Today is 11/24/24! Black Friday. The line is I guesstimate to be 1 hour plus. I enjoy the face products and some of the make up ... but I'm not sure how long I'm willing to wait. In fact I'm writing this review as I stand in the line. Your thoughts? read more

Brought friends visiting the island to this shop. We were helped by the staff who answered our very specific questions. There were quite a few brands to choose from for a variety of skin types. My friend's teenage daughter had acne prone skin needs and we were given high/low options. My friend wanted something anti-aging. I was looking for a more stringent toner. I highly recommend if you are wanting to try Korean skin care. read more

Good products Good helpful sales people. Store is so well organized to find the right products. Sales staff very good

What a great shop! And the two beautiful women who were working 8/26 were absolutely amazing!!! Definitely a stop when I'm on Oahu

I like it here. It kind of scared me at first because the store is very bright and my clothes are very black - like my soul so I look like a robber ready to rob the store with my black mask on. I highly recommend the Dr. Belmeur line that they carry as well as the acne patches from the Belmeur line. It always pisses me off when it is sold out but I guess everybody knows what's good I GueSs - but save some of those patches for me ugh. The Dr. Belmeur serine also works wonders for shrinking your pores to give your face a smoother complexion. When I go in there I just say where is the orange thingy? The orange bottle thingy? Just ask for that too. read more

Small store near bus stop and parking lot in Ala Moana. Most popular items are available. Currently there is a few combination reduced price items near the front, but nothing crazy. The staff is friendly. You cannot touch any of the products at this point due to covid. They'll give you samples for things you want to try however they're pretty stingy with it. I asked to try this shampoo and was given a sample in a tiny eye cream jar with barely anything in it. She can see that my hair is thick and long, my mask ain't hiding that... How am I suppose to wash my hair with so little sample? I recommend developing standard sized sample packets to give to customers since it's covid and you won't allow anyone to try anything on. Trust me, the products work , I just wanna try before I buy. read more

I went shopping at this location and the entire time I was in the store the associate working was watching me as I was shopping and stood close to me. As a retail worker I understand if this was happening bc she thought I was stealing but as I was in the store I kept my hands held together above my chest because I could see that's what she was getting at. Yet to make a judgement of stealing as soon as I got in was ridiculous. Then the one time I touch an item, I grabbed then put right back. I was with friends and felt uncomfortable. Yet as my friends shopped I told them I was going to go to another store in the area. Yet as soon as I left she tried stopping me but I was a little to far out the door and then tried asking if I stole the items to my friends , because the item I grabbed she didn't see me put back. As a side note, I was the only Hispanic person with my three Asian friends. Yet she didn't give my friends a hard time. Personally I won't be shopping at this location again, I will stick to going to the one in Kahala mall. read more

I came here pre-covid in search of a good under eye cream. Oddly enough, the sales lady gave me a sample of the Dr. Belmeur Cica Hydro Cream. It's odd because she gave me the face cream instead of the under eye cream. Anyway, it came in a tiny container. Luckily a little goes a long way and that tiny sample lasted several months because Oahu went into lock-down due to Covid. I came back as soon as restrictions lifted, but before the second lock-down went into effect. It was during that visit when I found out that my sample was for the all-over face cream and not the under eye cream. However, since I was already using the Cica cream for my under eyes and it worked really well for me, I continued to buy the same cream even though the sales lady kept trying to convince me to buy the eye cream in conjunction with the face cream. A year later and I'm almost done with my first Cica Hydro Cream container. So, it was serendipitous when I received an email right before Memorial Day weekend advertising 20% off on their Dr. Belmeur line as well as other brands that they carry. I hightailed it to Ala Moana on Friday morning to avoid the Memorial Day crowd. They were out of the Cica Hydro Cream, but the sales lady took my information down and promised to call me once the cream is in stock again. Sadly the 20% off was only good for that weekend and will not be applied when said cream is back in stock. The reason for the 4 stars as opposed to 5 is due to the fact that I wish she would have mentioned they have other locations. Had I known there was a Face Shop closer to my house, I would have stopped by that location as well. Or, she could have offered to call the other locations to see if they had the cream in stock. I didn't realize they had multiple locations until 1 week later when I was telling my friend about my wasted trip to the Face Shop. She asked me why I drove all the way to Ala Moana when there's a face shop in Aiea. Uggh, where was the information when I needed it?! read more

