shop for hard to fit women and maternity in a hot minute for selection and top notch fitting.

I vowed to visit the shop next time I was in the area, and last weekend, I made good on that promise. First of all, the shop itself is adorable. I feel like I'm in a friend's house, looking through her closet. All of the merchandise is so thoughtfully created and intricate. It's all great and it's all special. Be not afraid of the higher priced handmade pieces. There are affordable panties and bralettes etc. priced for any lady to treat herself. Besides lingerie in lots of sizes, they also have bathing suits and accessories. The customer service I received here by the owner and her team was exceptional. So welcoming and warm. The owners Susie and Sonia and the adorable French salesgirl, Melanie, are all warm and charming and genuinely excited about lingerie. While there's a lingerie boutique's lack of reserve, there is no snobbery, no disinterested manhandling a la Town Shop or rather humiliating appraisal as at Orchard Street Corsets. It feels friendly rather than exclusive, completely comfortable and very relaxing. Don't let her youth fool you- she knows her stuff. After taking measurements and listening to what she was seeking (my 4 month pregnant daughter) she went to work bringing selections and on the first try -which almost never happens as my daughter is very narrow and large cup size- she she brought the first miracle- and it was so pretty at that. Fit her like the proverbial glove and it was wireless! The price was reasonable and though it required a few tucks of the straps- that small alteration was included in the price, to be ready the next day. She came out with several other options and among those was another winner- this one was wired but also proclaimed very comfortable- something that made my daughter very happy (and the grandmother-to -be so happy to hear that going to Borough Park for maternity bras turned out to be the best possible suggestion of the day.) I also availed myself of this wonderful opportunity and happily came away with a very comfortable one myself - for $50 - this wasn't no internet bra.
