We were greeted by lovely Lady with whim we chatted for over an hour! She was the most wonderful store associates. She gave us an explanation about the different soaps and the process how they are done. She explained how the company started and what ingredients go into production of the soap. We ended up coming back and stocking up on gifts for mainlanders. The smell is great and lingers on the skin for a while. It bubbles well and does not leave a residue on the skin. 100% love this lotion and shower gel! And I was so excited to actually visit the little shop In Haleiwa! Pikake is my absolute favorite but Plumeria and coconut mango are right behind! Pineapple is also amazing but they have other fragrances you might like. The quality of the ingredients are great and I 100% love! The product is available from numerous vendors in the island but there was nothing like getting straight from Bubble Shack. If you are looking for lotion and other skin care items, I would definitely recommend that you give this product a try. I have given as gifts and literally everyone that receives, wants more. I didn't personally visit the store but received goodies from here for my b-day. I first discovered their products while shopping at Don Quijote in Honolulu. I love their liquid hand soaps so much, I find myself washing my hands more than necessary. You can tell their products are made with quality ingredients and it all smells so great. I feel like I'm transported back to Hawaii! Their website is excellent. Since I can't personally visit the store, it's nice that they ship their products. I went to the Haleiwa and was first shocked by all the fruits/veggies and knickknacks the store had. It looked like you were walking into a dingy dollar store. The lady who worked there was also rude and if you stood in her way, she will give you a dirty look. We walked out without buying soap since a lot of the unwrapped ones were dirty. read more

Service is always a toss up, but at minimum - descent. Products are wonderful! If you're familiar with the smells of Hawaii, definitely grab some soaps, candles or lotions. The scent doesn't not fade over use. I especially love the loofah soap. read more

Bought 2 soaps, dog wash and hand soap for $48 to be shipped to my home 7/2023. Really disappointed. The order was wrong. The hand soap didn't smell like the loofah soap and the loofah soap didn't smell like the one I purchased last year at the cultural center. Almost looks like they used cheap stuff to fill their branded bottles. Dried out my hands when I tried some of the dog soap. As I was passing through North Shore, I couldn't help but go into this sweet little shop. First off, it was incredibly inviting, not just by appearance, but by smell. Sometimes shops that sell smelly soaps can give off a LOT of unpleasant scents- but this place smelled great! The Bubble Shack seemed to have a lot of sales going on, and the woman who was working was very kind and told me about them (even though they were displayed). She was very friendly and willing to help. I decided to get some bars of soap and I checked out. When I checked-in to the store via my Yelp app, I also received a coupon for the store! I believe it was 15% off my purchase. The lady told me that they weren't doing that promotion anymore and that her boss forgot to shut it off with Yelp- but that she would still honor it for me that day. We love it! It feels like satin on our skin-not oily and the fragrance is wonderful, not overpowering. Playing tourist and went to check this place out because I first saw the pics of their cute soaps shaped like starfish. They didn't end up having any when we went, but still got a few other soaps, including a donut soap as a gift! They all smelt so nice and buy 3, get 1 free! ...so that's just what we did! Although we got a free one, they gave us another "loofah soap" ON TOP of that. 2 free?!?! Yay! I like that they are all natural and locally made. The soaps weren't too strong-smelling either. I can't wait to use them! The staff are so friendly and really made us feel welcomed. They answered all our questions and seemed to know their stuff! Location is easy to find if you DON'T use Yelps address and just call them directly. BUT, the phone number goes to a main office or something so it took a while to get their actual phone number from the lady who answered. I absolutely LOVE this place! All the ladies that work her are all so nice and are knowledgable with all their product. Usually strong smelling soaps and lotions give me headaches (bath and body and places like that) but I don't get headaches walking into this place. The loofa soap bars are so great for exfoliation and smell nice. They even have dog shampoo! My doggie has sensitive skin so I'm always on the look out for products that cater to my sensitive pup. The dog shampoo are all organic so I decided to give a couple of them a chance. I tried the anti shedding and the flea repellent and my doggo didn't mind them at all. No itching, excessive scratching or flaky dandruff for my pup! He smelled great and his coat was so soft after. The anti shedding helped for a day or so but I was informed that it would only work longer if I used the shampoo daily. All in all my dog and I LOVE these products and will definitely be back for more. read more