Exfoliate??....Exfoliate!!....What happens when you exfoliate? While every women knows the meaning and luckily half the guys....maybe.There are more guys who will raise their hand and go I know I know what that means!! "It means to blossom!... like a flower?' ...BAAAAP!! Wrong Dude! Wikipedia: Exfoliation involves the removal of the oldest dead skin cells on the skin's outermost surface, and has been used for many years to help maintain healthy skin. The Face Shop is located in Ward Warehouse next to Pictures Plus was first introduced to Hawaii in late of "2011" and have three locations in Honolulu. In total TFS has close to a 1000 stores around the world. Entering this immaculate, well organized store I was greeted by the three employees working with friendly smiling faces and immediately asked if I needed help. I guess the women to men ratio coming into here to must be 50:1 ,but I do know that I have fellow Male Yelpers that have written reviews for TFS and are fans of this store. The pretty staff member that helped me with all of my questions about facial care and of course those typical guy questions."Oh what does that do?" Really?? "What about this" Really?? Wowz! I'll take it! ...I'm such an easy sell. Well maybe not, but she did help me find products I came into this beautiful store for. She answered all my questions without any hesitation or doubt and yeah maybe I did leave here with an extra item or two. (Even scored some free samples) I definitely left here a little more knowledgeable about skin care products. I'm very happy I chose The Face Shop for my facial care needs and leaving here I heard all three of those pretty smiling faces say "Goodbye" and "Thank You Very Much". You have to love being on the minority end of that 50:1 and shopping here. *Don't forget to sign up for their rewards card. read more

ASHLEY, YOU'RE AMAZING! I was on the hunt for a new facial moisturizer... Ashley was so nice and welcoming when I arrived. She asked me what I was looking for and I explained to her that I wanted a moisturizer but my face tends to be sensitive. She pointed me to the Gentle emulsion, which was geared towards people with sensitivity. She let me try the product and it felt nice and had a very light scent. I explained to her that I bought a skincare line from the Face Shop, a few years ago, which gave me a bad reaction. She was kind enough to make me a sample of the Gentle emulsion, that I purchased, to try at home to see if I have any reaction to it. I thought that was thoughtful and going above and beyond because she didn't have to do that. Thank you so much Ashley! read more

