Ambiance- 4 stars Service- 5 stars Products- 5 stars I visited Tony Moly on Ke'eaumoku street last week and felt like a kid walking through a toy store. So many things I wanted like their facelift mask, but stuck to my plan and exercised discipline! First, this store is located on a very busy street. However, parking was not difficult! If you are visiting another shop like Tour de Jous in You Me Mart or Wal Mart, it's walking distance! When I entered, the sales woman greeted me and was very helpful when I asked her about the facelift mask and the sunscreen stick. She shared three different options of sunscreen sticks and informed me that one was on sale. So exciting ! I ended up buying the Green Tea cleansing wipes, the Sunscreen sticks and a pack of 5 Watergel masks to which I was awarded a free face mask I'll definitely be back soon. read more

Not sure if the younger girl who can speak Korean and English is the owner or owners daughter or manager or what but she is very rude and they always try to push sales. I've been coming here for a long time, enough times since they have been at this location, and only recently, like maybe since couple years ago? to present have I seen this girl. Anyway, I came here with my mom last week to buy some moisturizer, toner etc and right away, an older sales lady comes up to my mom and started showing her these bundles that are supposedly on sale that says they are worth $700 dollars? No way and for tony moly brand!? My mom just uses moisturizer and toners/emulsions so she doesn't need all the other stuff which was just cleanser and eye cream, and samples. That whole brand line, there is clear on that shelf that says BUY 1 GET 1 FREE promotion. So assuming what's on the shelf - it's for the whole same line on that shelf and it was only that tony moly line on that shelf. They were selling singles of the toner/emulsions bottles & creams and then a set that comes with both toner and moisturizer. You would think the set is also buy 1 get 1 right? So I asked the lady is this set but 1 get 1 also? And she said yes. I asked her multiple times and also my mom speaks fluent Korean and she asked the same thing to her and she said yes! Ok so we get that that was supposed to be valued at $139.99 but in the set it's $59.99 or $60 and a cream since it's buy 1 get 1 at $90. Mind you this brand and these products I found out after are discontinued and singles sell for about $30 if they are available. So their supposed value prices are marked wayy up making you think you are getting a deal so you can buy it. Anyway, the lady is ringing us up and charges us double or x2 for the set. We ask her again, isn't the set but 1 get 1 free? This time she doesn't answer. Both me and my mom when she speaks Korean. She hesitates and looks to the youger girl. Then the girl gives some excuse of an explanation saying INSIDE the set box you're already getting the buy 1 get 1 free deal when why is the set box priced as if you're buying two singles?? But I said oh but it clearly states buy 1 get 1 for everything on this shelf she gets mad and keeps saying no, in the set is already buy 1 get 1. Ok we were still going to buy it but she didn't want to admit their mistake and stood her ground blaming me for misunderstanding when they are confusing the cutomer. I suggested she could make it clearer but saying to put the set is not included and just the singles are buy 1 get 1, that's all she had to do was say okay yea I see how that can be misleading or something like that. Instead she got angry and said we can't buy and to leave. Fine by us but she would have still gotten our money, but not anymore. I didn't catch the price thing at the time but I'm letting you all know they trying to trick you into thinking it's a deal but you're still paying full price for it! I know for a fact they are also charging more in the actual price because I've seen the jar cream sell at less than $50 couple years ago and I just checked on popular verified shopping sites it's still less than the $90 they are charging. The jar cream getting the buy 1 get 1 deal here is the same as you paying for the value of 1 jar that's less than $50 else where but still it's not honest and doubling the price value of 1 jar to make the customer think you are getting a deal I don't like. Anyway so I think the young girl didn't want to admit their mistakes and didn't want us to catch the price mark up so she got mad and told us to just leave. Ok, my mom was till going to purchase it and you were rude to us! The young girl had a very dismissive attitude from the start when my mom was just asking questions about the product to her even in Korean. I've noticed why some Korean beauty stores don't really do well here and have all flopped and went out of business. This store also carries other Korean brands, not just Tony Moly. read more

