I was a little skeptical to go to this urgent care after reading all the reviews, but had no choice, since my doctors office was closed and this was the only urgent care around me that accepted my insurance. Thank god, I did, I was very pleasantly surprised! The staff was polite and attentive, and the doctor(Zeiger, if I recall correctly)couldn't be more pleasant & knowledgeable. Even w 4 people ahead of me I was in and out in 45 minutes. So they certainly deserve the 5 stars. read more

I have gotten COVID tests at this location for myself and my son multiple times with high efficiency. I have been there with and without appointments. Both worked out well, but appointment will probably work best giving the latest Omicron wave, so keep current state of affairs in mind if you want to do walk-in, as with all places. The folks are friendly, the doctors take their time to speak with you not just to give you the test. Great experience overall. Highly recommended. Made an appointment for 1 and it's now 230, I'm still here and the doctor has yet to do anything but take my vitals and is in no hurry to return. I'm terribly sick and just want to go home with my medicine this is ridiculous. read more

Difficult to know how many stars to leave, because i have had a few positive experiences here up until my last visit. about a month ago, i came here because i had a headache that lasted about 5 days which is longer than usual for me and was very intense, going down my back. I called from the car as per the new Cover rules, said what i was there for and was told I/d be seen from the car. i found that odd because i was hoping for an X-ray and full exam. shortly after, a lady came to the car and took my temp and said to go inside. once inside they asked who sent me in and my symptoms, and then said i needed to go back to the car because a headache and back ache can be covid symptoms. i was surprised because i had no temp or other symptoms. i went back outside, not happy about this and then a lady comes and takes my BP, then sends another man out to take it again and he says its much lower in 1 arm and i need to go to the ER immediately as that can be serious. Obviously that scared me and made me panic which made my head hurt more. Off to the ER, not what I wanted during a pandemic. There the nurse takes my BP which is fine!! So what did they mess up at Urgent Care? Maybe because I was in the car and had to twist my arm around in the freezing cold? Obviously something was wrong since it was fine. Then since they hadn't treated me for my head pain I was admitted and ended up being there for 7 hours.Glad to have a clear CT and get meds, but not glad for the scare and long wait for something that should have been able to be treated at this Urgent Care. Even the nurse in the ER said that head pain alone is rarely a symptom of Covid. If they do not want anyone inside, they need to just say that rather than end up giving me a terrible scare. It is supposed to be a place you can go when you don't feel well. I certainly understand extra precautions currently, but this was extreme. On the plus side, the Covid test they gave me came back (negative) within just 3 days. My prior experiences were much better. read more

I was very impressed with this urgent care facility! I came in because I had a sore throat for over a week that was causing me pain and wanted to be sure I didn't have strep. I presented my insurance card and ID. I filled out some forms and didn't wait long before being seen by Linda, the nurse, who took my vital signs. She was very nice. Linda then led me to a room and took a swab of my throat. She told me Dr. Vicki would be in to see me shortly. I waited about 20 minutes (I figured it was that amount because of the throat swab), and Dr. Vicki examined me. She said my swab was negative but she was sending it out to test for additional bacteria to be sure. She suggested cough drops I should buy. I was having trouble finding them. She didn't have any to give me but did give me a coupon, which I really appreciated. The office and exam rooms are very clean. If you need to go to urgent care, I recommend this office and Dr. Vicki. read more

Excellent experience from start to finish, Receptionists were helpful & knowledgeable, the PA who handled my rapid covid test was gentle & professional, he listened as I discussed my symptoms & asked questions . I received my rapid covid test results in under an hour, negative covid, prescriptions for respiratory infection were sent to my pharmacy. read more

The Doctor's Office urgent care in Paramus is so much more than just a place you go for a quick remedy. I have felt awful for most of 2018. I've been to several doctors to try to diagnose my chronic post nasal drip and breathing difficulties. It was only when I saw Dr. Viki that I began to feel good again! I waited at least 45 minutes after I checked in to have a rapid Covid test done. I called to ensure my name hadn't been lost. I was given apology for sit but there was only 1 Dr today. However , a car that arrived a good 20 minutes after me was handled first. Seems a bit disorganized to me. read more