Shhh, I just infiltrated the secret society of beautiful Korean women!!! All their beauty secrets are in this little store in the McCully shopping center. Don't be fooled by the size of the place, this store carries everything a Korean woman needs to look beautiful. WHO? This store is geared towards Korean women, or those of us who wish we had beautiful skin like them. Ever notice that the mama-sans on those K-dramas look like they are the same age as their 30 yr old daughters? Ever wonder why a certain angry Korean woman looks like she isn't a day older than 29 even though her daughter has got to be in her 20s? Ever wonder how come you never see ugly Korean women? Yeah. Me too. I think they must use some of these products... WHAT? Your'e not Korean? Neither am I, but I'm pretty close. I don't speak Korean either, except for bul go gi and bi bim bap. WHY? Because I want to have flawless skin and be all sexy and beautiful like the bitches on those K-dramas too! WHERE? McCully Shopping center, next to Phuket Thai. I usually avoid this shopping center if at all possible. But today I snuck in through their front door to check out all their secret creams, lotions, makeup, and hair products which used to be only available in Korea or online from www.thefaceshop.com up until last month. LOOK OUT FOR A SECOND STORE IN ALA MOANA LATER THIS YEAR! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Cvb9KTdqJAK9aQao4ruoLA?select=vFr1LQDubCU71CA7iBbgEg HOW? These products are pretty cool. My favorite so far is the BB cream. $28 MAGIC COVER BB Cream/SPF20!! What does BB mean? I don't know because I don't know how to read Korean. Maybe Beautiful Bitch? It "covers fine skin flaws through dense coverage...and adheres to the skin to help make-up last for an extended period of time". I'm not getting any younger so I need all the help I can get. This product is AWESOME. I have huge pores, uneven skin, and (gasp!) fine wrinkles, and this cream does some magic. Choose between Light beige or Natural Beige; if you have dark/olive skin, this might be too light for you. I put my makeup on OVER this cream so it works out just fine for me. No wonder this is one of their top sellers. It's a good cream but don't expect miracles! http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/Cvb9KTdqJAK9aQao4ruoLA?select=iYfEllqkRRm1NBSM-hUqZQ There are tons of other stuff in the store too, check it out! Yo, I don't want anyone to misunderstand me but - 1. YES, I did walk into this shop. (Only to pickup gift cards for my friends). 2. I have no clue about any of the products they sell here, nor do I care. 3. I am not one of them - "Metro-Sexual" dudes that try to pretty themselves up, or try to look like a Korean movie star. 4. No amount of crap that they sell here (could ever pretty myself up), because you can't fix ugly! Lol! Anyways.........I basically came in here to buy a few gift cards for my lady friends. And if I am correct............."chicks dig this store?" I must say, there is ample parking at the McCully Shopping Center so the access is very easy. And may I say that the girl clerk who was helping me, was very helpful in hooking me up with a few gift cards. I also wanted to say (and I don't want to sound like a perv) that she was "easy on the eyes - if you know what I mean!" Lol! But I guess if you work here, you would have easy access to their products. Lol! read more

If you've ever seen those Face Shop commercials with the black-suited Kim Hyun Joong laughingly asking a slender wisp of a girl, "Am I too perfect?" you'd be racing to the store in search of BB cream as perfect skin is a woman's weapon. So the ad says, so it must be true! In search of perfection, I was among the throngs of customers packed like sardines in the newest Face Shop location at Ward Warehouse for the 20% off special this grand opening weekend. The bright interior, organized aisles of beauty products and pumping K-pop music is just like its predecessor at McCully Shopping Center. It took about 45 minutes to traverse from the front door to the cash register, standing in a snaking line that took me through every aisle so I could see every product -- facials cleansers, moisturizers, masks, facial mists, foundations, powders, BB creams, nail polish, body cleansers, hand lotions, hair care products, colognes, men's products and beauty tools. Picked up some Christmas stocking stuffers: cherry blossom hair mist, perfumed hand creams (in cute kitty cat containers), rice bran foaming cleanser, Neo Aqua Toner (man gift), and for moi, the moisture pore balm. If I had room in the tiny shopping basket, I would have also picked up my favorite brightening cleansing oil and a bottle of the Arsante Eco-therapy moisture tonic. Happily, this location also shells out a nice selection of samples. This time, powder perfect BB cream, magic cover, waterproof BB cream, aloe gel cleanser and even a pomegranate face mask. Score! Even without the discount, Face Shop products run the gamut of price ranges so you can find something to suit both your beauty needs and budget. I'll definitely be back, hopefully no long lines! read more

The clerk was a very helpful and friendly gal. She seemed like she enjoys her job and helping people. I would shop there again.