I'm from California and visited this store a year ago after having brunch in the plaza. ms kim assisted me and recommended a hair oil and bb cream. i bought to test out and she was so kind to help me. i've been using those products TO THE BONE since then. i never wore bb creams bc there were always separation and finishing issues but this was my go to everyday. my first time back in hawaii since the last trip and i made this store my first shop to go to. sadly they were sold out of the bb cream i loved but i left with a whole bag full of products. the young lady that assisted me recommended so many great products and was so enthusiastic. i will be visiting here to restock and try new products everytime im in hawaii. love that they have testers available and great friendly customer service. They have great selection of products and the girl who work there gave me good suggestions regarding my concern. Looking cute... Tonymoly is located on Keeaumoku Street in Like Like Plaza and is a shop that I just can't resist to peek in every time I'm in the area. This little shop is packed with beauty supplies for skin care and make up all packed in the cutest packaging. Many do come here for the one time use facial masks but they also have them for your hands and feet as well so that we do look radiant from heat to toe. Though as I browsed further I noticed that they do have some items that target blackheads as well and struggling with that for quite some time decided to give it a try. They have so many wonderful gift sets making it easy for you to grab and go for that last minute needed necessity, and with lots of shared parking makes it easy for you to shop and shop and look good doing so. Shopping in Honolulu, Hawaii... After breakfast at YogurStory at the Like Like Drive Inn Plaza, my high school teacher, her friend, and I walked over to TONYMOLY to take a look. I told them that I enjoy seeing cute things and TONYMOLY has kawaii packaging! The panda, apple, and peach containers were drawing me in, but the bunny was the cutest! Uhg... I must resist! Last year, I went to the Pearlridge location of TONYMOLY and got some apple and peach hand creams for Christmas gifts - it's fun to bring a smile to someone's face! I didn't expect my former teacher or her friend to buy anything, but Fran got a sponge for her compact! Cool! My teacher was pondering over the tinted lip balm. Behind her back, I got one for her and gave it to her in the car as a surprise! She was really happy and the subtle color brightened up her face! She said that it felt light and smooth - that's good! Korean products like these are popular - maybe because of the Korean dramas on television. I'm glad that TONYMOLY is conveniently here, so, we don't have to go to Korea to buy products. I have some blemishes due to wearing masks with a rubber type separator between mask and myself. I formed white heads which is worst than blackheads. Whereas, the skin covers the pores. You have to treat it like acne. However, I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide which causes a chemical burns. I need salicylic acid to slowly uncover the pores and dry up and able for a bead like substance to pop out on its own. This store has a facial peel that peels dead skin and open up the pores. In other words, the peel controls more to form too! Most of their skincare has a peel in the store. That is important... But to balance, smooth, brighten face, and lightening of dark spots is Bio Ex cell toning peeling gel which has glutathione and Cristi***marine stem cells. However, glutathione should be taken as a supplement to increase or replenish our own body glutathione. Like everything else, our body breaks down cells as we age. Tony Moly is tucked away by LikeLike Drive Inn along Keeaumoku Street. This Korean cosmetic store is great and very popular in Korea. I love purchasing sheet mask here and buying cute skin care/cosmetic gifts for friends. However after my last visit, I think I'm going to stick to only skincare products. I am not very happy with the makeup at all. I purchased a cushion foundation (which I usually LOVE Korean cushions) however the Tonymoly one was one of the worst ones I have ever tried! This product has a weird white ring/circle in the middle and when you press the applicator on the foundation it actually creates a white ring/circle imprint and its basically like stamping circles all over your face and now you have to spend extra time blending in the product.. AND to top that off, this white ring causes the product to make your foundation on your face whiter. No one wants to walk around with a ghost face.. read more

