    3 cheese omelette
    Patrick K.

A very typical place... nothing special, but serviceable food. I ordered the 3 cheese omelette and a Latté. The omelette was kind of dry and the cheese not all melted... flavor wise, not bad. The hash browns were crispy and toast was fine. The latte was pretty weak - definitely not worth the price. My companions had the Ruben and patty melt with fries, which they enjoyed. The fries came prey heavily peppered, which I didn't care for.

Such a great menu and lots of choices! We have been here twice and everything has been hit and delicious!

    I ate all my food!

The food was delicious. I ate it all. They are also very sanitary and careful. The wait was a bit long but not terrible. It's very loud inside but obviously that isn't their fault. The prices are very cheap and amazing for the quality of the food! They also have a variety of foods for anyone.

All looks and sounds great for quite a large variety of choices. I'm doing rack of ribs, and sides. B doing salad bar and soup of some variation. App of hummus and flatbread is really good. Club soda, no ice for me. B having coffee and water. Excellent service from happy staff. Salad bar is way better than average finds. Food quality here is excellent and we agree as a place for return and further evaluation!!

Chicken Supreme Omelet, GF bread, butter on the side

I was already impressed with The Eatery's GF options, but a dedicated GF fryer!?! Y'all are killing' it! Other Lincoln establishments could really take a lesson from what The Eatery does so well. Had to come and update my review today because I came for lunch in between two appointments. The place is packed, but the service is amazing as always and my food came so fast. Got an omelet and swapped out the bread for GF, which they purposely gave butter on the side to avoid cross contamination. Appreciate your concern and attention to detail so much!

I sat at the bar and had phenomenal service. I got the Aragon burger with a tallow fries, covered in bacon jam! I will have to say, this is one of the better burgers I've ever had in my life. It came out very hot, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The sauce is super yummy. But it's a grilled onions that really make it. The fries came out hot, crispy, and very tasty. This is a phenomenal restaurant with some very good food. Unless you're lucky you get a seat at the bar, I'm sure reservations are required.

Service was very good. We were seated promptly and asked if we were ready for the next course at appropriate times. We had the 3 course dinner with the summer salad, lasagna Bianca and steak. I personally thought the salad was the best! The array of flavors was very satisfying from the crunch of the pine nuts to the smoothness of the ricotta to the tanginess of the dressing. Would highly recommend. The lasagna was good... but very one note... and that note is "richness". It didn't really taste like anything more, which in effect made it not much different from an ordinary lasagna I could make at home and not pay that much for it. The steak was not well seasoned, which I wouldn't have minded but the cook was a bit beyond the medium rare I asked for. Overall I probably would be back to try something else. But dish is still superior in terms of fine dining in Lincoln in my opinion.

When you walk in, you are hit with the smell of fresh burgers and sides being prepared in front of you. It's a counter order style restaurant where you order first then sit and collect your food after. We tried a little of everything during this visit: Burgers, Sweet potato fries and Parmesan truffle fries. The burger was definitely the star of the show. The Reading Rainbow has a hearty portion of peanut butter on it, combined with their version of jelly, making this burger extremely filling. Now to the fries, and reason for 4 stars. Both of our fries arrived a little cooler than I would expect for freshly made items. The sweet potato fries were crispy, yet lacked flavor. The truffle fries were disappointing. They were very dry and had what seemed like seasoning and cheese dumped in the container. I'd expect some oil for the "truffle" label, but there appeared to be none. Overall, I'd be willing to give Honest Abe's another try for their sides and try another burger to see how it compares!

Maaaan... this has to be one of the best food trucks in town. They serve delicious fried chicken and the customer service is on point. This is a 'must-try' for fried chicken enthusiasts. From the moment I stepped up to the window, I was greeted with a warm smile from the young lady which immediately set the tone for the rest of my experience. The menu had a great selection ( fried chicken, pizza puff, cat fish, etc) to choose from, plus fries and a drink. I decided to go for their 6 piece fried chicken meal, which came with a side of perfectly crispy fries and an orange soda. And let me tell you, the chicken was simply amazing. It was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was spot on and the chicken was so tender that it melted in my mouth. Even though the service is phenomenal, you're going to have to wait at least 10 minutes for your food to cook up. But it's well worth the wait.
