Although I haven't had their pizza in quite some time (it's delicious), I'd really like highlight their sandwiches. I've tried almost every sandwich on the menu include their occasional special sandwiches (prime rib sandwich is incredible). Each sandwich comes with your choice of potato (I believe they make their own chips from scratch?) and the portions on both the side and the sandwich are mind blowing. The Reuben for example is piled so high with meat there has to be at least 11 slices inside making it about 4" tall with the bread on top. If you get the steak sandwich, it comes with a giant pile of deep friend onion straws and horse radish. The steak is always cooked to perfection and is extremely tender. If you're a fan of Tribute Brewing in Eagle River, they carry a few of their brews on tap! My favorite is Blueberry Train & it pairs surprisingly well with pizza. I genuinely love this place, but I have to warn you that like most places up here, service can be slow. If you're new to the area or not used to having to wait a bit for service, it may come to a shock to you but there's a labor shortage here so please be kind to all restaurant workers in the North Woods, ESPECIALLY during tourist season.

Instead of paying ~$20 plus what the additional 3 toppings cost we ended up paying $50 plus for a 15" pizza because each ingredient was itemized separately. Ridiculous! I pull up to this place and walk in, and someone who was already there just happened to ask, "Are you still serving?" I said, "Yeah, I want to know too!" They stopped serving at 9. It was 8:57. His area was for only about 10 people at a quiet bar so he had to know we were sitting there with empty glasses. Then, after ordering another round of drinks, he immediately told people who entered the place that we were almost done and they could have our seats as we were leaving soon. We learned that Dave is a friend of the owner so guessing this is how the place is run. Why would we return for so-so food (spending over $200 for five people) and this type of service from the bartender?