My wife came to Tonymoly while I went to the bank next door to get some money out. Well, the money I withdrew didn't stay in my wallet very long! It's my fault. I said, "Hey, this looks like an interesting store!" Tonymoly is located right next to Like Like Drive Inn along Keeaumoku St. There's a decent amount of parking as well. This store is small, but jam packed with lotions, face masks, moisturizers, cosmetics, and etc. that are all in small, colorful, cute containers and packaging. Besides the face masks, you can pretty much test everything. The prices are pretty reasonable, and there a lot of discounts and sales on numerous items. The salesperson, Ms. Kim, was very friendly, delightful, helpful, and informative. She was definitely a pleasure to deal with. I fell victim to the cute pics and products as listed by my fellow Yelpers: apple hand cream in apple-shaped containers, tangerine hand cream in tangerine-shaped containers and peach hand cream in....yes, too many cutesy things, including a cooling eye stick in a panda lipstick-type container. Some items were 30% off for Valentine's Day, yay. I felt old in there, because the music that was playing was rife with racial swearing "n^%$a" and "f^%$ n^%$a". I could tell the young girl was trying to change the music when she saw me and another grandma walk in but it kept playing more cussing rap music. She finally gave up and let the obscenities stream, much to the delight of our virgin ears. I feel like swearing all of a sudden. Who the F#$% plays that kind of F%$#&g music in a F%$#@g cosmetic store?! F%$# this!! I'm not buying anymore F$$#@g S&^% from no F$^%&g store that plays F$^%&g racial rap music yo! This store is super tiny. Items are expensive, but I like the products that I do try. Like the green tea face moisturizer feels light, another face serum smelled super nice and still felt light even though it was layered on top of the green tea moisturizer. This cute little boutique is jampacked with Korean skincare and beauty products! I've been buying their cleansers for a while. they are located on Keeaumoku St near Likelike Drive in. What to expect: skin products that are actually GOOD for your skin. You want skincare that actually works? Go here. It sounds strange, but for reals the snail stuff is legit. Expect to ask for product samples if you have questions. Most of the workers let you look around until you have questions. Their skincare lines are also more on the lighter side. I am able to find my shade, but my tan friends, you may not find yours. Just ask. What I love: It's quality products for cheaper than Sephora price. My daughter was amazed of the selections they had and replenished her makeup tools and picked out a cleanser for herself. Another LOVE is their makeup line is so awesome. The original CC cream I got years ago was from this shop. Sephora and the other places had nothing like it. Plus their makeup has more SPF! Looking for makeup with SPF 45, yes they got it! Another plus is they have face masks that go for really cheap. When I went the sale was buy 5, you get 5 free. I've used them before and my skin has always felt silky smooth after. This review is solely about price. The SA was very nice but it smelled like something died right outside it permeated the whole store the day I was there Saturday on 1/21. I went to buy the octopus scrub but they were sold out. I bought the Tako pore mask instead and it was on sale for $21.99 so I got that. When I checked online, Amazon and the Tony moly website had it for $17.50 and free shipping. I understand if it's a $1 or $2 mark up for a small franchise but $4.49 mark up and it was supposedly on sale is a bit much. I'll be buying Tony Moly stuff direct from the company. read more

I heard about this place from fellow Elite Yelper, Kaliko. Her review on this place was HILARIOUS! Anyway, I was sitting out traffic and decided to check this place out. I was just there to peruse through their cute items and wasn't planning on buying anything in particular. However, when the older Korean sales lady asked me if there was anything I was looking for, I instantly blurted out that I needed foundation. I ended up buying their liquid foundation and some kind of foundation in a compact container. Both items matched my Asian skin tone very well and did not give me the orange hue I usually get with American brand foundations. After trying the products for several months, I realized that I don't really care for the foundation in the compact because it dried out easily. My only complaint with the liquid foundation is that the pump tube did not come with a straw. Therefore, it stopped pumping the foundation even though there's still a lot of liquid left in the container. I ended up unscrewing the cap and just started pouring the liquid on my fingers or