I was recently cared for by the Advance Medical Group team while admitted at Hackensack University, Medical Center. The nurse practitioners as well as Dr. Roman Prager were outstanding in their communication follow up transparency and desire to make me better. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and addressed all of my concerns. specifically, Dr. Roman visited me twice while I was in the hospital to make sure that his orders were being followed and I was feeling better. He even offered to help me find a ride home on discharge!! Dr. Roman is a real nice guy! Highly recommend this group!!! read more

I wanted to write this review for the AMG practice and in particular Dr. Alla Roitman who I have recently transferred to as my primary care physician. Not only is Dr. Roitman extremely knowledgeable and up to date on the latest medical advances, she is one of the most compassionate, helpful, caring and thorough doctors I have ever been to. I feel very grateful to have found her, travel over an hour to see her for any of my medical needs and highly recommend her as a family/primary care doctor. I would also like to recommend Lisa Marie who is a NP at the practice who is likewise very knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. The support staff has always been great as well and it's rare that I have had to wait extreme amounts of time as I have with other doctors in the past. Bobb-Mckoy and the AMG team are the best! When I call Josh is always with a positive attitude and friendly. When I arrive I am greeted by the fabulous Ariana, she always has a smile and she's kind. Review is for Linda Davt. This nurse practitioner was this at best. My girlfriend went to this practitioner last week for the initial visit at her Haledon office. The staff there treated her very kindly and was thorough with her. Then the NP went in to see her. (When meeting your doctor, don't you give a hand shake and greet yourself?!) she was describing her issues and what she should do. She has been having these really bad headaches for a week and a half. The NP did not even take 10mins with her. She was to come back to her the following week. I was uphauled at the way she diagnosed my girlfriend. We went to see the NP to get the results of her bloodwork and to tell her how her head was feeling. She said her headaches were feeling better but still felt something, not as bad but something. So the NP said continue what you are doing and it should be fine. Right after she went into a discovery with her bloodwork. At that point her headaches wasn't a concern. It was just a "so it a concern and will be this".(I DO NOT WISH TO DISCLOSE WHAT IT IS) then she wanted her to go to a specialist to get accurate findings or if there is any. I asked her 1 question, after I received that answer I did not want to ask anymore. (You can tell what type of person they are by the answer you get, body language and demor) For a diagnoses, if you are not 100% sure of your findings, do not, I repeat, DO NOT assume that type of outcome. Don't send her to a specialist and say they will have a better and more accurate finding than what I see here. She still has headaches and the NP diagnoses is poor. read more

Honestly if you enjoy long hold times and waiting hours in a doctors office then this is the place for you! When you do get in for your appointment you don't actually get to see the Doctor but a NP. If you need bloodwork results or an X-ray scheduled good luck getting your results as they don't give them over the phone and getting any type of service from the front desk is the run around game. New patient appointment confirmed and then day of called to rescheduled then on the day of the rescheduled appointment received a call to cancel. Apparently reading above review the doctor the appointment was with has left the practice. Office staff who called was extremely unprofessional. read more

So you receive a warm welcome from the staff everyone is pretty much kind. The wait times are bad. They do flu shots but not covid19 shots because they say it takes to long not ideal but hey. Also the Hackensack location is best if your close by Nurse Practitioners always seem to see you and then after a year or less they leave the building with no notice and your stuck with having to trust someone new. Parking is in the back could be a tad more parking spots and easier to get in and out. Also Nurse Practitioner Lane is one of the best bud he is new to nursing in that office and new he got his NP license in 2021 however he's smoking hot to look at mind you he's a good NP. I'd give 5 but they could give more shots and have more available to give a patient what they ask for instead of saying oh I don't think this it that will be good because it won't work long term idc if I ask for Ativan you give me what I ask for I'm paying you lol read more

I wasn't properly informed that if you don't have a car, you have to just wait outside, no chairs or anything. So if you have to Uber everywhere or get dropped off, this isn't the place for you. I was outside for 40 mins in the cold and finally when an employee spoke to me, it was to ask if I had an appointment. You have to call their general number, not the number for this specific place because I had informed them that I had been there already and not in a car and that I am cold. They just left me out there 20 mins past my appointment freezing and finally when they spoke to me it wasn't even to call me in. I understand that Covid is making everything complicated, but this is ridiculous. No accommodations for people with no cars? And it's not that I don't have a car, both of my feet have achilles tendinitis and I am going through post surgery issues. I was trying to inform the employee that I want to cancel and I don't want to be charged for a late cancel and she was completely ignoring everything I was saying to get me to stay. I cannot repeat this process because I can't drive in this point in my life and you NEED a car or you'll literally freeze. Also why are y'all open at 9AM and making appointments with people at 8-8:30AM????? To any AMG staff reading this, PUT A PHONE NUMBER FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SECRETARY ON THE DOOR. Why when I call it's the general AMG line and they're asking me which location I am at, what kind of nonsense is that????? read more

Advance medical group it's just a business more than a personal care for the patient the office staff looks inadequate to me and they do things that are not that smart as far as filling prescriptions and stuff and other things like that like dr. Ibraham seems to me that he has more Patient said he can deal with I got them for my visit but half hour early they put me in a room I was in the room for one hour and in the examining room why don't you just wait to my time to go in was and then put them in some room for one hour and nobody's coming in to see me not happy with that office at all they had to wait five weeks for an appointment reschedule appointment because I had to get in my right foot five weeks Then he doesn't like the bloodwork from Hackensack hospital laboratory he wants you to go to Quest's I'm making sense to me most was Patient from Hackensack and in the blood work done at Hackensack hospital I don't get it so somethings wrong with that picture since like the way the numbers come out they come out differently then then quest quest does a better job I don't let his opinion read more

I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful provider. I've had the same provider for many years and when he retired I didn't know what to do. I started trying different offices but I wasn't satisfied. There was always something that was missing. The doctors didn't have enough compassion for their career to give me the time and care I needed or the staff lacked knowledge and were down rite rude. I did find an office where the staff were super friendly and welcoming but not all the doctors we worth my copay. When I discovered Advanced Medical Group and had the opportunity to meet Vanessa for my consult, I thought wow I hit the jackpot. The staff was welcoming and Vanessa clearly loves what she does. She took the time to get to know as much as she needed to come up with a proper plan of care. She's warm, very caring, knowledgeable and inviting. I even got to crack a few jokes on my visit.She will explain everything in terms the average person not in the medical field would understand. She's easy to talk to and you can truly see her love for what she does when interacting with her. She's not only a great provider in person but I also had the pleasure of my first Virtual visit and she was equally as awesome. She attended to all my needs and I was able to get my medications. Since I've been in Vanessa's care my health has truly gone back on track. I'm beyond blessed and grateful to have found such a gem. I can't say enough thank you for everything Vanessa has done but I can continue to spread her name and her practice so that others can have this world class experience. read more
