1 star for lousy customer service and poor business practices!…read more I called this company because I found a tank and panty set I liked online that they wholesale and wanted to know where I could buy it. I asked for the names of some companies I could contact and was given "JC Penney but I am not sure if they even sell them anymore." After that is where it got really weird. When I asked for other companies, I was told "I am sorry we do not give out names of our clients." Really, so the companies you sell to have a potential customer who wants to buy their product and you prevent them from spending their hard earned money and filling their coffers. If I were your vendors I would fire you and buy somewhere else. Very narrow minded if you ask me since ultimately I am buying YOUR PRODUCT. Duh! Every company I see on the internet shows "Where To Buy" on their website except apparently you. Hopefully one of your potential vendors will read this and think twice about buying/carrying your products.

They are my go to fashion distributor every season before I look at any other lines. I'm also ultra excited to see each new collection. Once I was in NYC and asked them on short notice if I could have a look at the Fall/Winter line in the showroom. They were so accommodating. I always call them to get updates on the new collections, but this season I was busy with other things and forgot. To my surprise the new Spring line is available and the prints are sophisticated and chic. I must say that I'm impressed. My customers love ready to wear that is easy to wear and to care for. This company provides that. The prices don't break the bank for small businesses like mine. I love this company and really can't say enough good things about our relationship. The thing I love the most is the combination of the cut and the ease of the fabric makes the garments wearable for almost all body types. THANK YOU. ~Inga

Mind you, she's stuffing her face while on the sales floor and could not be bothered. The sales woman proceeds to respond in an unsavory manner and then turned to her colleague and muttered something along the lines of "I hate when people ask these questions. Why does it matter to you anyway? Just mind your business". This socially inept crass individual lacks customer service skills and should not be the face for the store. The homeless man eating a hash brown and hanging out was more polite and accommodating than she was and therefore I will not be shopping at this location. Not sure how this location will stay afloat with such rude and ignorant people working there but if I was the owner I would invest in more friendly associates.

Later that night I ran into him with mutual friends and inquired. That was the beginning of my friendship with George (S.I.P) and with the store. Upon arrival I was met by this stunning black woman wearing a huge smile and draped in an ensemble of prints and textures. Everything she was wearing were from her store and I wanted all of them- but I couldn't afford it so I bought one piece; the classic Nikki dress in yellow. That summer I wore that dress at least 10 times and every time I did, I'd get a million compliments. Debbie had a sale and ran to get more pieces namely the Audra Kimono and another Nikki dress in print. A year later, Debbie had a stall at BAM Dance Africa and I grabbed a couple more pieces. Folks would pile into the shop everyday to stop and chat with Debbie, purchase signature kimonos, dresses, tunics of the brightest, boldest prints, catch a vibe when the DJ was there on weekends or simply just to hang out. It was that neighborhood spot. We had many friends in common and so it was always fun to spot each other #martinedreaming As the store closes and Debbie transitions to the next leg of her journey; I wish her nothing but the best and know that her and this shop will continue to evoke joy whenever I see someone wearing her pieces and is reminded of how much of gem this post was.