makeup sponge. This process gets kind of messy and the cap doesn't screw on tight anymore. Although the cap is not secure, the liquid hasn't dried out and it's been over a year. Overall, they offer quality items at reasonable prices. I will definitely come back to buy other products. Location: Near Likelike Drive Inn and closeish to Keaaumoku Walmart. It can be difficult to drive there if there is too much traffic. Sometimes, I find it easier to park at Walmart and then walk over. Inventory: They have better sales than the Pearl Ridge location. Staff is super friendly and helpful by allowing me to try samples of almost everything. I came when they had their annual Black Friday sale and left with a lot of merchandise enough to last me for a year. Favorites: I love their Panda under eye sticks which are used to conceal your bags and brighten your eyes. I also liked their matte Panda powder which I use on top of my foundation. Korean cosmetic shops are slowly making their way to Hawaii, woo hoo! Tonymoly is a very well know Korean skincare and make up brand that sells everything from sleeping masks to gel eyeliners. I think it's owned by the same people who owns the Tonymoly location inside of Palama SuperMarket. Occasionally they have sales (20-40%), but even without the discounts, I would say the products here are still reasonably priced. I love the bunny tint lip gloss, paper sheet maks, nail polish and aura BB cream. They also sell CC creams! I came to Hawaii knowing that I had to stop by this place, and I am glad I did! I've been to the Walmart/Sam's Club across the street a hundred times but never noticed this little plaza across. I actually looked up the address and didn't realize that it was in a convenient location until I ended up in the Walmart garage by mistake. The store is a little small, but it is packed with plenty of inventory. I went in early December, so there were lots of gift options available. I liked how they made gift bundles in cellophane bags. This made selecting items for gift giving very easy for me. Even if the store is rather small in size, I was probably here for a good 40 minutes going back and forth- probably annoying the cashier, but she literally let me browse and didn't bother me until I went up to the register and was ready. You can find anything Tony Moly here, along with a few other popular KBeauty brands. The various hand creams with the cute packaging is a popular feature here, and they were on sale, so I bought a bunch to give out as stocking stuffers. My favorite items are the eyebrow 7- day tattoo pens which literally are made out of magic. Let me tell you- if my eyebrows can stay on with the humidity here, that means its good! Basically, anyone who uses Tony Moly knows it's hard to find because their US website is still in the works and you can only find some of their products at Sephora or Amazon. This store has EVERYTHING from Tony Moly and there was so many items that were either 20% off or had as a gift set (money saving moment). I seriously spent at least an hour in this store looking at everything. If only I bought more but my luggage only allowed me to buy so much. "I saw the sign, and it opened up my eyes. I saw the sign!" I swear, I did a double-take when I was driving up Keeaumoku and saw the store's sign. HOLY TONY MOLY is in HI! I seriously feel like I'm shopping in Myeong-dong with all these Korean skin care shops popping up all around Honolulu-Tony Moly, Face Shop, and Nature Republic. All we need is Skin Food and Beyond and I'm set. I've browsed around this store, but haven't bought anything yet. They had 20% off the store for 2 weeks for their grand opening. I think that ended the day before Easter. This store would be great for gifts, as everything is super cute, with packaging in the shape of some kind of animal or fruit. I was totally eyeballing the fruit hand creams and cute bunny lipsticks as gifts. The sales lady said that their face masks are popular because they're priced lower than the other comparable stores. But all the face masks at all these stores are extremely affordable, so I'd just try see what works best for you. As for my personal experience, you get what you pay for when it comes to skin care, and cheap masks don't really have any positive visible effects on me, whereas I've had immediate results with my Shiseido ones. Tony Moly is located next to Like Like Drive Inn and shares the same free parking lot. While you're in the area, go grab a drink from Bambu! I wish I could say I first heard about this store from one of my girlfriends it was my husband who first introduced me to TM and now I'm a fan. I think he regrets it but he doesn't complain too much when I drag him there to stock up on products...he just knew I would love those