Get ready to do your happy dance! The Face Shop has skin care, cosmetics and all kinds of other goodies -- everything seemed to be reasonable priced. When I started getting pimples at age 13 is about when I began to worry about my skin. I used to have those really deep ones that required shots to get rid of them and also took erythromycin (penicillin) to attack them internally! :/ Back then, my forward-thinking bff Cherilyn L. had a very serious talk with me. She sat me down & counseled me about a value that's been helpful to me for the rest of my life. What did 12-year-old (hehe) Cherilyn teach me!? :) Simply: You can change your clothing daily but you just have one skin. That said, take good care of your skin! :) I had just finished attending John Robert Powers finishing school (haha that's a whole nuther interesting story lol) when she convinced me to try using the skincare line from Shiseido, a higher-end Japanese cosmetics brand sold at then Liberty House which is now Macy's. For the most part until I had kids, I used that same Shiseido brand day after day, year after year. It smelled wonderful & kept my horrible pimples at bay. Then about 8 years after having my second son is when I began to break out as though I were a teenager. Drats! That again!? I thought pimples cease as one got older? Guess not! I've tried a few other great brands (Noevier, Peter Thomas Roth, Neutrogena) even going back to Shiseido never really finding a surefire fix. One day recently I was on Yelp searching for food lol and happened to see Kim M.'s photos + review for this place. She's part Korean & so am I so I thought, "Hey maybe that would work!" but then some other food pic caught my attention & I completely forgot all about the place until more recently when Adrienne B. checked in and "Eureka!" I laughed with happy relief! "That's that place I think I neeeed!!!" is what I thought as I rifled thru the business photos which included Malia H.'s many! That day I resolved to stop by in the evening. McCULLY SHOPPING CENTER PARKING lot fronts the shopping center. There's also parking below but bc of break-ins, ppl don't like parking below. That day was the first time I saw a security guard stationed down below. There were quite a few parking stalls there but the stalls are pretty tight. THEFACESHOP - When I reached the store, I was immediately greeted by two cheerful sales people. They inquired if I'd ever been there before to which I replied, "No, but can you tell me about your products?" One of the salesgirls took me around the store. First she asked what skin type I have then immediately proceeded to show me what would help me most. I asked about skin care, facial masks, foundations, after foundation powders, waterproof eyeliners, & dark sun spot removal & creams. She said the products they sell are all natural & do not contain harsh products that even high-end products often contain. I have an oily T-zone (forehead-nose-chin) area & my skin is more mature so she recommended I try the following items: 1) CLEAN FACE BLEMISH ZERO, CLARIFYING TONER ($21) - Use first after washing face (w/my Neutrogena facial wash that I already have at home) 2) CLEAN FACE BLEMISH ZERO, CLINIC SOLUTION ($25) - Use after (1) 3) WHITE SEED, PURE VITAMIN 10% AMPOULE ($21) - Apply just a little; contains vitamin C that naturally lightens the skin, especially sun spots! 4) NATURAL SUN, SMART HANDINESS SPF 50+ ($31) - Twist the bottom to dispense the product at top; provides smooth coverage foundation; apply w/sponge/brush 5) THEFACESHOP SKIN BRIGHTENING UV PACT ($23) - Apply w/sponge/brush 6) MASKS: Green Tea & Mung Bean for cleaning pores; Rice for brightening/whitening - Apply after (1) before (2)! 7) Spot coverage - Use the palette that contains the spot coverage & under-eye circle creams 8) Waterproof eyeliner - Very popular item. They ran out but are expecting more to come in. They carry two types, a sharpen-only type (cheaper) & a twist-up crayon (pricier but less waste bc it does not require an eyeliner sharpener) BENEFITS OF NATURAL INGREDIENTS - It'll take a couple months for my skin to express the benefits of my new skincare products & I can't wait. I'm hoping it works out! Their prices are very reasonable (cheaper than other brands) plus I REALLY like it that they use natural ingredients which are also good for the skin! TRIAL RUN/SAMPLES - They'll give you samples of products if they have it available. I was about to have dinner with a friend so I asked her to apply the foundation & powder on me so I could feel whether they worked or not. They worked well that night! The foundation wasn't too heavy & provided a smooth finish :) Customers came in to the shop often but the salesgirl stayed with me the entire time. She was really helpful & did a great job explaining each of the products & how to use them. She also helped me select the best shades for my skin tone. Thank you !! Cherilyn :) if you're reading this: Thank YOU so much for our friendship & for always taking such good care of me. ((Hugs)) to you forever! :D Yep! I'd say: Give it a whirl! :) read more