Love their soaps, I visited in April and my soap is finally dwindling. The soap doesn't dry out my skin and the scent I have is gardenia and it's so pleasant not over powering. So I decided to investigate and see if I could find the brand online. Not only was my in person experience pleasant my online was just as great. The customer service person helped guide me to where I needed to be. I was able to purchase my favorite scent and a couple news ones I haven't tried. Definitely brightened my day in rainy Seattle! What really drew me in was their promise of 100% vegan, paraben free, TEA free, sulfate free and phthalate free, besides having the most fun and awesome smelling products of course. I stock up to the brim whenever I'm in town. I usually go to the Swap Meet @ Aloha Stadium and hit this booth last because I know I'm going to get pounds and pounds of soap. This is THE best stuff to shave with! They always individually wrap and label the soaps and are so nice and friendly. Buy enough and they'll throw in a bag of soap chips, which are just odds and ends from when they are cutting the bars. The chips are perfect for camping or traveling. They sell mainly soap and body wash made in Hawaii, but they also have jewelry and other fun stuff. The soap reminds me of LUSH soap, but with a milder scent. I was told that Bubble Shack soaps are made with natural ingredients that are good for skin, while LUSH products are not. I still like LUSH, but I also love Bubble Shack! This place rocks! I stopped in last week while I was grabbing some lunch at the sprout sandwich shop just a couple doors over. The associate in the front was SUPER knowledgable about the soaps and their philosophy behind their concept. I enjoyed hearing her tenacious ideas about how to utilize soaps in seemingly unconventional ways. Definitely give a tune when you walk in. The store was packet of awesome varieties of soap and collectibles. If you want a neat bar of soap that come from an organic and undergoes a natural production process right here in Hawaii, this place should be your destination. I can't imagine the amount of excitement a child would endure if they walked in. I'll be bringing mine in next weekend. I ended up grabbing my dog some natural shampoo varieties that smell really great. That's good for me- because that little bundle of hyper can adhere a smell of the depths of you know where. Anyways, he smells like a guava tree now. I also got a variety of soaps from the wall. They were buy three get one free. I'm a sale fiend. I don't necessarily need to even buy something, but if there's a sale, I feel compelled to ignite my inner shopaholic I attempt to repress. Perfect gifts for friends and family! It's like bath and bodyworks or one of those kinds of stores...but MUCH better! They have awesome "chunk" soaps that trapezoids with various "flavors". There are pineapple chunks inside (imitation I think). Anyways, I ended up buying one of each to take home. Favorites are Juicy Pineapple, Pina Colada, and Pineapple Hula chunk soaps. They are only sold in Hawaii, but are available online at Target and The Bubble Shack website! UPDATE: SOLD IN SOME BED BATH AND BEYOND STORES IN CALIFORNIA. However, the website is still the best way to order from the Mainland USA. Why? Free Shipping over $100 and tax free! Next thing to try are the candles! One thing to mention about the soap bars: They use up fairly quickly (about a month of good scrubbing in the shower per bar) compared to other regular kind of soaps. But, who cares? Okay so let's start by saying I LOVE this shop. From the outside, you would have no clue at all what this shop is about. Unless of course you know about Holly and Ashley's line of shops and products. Once you get past that though, and actually go inside, you will feel like you stumbled upon a totally rad gem of a shop!!! Holly is amazing, and Arnel who works for her, is such a treat to chat with as well. So, what is this place? Basically, it is an organic boutique version of Bath & Body Works. So basically, it's a dream. All of the soaps that are displayed, are handmade and so completely original! This is literally the first place you should go to when purchasing gifts..for anyone!!!! Some of the soaps are cut out of a block, like the Shark Bite soap. And some are cut from a "cake", for your slice of cake soap! The creativity here, is endless!! There are so many shapes and designs of soaps!! Such as cupcakes, macaroons, GUMMY BEARS(yes, really), And even dog bones!!! Totally clever, but you you might want to remind those you're buying for, or even yourself(!), that these are soap and totally not for eating. Seriously.. You'll understand when you see for yourself. Not to mention it is sensory overload with the amazing fragrances!!! In a total bliss sort of way, not in the headache way. The combined scents will totally put you in a state of euphoria. No joke. This stop was number one on my list of places and items exclusively from Hawaii and not found in local California surf shops. We were not disappointed! We stopped in one afternoon and bought gifts for the girls back home. The soaps are so clean and fresh smelling! Not overly sweet or perfumed. Great quality. "All Bubble Shack bath and body products and soy candles are naturally handmade in Hawaii. We use many locally harvested herbs, flowers and other naturally grown ingredients from Hawaii." (per website) I don't remember how I first found out about Bubble Shack, but discovered the goods at my local on-island Target (imagine that!). Fell in love with the products on the shelf and bought 3 different 5-in-1 washes to use at home. 5-in-1 washes because you can use them for your face, hands, hair, bubble bath, whatever. I like that versatility! The washes I picked were chocolate malasada (never eaten the real thing), juicy pineapple, and papaya love. Also got a pack of body soap and variety set of lotions - all for me! Such a believer and fan of the products that I ordered some to present to my mom for Christmas. Bubble Shack has far superior options than the usual assortment from Bath and Body Works, which can't boast the 100% vegan etc. claim. I usually don't bother to write reviews but these guys made me so angry I didn't mind starting a yelp account especially to write this one. If I could give this place negative stars I would. A friend recommended these products, and gave me a few samples. I absolutely loved the product and couldn't wait to order. BIG MISTAKE!!! I'll start out by placing and order over the Thanksgiving weekend. After placing the order I saw they had more products that I was interested in trying. Knowing that the order was probably not processed yet, I called early Monday (taking note that they are five hours behind me) but was told that I could not add to my order because the order had already been processed. I received an email a few days later saying that my order had just been processed. When I called to inquire about that, I was told that I should have cancelled my order and placed a new order when I had called on Monday adding the additional items to the new order. An option that I wasn't informed by customer service was even a possibility. I was then offered a 25% discount on my order for additional items if I completed the order that day. The shipping on the additional items negated the discount so there was no point in that especially since their prices had gone back up within those couple of days. The products that I had previously ordered was either stolen or never delivered. I called and spoke to someone in "customer service" several times only to be told that they were going to contact the USPS to file a claim and that I would have to wait until that was resolved . They made no effort to replace the package and basically told me I was screwed. So not only did I NOT get my product that I was anxiously awaiting but now I am also out $55.00dollars. Great going guys. I will NEVER order from this company again which is a shame because I really like the product.. Merry Christmas to me. read more

I discovered Bubble Shack through the swap-meet but now go to Daie/Don Quijote in the touristy sections. The quality of the soap is excellent, it washes clean and doesn't get waxy. We stopped by the dozens of food trucks to grab something to eat. We had originally planned to stop by this cute little store via reviews. And we did! The store was smaller than I had anticipated. Owner/store clerk was friendly and she greeted us. She explained what each soap was made out of. We ended up purchasing a small box of macaroons bath soaps as a gift to take back and a bath bomb for our vacation. We also asked her for directions to the beach and she was going to the extra mile and gave us maps and even offer us to use the restroom before we head out. We politely decline but later regretted.