Korean facial masks...and yep he was right! We had to make a stop because I had been running low on their cleansing soap which I love and it doesn't dry out my skin. The sales associate working was super nice and friendly, but unfortunately it looked like she was using a pore cleaning pad on her nose, which I thought was a little strange. I guess she was promoting a product or maybe had an injury?!? I was too confused to ask her about it. So, the store is super small and can get crowded easily, this time there was no one in it so it was a breeze to look around and ask questions. She even gave me samples of a few products! I'm still not sold on their "snail" crème line but I've read that it's all the rage. As you can imagine, hubby was thrilled that I would be putting snail guts on my face!! Lol! Tony Moly is one of the many Korean brands available and their products range from relatively inexpensive to outrageous. Skincare, makeup, tools, haircare, fragrance, body wash and footcare, to name a few. Obviously, the higher end products are supposed to give the best results, so they say. The staff are EXTREMELY nice, almost too nice sometimes, telling you you look fabulous when you know it's not a good makeup or hair day! This seems to be their hook to build rapport and inspire spending! Good salesmanship, but I prefer honesty over niceness. They give free products with purchase and the more you spend, the better the free products get. You can also join their program where you receive substantial products once you have spent $500. It's based on cumulative spending so it doesn't hurt to sign up right away. Product information are written in Korean and English. They have cute containers in shapes ranging from pandas to fruits, and in bright vibrant colors. I bought some of them primarily to repurpose the containers rather than for the product. The higher end products have classy packaging, some in glass containers but mostly plastic. The face masks are a big hit, but you can go to TJ MAXX and find comparable masks at a fraction of the cost. There are store bought skincare lines that are also pretty good and inexpensive. People rave about the Tony Moly eggs, but I didn't notice any major improvement in my skin. The one product that I find myself reaching for most often is the Brightening Peeling Gel in the Floria line. I am not sure if the grains that are felt is truly my peeling/exfoliated skin. They say it is skin, but I wonder. I am still not entirely convinced that Tony Moly products are worth the money or hype. Time will tell and perhaps I will edit this review in the future. The only way to know if the products help would be to try it for yourself. If you can afford to invest in one of their pricier skincare lines, then do it. Oh! Forgot to mention. Tony Moly is currently advertising a "70% off sale". Well, when I asked what that meant, the salesperson said "everything in the store is 10 % off and up to 7 items makes it 70% off"!!!! Another exciting place to visit during my vacation in Honolulu. TonyMoly on Keeamoku st. This is next to LikeLike diner (but not the original location) Anyways, it's a super tiny store that specializes in Korean cosmetics and my sister knows the staff like ohana. Again, found some really good deals on polishes. Also bought some face mists, perfume body mist and some face masks to try. I am curious about the egg serums and other skincare stuff. The lady was very nice and gave us great advice on what to use. She didn't pressure us to buy anything. No stink eye, lol. I think the prices are reasonable compared to department store brands. Stumbled upon the Shiny Foot cream tube. Decided to try a little on my son's eczema. It seems that his skin absorbs this cream nicely. And effectively. Went back and bought 2 more bottles. Let me preface this review with the fact that I have always worked in retail and customer service, so I'm purely basing it off how I would expect myself to treat the business I'm working in and the customers I would be helping. I went to Tonymoly for the first time a few weeks ago with intentions of purchasing their Monsta X collaboration items. Unfortunately they didn't seem to have their lip tints, but they did have the set of hand creams, and the price wasn't inflated like I had expected. I was pretty set on purchasing the set, but wanted to browse around the store since I had never been there before. During my entire visit, the sales associate constantly hovered over me as if I was going to steal something. Look, I get it. Like I said, I work in retail too. But I had no reason to be suspected of stealing -- I had a tiny tote bag with my wallet inside and that was it. I get that a lot of these small stores do this kind of thing, but it's like...I work in a small