I don't buy makeup or skincare products often, but I'd like to give a product shout out to the Clean Face Spot Clear Intensive Patch that beats the pus out of my whiteheads. The Clean Face Spot Clear Intensive Patch comes in a pack of 12 clear, circular stickers. It's transparent enough to wear during the day, but I'd recommend using it before you sleep. Basically, you stick one on your pesky pimple & after 8-10 hours, the patch literally sucks the pus out of your pimple. I'm always amazed by its effectiveness. I don't get whiteheads often, so one sheet for me can last well over a year, especially if you cut the circles in half if your pimple isn't that big. I happened to discover this miracle sticker by chance. The store is laid out well enough to find the segment of products you're looking for. The friendly sales associates are accommodating & may assist you in product demonstrations with the various testers available for virtually every product. They give you space to browse & are on hand to answer questions you may have. When I shopped here a few years ago, each purchase came with a generous handful of samples. In my most recent stop however, I've received just one. The Face Shop also has a free membership card program which allows you to earn a point for each dollar spent. After earning 100 points, you can take $5 off your next purchase. read more

So I'm gonna be the first dude to write a review for the Face Shop....and from a fella's point-of-view. I've never been to the first store in McCully Shopping Center but because of my relationship to Ward Centers, I was invited to the media preview and soft opening of this particular location. I mean honestly if it wasn't for that I probably would have never set foot in a store like this. The first thing that came to mind when i stood outside the store was damn this store looks really clean and damn if heaven had a store it would looks like this. Bright, lots of white and scattered with beautiful colors. Like thee perfect coloring book. I'd say 90% of the store is for the ladies and from what I understand the ladies all love their products so if you're looking for Xmas gifts or birthday gifts, fella's take note. The remaining 10% is either for the men or unisex. If you care about your skin or the anti-aging factor, you're going to want to pick up some of their stuff. We're talking face creams, moisturizers, toners the works. Laugh all you want, but when we're fifty and I still look like the thirty-year old... who's laughing now sucka? The best part about the things i got was the price. The store is reasonably priced for all of their products. I mean I've seen other stores with comparable items for twice as much, esp. for those "name brand" items. You're better off coming here and spending half the cost with the same quality. The service here is very personable as well. I didn't have a clue of what to get but I told the sales staff what I was looking for or what I wanted to do as far as skin care and they were right on it with suggesting things and pointing things out for me. read more

On our most recent trip to Seoul, my husband whispered to me, "They look like they never had a zit in their lives." It's true. You could be in any "dong" Myeongdong, Insadong, Samcheondong, and you'll be hard pressed to run into someone, any Seoulite with bad skin. Okay, so there goes my teenage theory when I blamed kimchee is my struggle with acne. In the land of KC, surely it is not to blame. In fact, in the hurry hurry "bpalli bpalli" Galaxy-wired culture, skin care takes top note, one that most Koreans will slow down to perform ever so meticulously. As my friend ConnieM pointed out, at least 7 steps and never ever blend downwards, always upwards with some slapping in between to boost circulation! Rituals aside, affordable, effective skin care is easily had in any streets of Seoul. So, it was with great joy and delight witnessing the arrival of The Face Shop right here on our own "dong". Automatic one star for just opening its doors here. In light of the BB cream boom across the US, its timing could not have been more pore-fect. Speaking of pores, two items which have permanently taken up residence in my medicine cabinet: Rice Water Bright lip & eye remover - perfect for cleaning up smokey eyes gone bad or erasing that stubborn 12-hour lipstick. White Tree Snow Vita Lightening Serum - my go-to AM serum - no, it won't turn you into Snow White but with milk protein, grapefruit, mango, boysenberry, this skin smoothie is literally food for your skin and you'll soon want to stock up on this item because if there's one thing about Korean cosmetics industry is that they are already onto the next BIG thing and if my last trip were any indication, that next big thing just might be that wrinkle eating snail cream or makkeoli-infused age defying lotion. I'll drink to that! read more

