I love this place. A friend of mine went to college in the West Village/Chelsea area, which is within a reasonable walking distance to the office I work at. In fact, I work so close and the donuts are so good that I have now become a regular at The Donut Pub. I normally get two donuts, and have been exploring the types of donuts. So far I've had the chocolate dipper, double chocolate dipper, Brooklyn creme, vanilla creme, strawberry creme and Boston creme. They never disappoint. All of the staff members are efficient and sweet, even when the shop is busy. Even if there's a line or they are making a bunch of orders, their service is consistently extremely fast without sacrificing quality. Their matcha latte and regular coffee latte are also pretty good. The cups are adorable. The interior is the old diner from back in the 90s style, and surprisingly they have a decent amount of seating considering how small the establishment is. Run, don't walk! I remember writing this. Because the guy at the counter made a joke about having a donut that was like a cruller had sex with a glazed? or something. And that's a funny image. I think a churro could probably also have sex with a donut. Also, a large pretzel stick. But I digress. Lots of options. So many options. Open really late. Possibly always open? If you're on a chubby side like myself this place is definitely for you. There ain't Dunkin' Donuts in here. Stumbled upon this donut hole by a pure coincidence. Their doughnuts are divine. I have only tried maple bacon so far, which is my favorite and a perfect combination of sweet and salty flavor and it balances itself out. I highly recommend it! I don't know but they might even be beating "The salty doughnuts" in Miami. Who knows?! The first bite of that sweet and salty doughnut took me to heaven. My girlfriend and I came here the other night. We ordered one of the chocolate donuts, a chocolate, graham cracker, doughnut, and a French crawler. We were disappointed in all of them!