business too and we absolutely do not treat our customers like this and it's just such an uncomfortable experience to be hovered over. The clerk kept asking me questions and tried to sell me things and I just don't believe in those kinds of sale practices. When I say "I'm fine, just browsing" the first time, I hope that gives them the sign that I don't want to make conversation. I left immediately because I just felt really uncomfortable. Then today, I decided I wanted to do some shopping and I was in the area so I headed to Tonymoly again. This time, I was hoping to look for the new Monsta X lip balms that were recently released. Except I couldn't even go inside the store because there was a sign on the door saying they'll be back. This usually wouldn't bother me but I waited around and the parking security guard kept looking at me as I waited so once again, I got uncomfortable and left. It was past the time posted on the door that the clerk would supposedly return too. Again, I get it, stuff happens. But I work alone at one of my other retail jobs too and no matter what comes up, I don't leave the store unattended like that. If we're supposed to be open, I'm going to be there to service customers. I will return to buy the items I intended to purchase, and if they carry any future collaboration items with Monsta X. My family and I were taking a stroll through Keeaumoku Street when I came across Tonymoly. Tonymoly is located in the same shopping center as Likelike Drive Inn. Tonymoly is right in between Yogurstory and Ross on Keeaumoku. When I first arrived, I did not really know what Tonymoly was or what type of products they carried. I expected the prices to be a little higher since Tonymoly is a Korean brand, but I was quite surprised at the affordability and price of their products. The associate at Tonymoly was super helpful. If you're a fan of Tonymoly, Korean beauty products, or just a fan of beauty products in general, you HAVE to come here! I first heard of Tonymoly through their face masks at Ulta and their limited collections at places like Urban Outfitters. I've been interested in their products since, but it's not always easy to find their stuff in the U.S. Imagine my delight when I saw that they have a sore less than half a mile away from my mom's place in Hawaii! The store is small but has a pretty decent selection of their products. I was really wanting to buy a bunch of their skincare products but unfortunately, I'm subject to airline restrictions on liquids/lotions. I swatched a bunch of their lipsticks and will probably buy some before the end of my trip to take home, as I loved the colors and pigmentation. I did end up buying a bunch of sheet masks. I can't really speak too much to the prices since I don't know the normal prices of a lot of their selection, but the sheet masks cost about 50% less than at Ulta on the mainland, so I bought a bunch! The makeup in general was priced a little less than I expected, and skincare was average priced. There were sales throughout the store (post-Christmas, but I have a feeling they do sales often) and lots of free goodies you can get, depending on your purchase. I went about an hour before closing and didn't face any crowds, so that might be a good time to visit if you want less people around! Last thing I'll say is don't be afraid of the snail products! First Impression: This store is so cute & quaint-as if TM didnt have the cutest products already. I came in to browse, but ended up getting their Argon Oil, tomato massage cream/mask, & 3 of their cute peach lip balms (2 for omiyage). The clerk was soo incredibly nice, & seemed super genuine imo. I had a lot of fun looking over everything, especially with the Kpop music playing in the background. Products: I am so satisfied with everything! The tomato massage/cleansing cream mask is so easy to apply, smells AMAZING, & leaves me skin feeling baby soft. The lip balm smells so good, i could just eat it! Totally does an awesome job at moisturizing. Last but not least, the argon oil is one of the BEST products I have used on my hair. My hair is super prone to humidity & frizz. I tend to stay away from oils as they can make my hair really heavy/too greasy. The formula is so lightweight, & smells amazing. I use it on my damp hair, & blowdry it to style. It smooths the cuticles of the hair, & leaves it super shiny!! Price: The price wasnt too bad, ~$50 for everything. The clerk there like I said was super down to earth, & didnt pressure me to sign up as a member, but recommended it, since every dollar spent is a point, & all you do is give them your telephone # (no membership cards to remember/lose). Bonus!: At the end of the transaction, she let me know I had accumulated enough points, & I received a free gift- a huge bottle of their ferment snail solution cleanser! 