I had been out of the country and needed a Covid test to go back to PT. As it's a Sunday(3 days after my return to US) I was looking for a place doing testing today. Went on line and got an appointment that was in 45 minutes. Waited about 5 minutes for someone to come out to my car to do the test. So easy. They will accept my Medicare so no charge. I had called the Covid testing pop up on Rt. 17N who wanted $360 for a PCR test!! Wow! read more

Great experience, Dr Zeiger and staff were very friendly! My husband was there today with a ear ache, we couldn't get a same day appointment with our regular doctor so we decided to there.. I went there to receive a rapid COVID test. It couldn't have gone more smoothly. Booking the appointment on line was so easy. I was able to get an appt. the very next day. I love that I could stay in my car for the test. I didn't have to go inside at all. From beginning to end, I was there a total of 25 mins. They were so great!!! I didn't have to wait there for results. Shortly after I got home I got my phone call with results, about 25 mins. later. This is my fourth test (all done at different locations) and this was the easiest, by far. It is highly organized and extremely well run! Kudos to all involved. Highly recommend! read more

I went to this office because I threw my back out, so it was an emergency on a Sunday. First, when we pull into the parking lot, which is a location that they do COVID testing, there are TONS of used spit swab sticks in the parking lot... I should've known then what my experience would be like. In triage, the nurse greeted me with..." oh, you're pregnant!"... which I'm not!...then while waiting... I hear the Dr speaking with the patient in the room say that she has poison ivy. I'm next to go in that room and it was not wiped down prior to me coming in. I saw! Then the Dr was VERY rude to me that I had not taken care of my back issue sooner since I had thrown it out 2 other times . I had explained to her that I was pregnant and that my intention was to follow up after my child was born. I was being spoken to as if I was negligent and just there for the meds. I'd stay away from this location. There's plenty of other urgent cares in the area. read more

Efficient, timely and polite staff, but Not One wore a visible name tag or introduced themselves. My prescription was called into the wrong pharmacy and another prescription was added that the doctor hadn't told me she was ordering (and which duplicated one I had at home). read more

My husband and I have been rescued by Drs. Jill and Vicki many, many times. They are always compassionate when we are suffering from minor colds or other maladies. The office staff is lovely. The wait is never too long even when they are busy. I highly recommend Th Doctors Office. read more

The is the WORST absolute WORST urgent care EVER! I went in Friday evening 11/19/2021 for an infection on my tongue. This cost me $100 for NOTHING. They prescribed my an antibiotic rinse. It was too late to pick it up at the pharmacy that evening. When I went the next day the prescription was never sent in. When I called The Doctor's Office Urgent Care in Paramus they told me that Doctor would not be back in until after the weekend, and that they could not help me. The only thing they could do was have me come in again and pay ANOTHER $100 to see a different doctor, or wait until Monday to have that first doctor send it in. What a money making racket. And now I continue to be in severe pain without any medicine, unless I go back in and pay another $100 co-pay. Ridiculous. This used to be a great place, but it is VERY obvious this new management is incompetent and awful. I will never set foot in there again, and will continue to let everyone know, not to visit this facility when they have a problem. read more

I went for covid testing. They don't mitigate cross contamination. A person went from car to car (of other people waiting for testing) handing out and collecting paperwork on wooden clipboards (meaning taking paperwork from one car then handing out to another), taking Temps and CO readings and never changed her gloves. After taking my temp and CO reading incorrectly and realizing what she was doing, I left. CvS has a much safer process. read more

The wait for the COVID-19 test wasn't long at all. The P.A. was very professional, nice and test was quick.