I've never been to their McCully location but I've heard great things about their products. After hearing about the opening of a second location in Ward Warehouse, I jumped at the opportunity to check it out for myself, since this location is much easier to access than the one at McCully Shopping Center (I hate their parking lot!). The Face Shop has a nice selection of everything from facial masks to nail polish. I bought a bunch of masks at only $2 each. Also picked up some non-greasy green tea hand lotion and Volcanic Clay nose strips for my hubby. I like that they have cheap products ($2 face masks) and expensive products (over $50). They have something for everyone for sure. It's hard not to walk out with something in your hand. The one thing that I'm surprised that they don't carry is a facial moisturizer with sunscreen. But otherwise, they have everything you need to make your face as beautiful as the Korean soap opera stars! read more

I am officially convinced that if you buy and use the products from here you will achieve the flawless skin that koreans have. (with a side guideline of eating kimchi once a week) I stumbled upon this store as my friends and I were heading towards Funpix. I've walked past it for awhile but I was always intimidated thinking that it would be unaffordable and I always figured that as long as I don't look, I won't be tempted. Yes this place is definitely like a korean Sephora but in my opinion its better because of the affordable prices and its not overwhelming like Sephora with their plentiful brands. This store is cute yet serious and I can assure you that something will catch your eye. Its almost impossible to leave empty handed. They carry makeup, moisturizers, cleansers, nailpolish, cosmetic tools, shower gels, perfume/cologne and more. They also have a point card (similar to sephora, hallmark, and all fancy stores) and its quick and easy to sign up! just gotta give your name address and ph number and you'll receive your card! Earn 100 points and you get some sort of discount. Service: Workers aren't pushy. They are also pretty helpful and will make good suggestions. I have my eyes on many products in this store so I will be back! read more

Love Love Love! I'm so happy that they brought The Face Shop to Hawaii! I remember going to this place in Korea and fell in LOVE! Specially because nowhere in Hawaii sold BB cream, well until recently that is. Now all kinds of American companies are carrying BB cream products. Before the only places I could get it was when I went to Japan or Korea! When I first went to the McCully location I thought it would be expensive compared to when I bought some of the products in Asia. To my surprise, everything was very decently priced! MORE LOVE LOVE LOVE! Lol. The employees here are great too! They are all very knowledgeable about the product they carry, which is important for any cosmetics company! They are also very kinds and patient with customers. Heard from the Facebook page that they are opening up a new location at Ward Center! CAN'T WAIT! read more

Bright, very clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff AND fully stocked brightly lit shelves of beauty products, what more can you ask for?! When you walk up to the store front you are immediately drawn to it. It's bright white lighting and sterile look mixed with the bright colors of the products acts as a force pulling you in..."come in, try me, BUY me!" I thoroughly love the products, albeit the instructions and descriptions are in Japanese the staff are more than willing to help. My go to products are the face balm, rice water eye makeup remover, hair spritz (refreshener) and I can't remember the name of the night cream, but omg, heaven! I used MAC's primer before finding the face balm and let me tell you $16 compare to $50 with the same results, you bet your bottom dollar I bought two face balms! Just a note, with the holiday season approaching the line gets CRAZY! Stock up on your necessities before then, I learned the hard way last year. So far this place is always a hit when it comes to quality products. The staff have been consistently friendly and helpful and the shelves are well stocked. The last couple of times I've been in I've seen new products that are visually appealing (I'm a sucker for packaging!) Boyfriend has recently gone with me and has tried the "Herb & Relief Homme Herb Cleanser" as well as the "Herb & Relief Homme Sebum Control Fluid" says he likes it. He also bought "Stylist Hairgel" for $5. I've tried the pomegranate paper mask (sample) left my skin smooth and soft. Oil blotting papers, mango & orange hand lotion, and the charcoal face wash (love it). The BB cream samples they gave me were really good, the natural beige actually blended in with my skin color (sorry for the initial assumption that they don't carry things for a nice espresso color). I really want the hand cream in the novelty packaging, blueberry, lemon, and apple containers. They also have hand cream in animal pots! Will be back. read more

