The food here is really good. I got a smothered breakfast burrito and it was a good size and very flavorful. The pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you get as well. My wife did find a couple hairs in her food, but that is probably not uncommon for a local place like this. read more

We love this place! You get ample portions of food for a very reasonable price, and EVERYTHING we have tried from their breakfast/brunch menu is delicious. The dining area is small, so on weekends there can be a wait, but they move people through pretty quickly and the staff are all very friendly. You can't go wrong with any of their omelets, skillets, burritos, or specials. Most of their breakfast entrees come with a side of toast, French toast, or biscuits and gravy, so no need to worry about leaving hungry! Our family has been eating here for a couple of years and we absolutely love it. The food is always great. Some of our favorites are the breakfast burrito, California Chicken sandwich, and the bacon and hash browns are the best! Was really excited to try this place out. Went in and was promptly sat right behind the other 3 people that came in right in front of us. Then we're told that we would need to relinquish our table because there were people waiting before us. The other table that sat before us was not asked to relinquish their table. Best breakfast in the area! The service was amazing - plenty of attention to detail and each of us individually. Omelets, drinks, sides (even the grilled veggies!) were all delicious. Next time I'll bring my own real maple syrup though; what they had was mostly fructose corn syrup. The price for the quantity of high quality food was way worth it. The biscuits were doughy rather than flakey and the gravy tastes like it is a packet mixed with water. The interior is no frills, and no nonsense. Don't come here expecting an uber-cook Snooze experience. What you will get is well prepared, basic fare. I had the C.B. Hash, served with two over easy, and a side of pancakes. All that for nine bucks! The corned beef was a bit sweet, and the hash was diced potatoes with green peppers. A little tabasco, and this hit the spot. Coffee is so-so. Service is fast and friendly. read more

Foods not bad but if I'm still hungry when I leave something is wrong I eat light and weight 180 so it ain't because I'm fat and I eat a lot... The Egg has the potential to be so much better than it is. It has charm and decent service. I ordered a skillet and it came with a slice of American "cheese" on it. The pancakes were made from a powder, which tasted like Bisquik. They were served with margarine. And the syrup is more like sugar water, there was no flavor to it. The owners have cut too many corners and unfortunately, I won't be returning because of it. There is not much soul put into this food- I would rather eat at a 24 hr diner. read more

This place is always busy, but I honestly have no clue why; the food is not good. My family and I went for breakfast one Sunday morning and not one person at the table really wanted to eat their entree. My husband and I chose the biscuits and gravy, it was unbelievably bland. There was no flavor at all,even when we added salt and pepper it was still gross. My son had the french toast and he said it tasted like plain bread covered in syrup. I ended up adding an order of hash browns to my meal, thank God I did, because that was the only thing I ended up eating (and that's with a ton of ketchup, salt, and pepper added to help those poor potatoes). This place is a little hidden gem just east of University on Highlands Ranch Pkwy. Their hashbrowns are so good, and even better, their green chile burger and french fries were better than my typical go to's. We frequent here often and am happy to have a good meal right down the street. read more

Horrible. Not returning. No sign of any sort of management. I learned about this place from a co-worker so decided to give it a try when Snooze had a 90 minute wait and when I called The Egg they told me there was only a 5 minute wait. The wait turned into 30 minutes. They were very busy. The problem is they have absolutely no space at the front for people to wait. It's tiny. We were squished like sardines in their literal 3 x 3 waiting area. The other option to wait is a couple of bunches basically in the restrooms. The teen hostess tried to keep up with the crowd, but it was very hard for her to keep track of whose name she already had taken down. We finally sat at the table closest to the door. Because they have no viable waiting area, people waiting to be seated were in line out the door, meaning the door was constantly open in very cold temperature. Because we were so close to the door, it was absolutely freezing. Our food arrived lukewarm, but because of how cold it was at our table, our food quickly became very cold. Nothing like eating cold food. We literally shivered through the whole meal. Now for the meals my family had Chocolate Pancakes - Daughter said they were OK. Regular Pancakes - Tasted worse than Bisquick Biscuits and Gravy - Biscuits were doughy and gravy tasted like watered down McCormak gravy. French Toast - Was good To summarize, this place is very unorganized, there was absolutely no one visibly managing the restaurant. To say the food was mediocre would be an overstatement. The logistical setup of the restaurant is certainly not conducive to having a wait-list. I admire the attempt, but it will catch on that this is not the breakfast place for long. read more