I went in because I fell down my stairs. I was told I needed a tetanus shot. They did not tell me my arm would be in massive pain! When I looked this up it happens when the person doesn't know what they are doing! They didn't say a word to me - I don't think she even spoke English. I don't even think I needed one! Also the people in the front desk are very unprofessional - she was hanging her mask on her chin! When I said something she put it on and then I saw her taking it off again. This was about as good an experience as it gets at Urgent Care. I went to the Doctors Office Urgent Care in Paramus because I had an ear ache and sore throat that wasn't getting better. Since it was a weekday it wasn't terribly crowded and I waited less than 5 minutes before being called. The office was bright, clean and comfortable. The nurse who took my vitals was friendly and pleasant and brought me into an exam room. Within minutes, Dr. Viki came in and listened to my complaints and examined me. She sent a prescription to my local pharmacy and also sent me for an ultrasound based on my symptoms and her exam. She called me the next day with the results, spent lots of time on the phone explaining everything to me and was calm and reassuring. I highly recommend this facility, and would return if I needed immediate care again. read more

It was the Saturday before Christmas at 1:00pm, my daughter had a seriously painful infected ingrown toe nail. She was examined by Dr. Zieger who immediately realized how much pain my daughter was in, and the need for her to be seen by a podiatrist immediately. She contacted Dr. Jacob Reinkraut of Complete Foot and Ankle in Ridgewood. She arranged for my daughter to be seen immediately, despite the office being closed. My daughter was treated, and is healing now because of her compassion. Thanks again! read more

Awful! My son went there and told them he was allergic to Amoxicillin. The doctor who saw him for an upper respiratory infection, wrote a prescription. Trusting the doctor and not realizing the prescription was for Amoxicillin, my son filled and took the prescription which caused an awful allergic reaction. When I called the office the next day to tell what happened to my son, a covering doctor failed to even get on the phone even bother to ask how he was feeling or to apologize. I was told to call back on Tuesday. Not happy with the lack of concern. read more

I do not recommend. Although I eventually received the service I requested, I waited for about 40 minutes. When I was later billed, I was overcharged. I had to communicate back and forth between the Doctors Office customer service and my insurance company -- the doctors office customer service refused to communicate directly with my insurance. I spoke with the manager and she was rude and unhelpful. I am ending up paying more than necessary due to the faulty charge. I'm sure I could get the amount further reduced if I kept arguing, but I'm not interested in talking with the irritating customer service any more. read more

I would not recommend coming here unless calling ahead and finding out which doctor is in the office that day. On my previous visit, I was seen by Dr. Vicki and had a thorough, to the point examination. This morning I was seen by Dr. Friedman and was not even examined, was just written off as saying I have allergies after I described my symptoms. Very upset with his attitude as well....TERRIBLE bedside manner and a complete waste of my time. read more

I've never been so disrespected and treated so poorly by a physician like Dr. Milosis. The moment she walked into the room, she accosted me with the worst bed side manners I have ever experienced. The tone and choice of words were very condescending and rude. I waiting 1hr and 40min and did not complain. After asking me why I was there in a rude manner she finally checked my breathing and said I needed an X-ray bc my pneumonia progressed to my left lung. She then said we can't do it here because the office is closing and wrote me a prescription to go somewhere else. If I could give this place zero stars I would. read more

First, I would give this place a second chance only if there is another doctor on duty and after calling ahead to ask the waiting time. The bad, I was there Nov. 7, 2015. Ironically, for a place called urgent care, there was nothing urgent about any of the staff especially the doctor that seemed to move at the speed of molasses. After a couple of hours I complained about the wait and was not told how much longer it would take. At that point the receptionist started turning people away due to the wait telling them to come back in the evening. Everyone was polite including the doctor (Dr. Milosis). However, it was painfully obvious that Dr. Milosis, a white Anglo woman, had a real chip on her shoulder trying her best to conceal her rotten attitude. Goodbye Dr. Milosis, you are not the type of employee, let alone doctor, I would care to deal with again. read more