She even took into consideration when suggesting things that I said my face doesn't like oils very well! She even would look over the ingredients to make sure there weren't any oils! It was absolutely a great experience buying from there. And their products are very well priced! I hope to purchase more from across the globe someday! read more

I've heard about their McCully location, but never made an effort to head down there because of the traffic. I was surprised to see the Face Shop in Ward and I had to check it out. It really is a beautiful store with a simple layout. Nail polishes, eye make up, blushes, and beauty tools are on the left and BB creams, foundations, lip sticks, and skincare is on the right. It's a little store with everything you need. I do feel a bit overwhelmed by the skincare section because there are so many options to choose from! My shopping experience was pleasant. I was greeted by the two workers and they are extremely willing to help you if you have questions. The prices are great and I have confidence that the product will last. I took a picture of the items I have: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-face-shop-honolulu-3?select=lPKj5yOi8BTfCokNPla6xQ#qfSA_ox92QcYm7NId199SA Face It Collagen Volume Mascara: $24 & it does what it says! Face it Auto Gel Liner: $13 it goes on smooth and it's a great eye liner and stays on Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam: $5, seriously? $5! I haven't tried it yet but I have high hopes Facial scissors: $4 I also bought their eye lash curler a while back and I love what it does to my lashes. I was probably using a bad last curler because my lashes never looked so good after I put on mascara! It's worth checking it out for yourself. I love how they have a point program, they also have a few skin care items for men, and they give out free samples! They actually gave samples of things I wanted to try but wasn't sure if it would work for me. I only wish they had a sit down station where the worker (or a make up artist) could try the BB cream on you to help you find your shade or try on the make up (like at Mac or Sephora). However, I'm sure the testers on the side of each item are sufficient enough. read more

The Face Shop - Face Shop Haul. Got free samples, including the face mask! - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I'm a Korean junkie! I love Korean food, Korean dramas and even attractive Korean actors including Kim Hyun Joong! And he's also the domestic and international model for The Face Shop. I just visited the Face Shop for the first time today, had a very positive experience and I have to say is - I WILL BE BACK! I went in expecting to not buy anything but I bought a moisturizer, a cleanser, BB cream and face masks. Hopefully the products will be worth my while. Ohhh, don't forget to open a membership card because you get points for all the money you spend. This location at Ward Warehouse is the second shop in Hawaii. Overall the store is decent! It's bright, modern, stylish and nicely set up with a good selection of Korean skincare and cosmetic products. This is why Korean girls have great skin! Tip: You should definitely visit this place at least once. read more

See all

Upon entering the store, Amy greeted me immediately and was able to help me locate my favorite cosmetics. She also introduced me to some new items that I might like. I'm moving to the mainland soon, so she pointed out items that may work better for my skin in that new, less humid environment. Our conversation was actually very fun and natural. Sweet girl. read more

I love The Face Shop! Tried more of their products and so far nothing has disappointed me. I just tried the foot mask which made my feet smoother in 20-30 minutes. My bestie, Marjorie C., got me the olive face wash and a mini pet hand lotion for my birthday. The olive face felt gentle on my skin. The mini pet hand lotion is moisturizing but not oily at all, and is so cute! On my most recent trip, I bought some face masks for my mom for Mother's Day. The store had a special where if you buy 10 face masks you get 10% off. I was excited for her to try it so I gave my mom her present early. She seemed happy and eager to try them soon. The customer service was stellar. The sales person was sweet and answered all my questions about the masks so I knew which ones would be best for my mom. I also forgot my Face Shop rewards card, but the cashier was able to ring up my information. To sum up, I love The Face Shop. You can find some affordable, quality products for much less than at Sephora and the customer service is excellent. read more

