Lots of young but well educated and trained endocrinologists housed in a lovely converted Victorian home. Clean and welcoming environment. All of the staff I encountered were nice and professional. The technique of the Doctor during the needle biopsy was excellent. They explained everything as they went along including the risks relate to the condition I presented with. I am praying for good outcomes and I get the feeling I will have really good care with them. There is parking in the back of the building which I didn't know about as I parked on the street. I was a patient at this practice for a short time while seeking in-network care for hormone-related issues, particularly thyroid concerns. The initial bloodwork ordered was quite basic and lacked thoroughness. While Dr. RB was polite, their approach felt very conventional and "by the book." Endocrinology is a highly complex field, and many patients--like myself--with intricate or non-standard issues require providers who are willing to think outside traditional guidelines. My test results showed hormone levels that were technically "in range," but far from optimal for good health. As many experts note, "in range" simply means within the broad reference values derived from the general population seeking testing--it does not necessarily indicate optimal function. During my follow-up visit, I felt somewhat dismissed because my results fell within those reference ranges. Additionally, I called the office with an important question for the doctor and never received a return call. When my long-time integrative physician returned from vacation and reviewed the same lab results, he immediately pointed out key omissions, such as Free T3 and Free T4 testing. He described my TSH as sluggish, ordered a spot urine iodine test, and provided a much more comprehensive evaluation. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this practice. As someone with a complex case, I need a provider equipped to address issues that don't fit neatly within standard protocols, and I did not feel this practice met that need. read more

I am two weeks into trying to get my paperwork sent over to my new PCP and to myself. I get hung up countless times and no one responds to my email. I'ce expressed urgency countless times. My appointment is now today. I am considering contacting the BBB. read more

I give one star only because I could not give less, I went away from endocrinology consultants because the insurance process was very iffy and that they would not fully tell you whether they took your insurance or not until it was time to pay your bill. Well during this trying time of the Corona virus and every other medical practice is following suit, I was scheduled to have a telehealth conference as they call it, a phone interview with an associate of doctor Schwartz, I was then later called in order to collect my co-pay. Where everywhere else COpays are not being taken I believe this is an atrocity and that the practice who says is there for us should be completely ashamed of themselves. Underlying conditions is the reason at this point, why so many people are afraid of the virus I definitely will be looking for a new endocronologist to take care of my diabetes..... read more

Receptionist with a bad demeanor. She immediately put me on hold after an inept laughing/talking bit in background. She came back and asked again what I wanted only to cavalierly inform me she could not give me any information about whether they could take my insurance or not. She then said I would have to submit all of my personal information at the first appointment to see if I qualified for any coverage! If Dr. Schwartz is so highly qualified, why would his staff be so incredibly unprofessional and why would his practice conduct itself in such a shifty way? read more

I can't speak enough about how wonderful this practice is. To start with, when I called to schedule an appointment, they accommodated my work schedule (which was not easy to do). I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived for my visit and the office waiting room was so comfortable and the staff were super friendly. Very little waiting time. The doctor was super skillful - and tactful. He gave it to me straight and reassured me. I was so nervous when I went in, and came out much more relaxed knowing he could help me. Since leaving this review I have, within 24 hours, received 4 calls from the office. Two dropped calls and two voicemails. I answered one of the calls - in the middle of my work day - and the person on the phone didn't tell me what relation they have to the practice or why they were phoning until I asked twice. I was then told that it was "just a follow-up because (they) noticed I hadn't booked my next appointment". I don't think the timing is a coincidence... I politely asked if I could phone the person back at a better time, asking for their hours of availability and saying I would phone back this week but not today. Minutes ago - not only blatantly disregarding my request not to speak today but unprofessionally phoning me from both a restricted number and close to 9pm - I get a voicemail from the same person saying she, again, wanted to "follow-up". read more

This review is solely on the front desk receptionist. From the moment I stepped foot into the office, she had a huge attitude and was nothing by rude and borderline disrespectful. There was another girl sitting next to her who witnessed my discomfort and THANK GOD helped me out. All the other girls, including the Phlebotomist and the doctor I met were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and respectful. Not sure what happened to the front desk but if I can give her a zero, I would. I never thought first impressions had a big impact at a doctors office but they definitely do and I do not feel I would return to this office other than to receive my results. read more
