I honestly can say that Dr. Jill Zeiger is one of my most favorite doctors I ever encountered. I…read moretrust her implicitly. When I came in with a nasty looking dog bite, I could tell Dr. Zeiger was genuinely concerned for my well-being. She threw everything she had at her disposal to help me but when that wasn't enough, she urged me to go to the ER. Thank God she did because things could've gotten much more serious very fast. Since then, it's always such a comfort to see Dr. Zeiger's face when I come to the Doctor's Office. My family has been in numerous times for various illnesses and we always walk out feeling taken care of. Friends and colleagues have shared the same experiences with me and I'm always recommending this location to those looking for urgent care. If not for Dr. Zeiger, I don't know if I'd feel the same way. She's a gem!

Unacceptable, I suffered terribly after going here. Please read this…read more I had a small but uncomfortable red spot at the base of my nostril (1/2 size of a dime, maybe smaller) This "doctor" took my urine, after examining my nose and sdvising me to FIRST, fill script THEN, follow up with my dermatologist. She said I'll be back in a few to provide you with paperwork, diagnosis and script. Someone came in, one of the staff members and hand me a cup and said she wants your urine to be tested - I had no idea why or how this could be when we were just together and it was about my nose. I asked him what for? He replied she will have to go over that with you. So I did it. This doctor came back in and I asked why she took my urine and she said, I almost don't believe I'm writing this, I've run several tests for STDs. I absolutely lost my mind! First of all who the hell is she to question anything like that she would need to ask me some questions about my sexual activity, I asked her what STDs has to do with my nose she had no answer. I left there and for some strange reason since it had been burning under my nose I figured let me fill this prescription Huge mistake! I was then in a situation where I was given a VERY strong, dangerous ointment which resulted in a SEVERE infection - taking the entire side of my face over & according to my dermatologist exasperating anything that could have been wrong to begin with as well as causing this to be 1 DAY away from my bloodstream. Yes, I am filing suit. PLEASE BE CAREFUL.

I filled out all screening forms and uploaded my ID/insurance before I arrived. It helps me and helps them. The team was wonderful. Bouncing around, jumping, sliding, when all of the sudden we hear a "pop!" and my son goes down. Not screaming crying, but saying his leg hurts. We knew it wasn't good. I really didn't want to sit in an ER so I called CityMD Paramus to see if they had an X-Ray tech on site. They did so we rushed on over. We didn't have to sit too long (luckily it wasn't that crowded) and they brought my son in for X-Rays which showed he broke his Tibia. They had to place his leg in a splint. It was certainly not a good time for my son. I was a little bummed that they only had Tylenol to offer him instead of at least Advil, but when we got home I got him some Advil. It was a very traumatic event but CityMD was able to help us solve the problem quickly. My daughter was with us as well and she was absolutely distraught. She was crying outside of the room while my son was getting his leg set. The nurses / PAs / Doctors were all SO very kind to her. They took her to one of their desks and colored pictures with her to distract her. They gave her a piece of candy and were able to calm her down. I am SO grateful for them as I was so focused on my son, I couldn't help my daughter calm down. They were absolute angels. The front desk was also extremely helpful in setting up an appointment with a Pediatric Orthopedist in their Summit Health group. They were able to get me an appointment first thing Monday morning. Thank you CityMD for helping us during this rough time! My son is doing so much better, loving his new blue cast, and zooming around in his wheelchair.

The website was user friendly. This was super helpful because as my partner drove I was able to get this all done rather than having to do it at the office. There was plenty of parking right in front. You have to get buzzed into the office. We walked in and were greeted by the front desk. There were a few other people waiting. I loved the online wait list feature that allows you to see how many people are ahead. My son loved that Peppa Pig was playing in the waiting area. We got called in a few minutes before our appointment time. The facility is nice and clean. There was a small TV in the room which we appreciated. The doctor (or PA - not sure) was SO good with my son. He was cranky because he's sick but he was super calm and cooperative with her which is not common at the doctor's office. We really appreciated how thorough she was and how well she treated him. The staff overall was friendly and helpful. We had a great experience at this location. We will definitely come back here.

While he seemed knowledgeable, his bedside manner was lacking. There was no compassion there. I didn't feel comfortable discussing another important personal health matter with him because of his demeanor. At the end of the day, I had my physical done and that's what matters but it wasn't the most positive experience. Fast forward to two months later. I made an appointment for 9AM for my follow up. I arrive at 8:55. When I arrive there is one other patient sitting and waiting to be seen. As I sit down, she is called in for Dr. Sims. I wait... wait and wait.... 45 minutes later I ask the nurse if my appointment was for 9 or 9:30. She told me it was 9:00 but there was another doctor there and there were no rooms available for me to be seen. That sounded like a crock of shit to me because the entire 45 minutes I was there, no patients came in or out. At 45 minutes, I walked out. And I felt good doing so. I didn't like him anyway and I don't wait 45 minutes for anyone. My time is just as valuable and as precious as his and if this is how patients are treated, I don't need to go there. I am currently having my records forwarded to another doctor. Additionally I met with Dr. Imbornone (sp?) on one occasion for an upper respiratory infection. Again, a very competent doctor but no bedside manner whatsoever. Very dry, no compassion, very clinical. My infection went away with the meds he gave me but there was no connection there. He didn't even shake my hand. Again, I guess this is how the doctors are there and for some people, that works. For me, I like a little more.

I have always found him to be gracious and understanding. Don't get me wrong. He IS a doctor, so he DOES sometimes go into clinical mode, but....if you ask him to break it down into layman's terms, he will. He IS a doctor, and he is going to tell you not to do all of the fun stuff that you wanna do (What? I can't eat cheeseburgers everyday?) But, if you ask him to deal in reality, he will certainly do so. Sorry that you didn't have a good experience, Jen. I have taken off a star solely for the front desk. Sometimes getting someone to answer the phone is like pulling teeth. Edited to add the following: I remember one time I went in to see Dr. Sims and I was feeling particularly miserable. I must have looked incredibly miserable because he actually gave me a hug. The hug wasn't inappropriate or creepy, it was actually very kind. Kudos, Dr. Sims!