7.13.13. I was REALLY excited to find out that Hawaii had Tony Moly stores after I received some of their adorable bunny Gloss Bars from a friend. TM has the most adorable products!! Seeing them in person only upped the cuteness factor. There is a wide variety of Korean beauty products that I do have my eyes on...I might just have to come back :) The only downfall is that the stock seemed low--sad! I own a bunch of Tonymoly products that have been gifted to me by my sister and they are great! Currently I own their panda eye sticks, a tangerine hand creme, and the blueberry lip balm. I've also tried some of their food face masks too! I love the concept of food products being used in cosmetics, especially all their banana ones because who doesn't love bananas! Would give five star but the store was kinda small and it was very warm, didn't feel like it had A/C. Their products are a bit pricier than The Face Shop and it didn't appeal to me as much as at TFS. I do like their face masks though. In comparison to other Korean Cosmetic stores here (such as Nature Republic and TFS) they: * have more make up: - eyeliners - mascaras - lip products * are more expensive * have cute food packaging * have a smaller selection of hand creme in comparison to both NR and TFS *have almost the same amount if not a little bit more face masks, though I think they were cheaper at about $1.80/regular mask and $3.80/specialty mask like the animal ones. read more

I've always wanted to check out Tony Moly when I head it opened in Hawaii, and finally had the chance to do so this summer :) I've fallen in love with Korean beauty products over the years and noticed that it's helped a lot with my acne problems. My skin recently started changing from oily to a combination type and I finally decided to give up my old skin care products for a newer one, and am glad I came to Tony Moly. I originally went to Tony Moly on Keaumoku to restock on face masks and try out the Egg Pore Blackhead Out Oil Gel that I've heard a lot about. As I went to check out the woman who worked their noticed how bad my acne has been breaking out and suggested I try out the Dr. Tony AC Control Cleanser. My old cleanser that I had still had a little left, and I was a little hesitant to change cleansers since my old one from the Face Shop helped me to control a lot of my old acne problems. I decided not to buy the cleanser that day, but the cute sales lady gave me samples to try of the cleanser. She was super nice and didn't pressure me into buying the product like a lot of sales associates try to do. I don't usually use samples that are given to me immediately, but a few days later I decided to just try the sample anyway since my breakout wasn't getting any better. After trying out the sample of the cleanser I noticed that I preferred the Dr. Tony cream cleanser a lot better than the foam cleanser I was using. When I went back to the store a few days later to buy the cleanser, the same woman was working there and instantly remembered me and my skin troubles. She also recommended to me the toner and moisturizer that went along with the cleanser and I am really glad to have bought the skin care set. I have sensitive skin, and was liked how gentle the cleanser cleaned my skin. It's also suppose to help with acne so I can't wait to see what kind of results I might get now that I bought a full sized bottles of the Dr. Tony skin care line. The toner is also light and the moisturizer doesn't leave a sticky residue after applying it like I've experienced with other brands. My overall experience at Tony Moly was a 10/10. The cute woman who worked there was really helpful since oftentimes I never know what I should buy when I go to Korean skin care stores since there's just so much stuff to try. So after our horrible experience at Morning Glory, my sister dragged me to Tony Moly. This is a cute little store, similar to the Face Shop and Nature Republic, showing off their Korean Cosmetics and Skin care products. Their prices are not that bad, they were similar or cheaper than the Face Shop (I love going there). My sister was going crazy over the packaging because everything was so "cutesy" and they really push their "skin food" products, so everything is in food shaped containers, and even smell like food. I feel bad for the girl working here, because she would greet people and they ignored her. She was nice though. She was telling us about their 3 year anniversary sale where the store was 20%-75% off. I found the 75% off stuff, but they were items that cost like $5 (regular price). Eh. We didn't buy anything, because we didn't NEED anything. But my sister was contemplating on the Banana facial cleanser lol. read more