Came back today with my cousin. She gave me a bb cream sample she got from Nature Republic. I don't like to venture to Ala Moana too much, because it's difficult to find parking.... so taaaa-daaah! I came here. Parking was a cinch. I was welcome as I entered the store. The girl working was very helpful and insightful on which products to use/buy. Upon check out I was fiddling with the products at the counter and she was like "oh here have a free sample" it was one of the hair sprays that deodorize and makes your hair less oily & also handed me samples for facial products that went with the essence I purchased (to tackle acne) to test out the toner. How nice! I wanted to buy some face masks but I don't use those too often. My cousin said she wanted to go to Nature Republic so I held off on buying them -- she told me they were cheaper at N.R. The Face Shop sold them for $2/package. Overall, great experience, once again. read more

The Face Shop - The samples I received today. :) - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I guess you can never have too much of a good thing!! The Face Shop just opened their 2nd location at the Ward Warehouse. I would say this is a welcomed addition to Ward Warehouse! I mean, let's face it. Ward Warehouse needed a dose of "hip and cool" desperately! And what better way to do that than with skin care, make up & K-pop?!?!?! What can i say? This second location of The Face Shop is just as AH-MAY-JING as the first one. Great knowledgeable, friendly staff! Clean, organized space! Easy parking! Reasonable prices! Same great products as their McCully location. BB creams, masks, lotions, nail polish, hair products, beauty supplies and lots lots more!! And can't forget the "ear candy"! Always the newest and coolest K-pop is being played for your listening pleasure while you shop! My Testament: Since the opening of their first store about a year ago I've used a number of different products! Everything from face masks to nail polish to shampoo/conditioner. My FAVE product(s) would have to be their skin care items. I've been using the FLEBOTE V-lifting cream for about 8 months now and it is AH-MAY-JING!!! I started to notice a difference within a few days! I was never one to really care about skin care, but seeing the effects of this cream convinced me otherwise. I even started using it on my neck and, also, noticed a significant difference! This stuff is magic! And don't forget to sign up for their Face Shop membership card! Not exactly sure how it works but the points/credits seem to add up pretty quickly! Hope this helped, Yelpers!! Happy shopping!! read more

Firstly, let me just say that I am completely addicted to buying things from this place. The location is very convenient for me since I enjoy watching movies quite often and I can usually spare about 10 min to take a quick look at their products. The store is very neat and bright and has rows of products carefully lined up against the walls. The ladies their are extremely welcoming and always help me find the best products for my skin. And the best part is that you get free samples with every purchase! I like to try them to see if they actually work before buying the actually product. I have very sensitive skin and get pimples and rashes quite often. However, after using their blemish zero products for acne, their acne face wash, and their pore cleansing oil, my skin had become very soft with only a few pimples left on my forehead. My face has vastly improved and I will definitely be using their products for many years to come. read more

The Face Shop - My vast horde of face shop products - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I know there's the Face shop in Koreatown in LA, but I don't really have the energy to fight horrendous traffic or take two trains and a bus from LB. This was much for accessible cause it's down the street from Ala Moana. I'm a polish freak and I made a beeline for this section. They had a good sale for nail polishes. I wasn't feeling most of the colors but bought a few anyways. I also ended up buying a few face masks and other items. The prices are very reasonable. The sales lady was very friendly and even hooked me up with a few samples to try. She even offered to give me a frequent buyer card but I told her to give it to my sister since she lives nearby. I went during the week and it was not so busy. I can't wait to use my goodies! read more
