I've gone to New Century Imaging in Oradell on multiple occasions for various tests for about 10 years and they are phenomenal. From scheduling, to pre-registering, wait time to be seen, the actual test, the staff's professionalism, and everything in between. I 100% recommend this facility for all of your imaging needs. The availability to book very soon is a very important factor to me and on multiple occasions I've been able to get in next day. Beware the third-party billing department -- I paid my copay (thank goodness I had a receipt), yet I still received follow up text and email messages that there was a balance owed on my account. Signing back into my account, it showed a balance -- EVEN THOUGH I HAD PAID IT. I called the third-party billing agency and they said my account still showed a balance . . . even though THEY could also see that I had paid my copay 2 weeks prior. New Century Imaging itself is great -- clean, efficient, easy to schedule. But look out for being double-billed. read more

I've been here a few times and the imaging has generally been fine. They have been fairly efficient in checking you in and getting you called in a reasonable time. The staff are good too but when I went there recently, it seemed like they could have been friendlier and more compassionate in their interactions. Again, not bad, but maybe trading in efficiency for a smile or kind word. It can be easy to miss the opening to turn into the building and Kinderkamack can be a pain to turn especially during rush hour. read more

I am rather frustrated with this place. Good luck if you're a workman's comp case. They will refuse to see you if you do not have a case number or the insurance of your place of work. My place of work is closed for two days out of the week, I would have had no problem paying out of pocket and then getting reimbursed by workman's comp. For my experience this time, I would give a star. However, I have been to this facility before. The facility is impressive, even though it was near impossible for me to get an appointment here. I left the doctors office and called here to make an appointment for an X-ray. I was able to book a spot as short as 30 minutes out. Went in and in matter of minutes was through the reception desk and getting my X-ray. It was a total of no more than 10 minutes from walking in to leaving this center. I've been going to this imaging center for years to get my mammogram done... They always get my test done in record time! I have PTSD, therefore my anxiety is often at a high level on an average day let alone on the day I am getting a nerve wracking test done. Very well run. The wait was about 30 minutes but the waiting room was full when I arrived. Once I was called everything went smoothly. I needed 3 different x-rays but after each one, the wait time for the next xray was just minutes. I would recommend this establishment. read more

This is the 2nd time I've been here and the service is horrible. First, they request I arrive at 12:15 for a 12:30 appointment, it is now 1:00 and I am still sitting in my car! They have ZERO respect for peoples time. They did the same thing last year and I wanted to give them one more shot. Secondly, they sent me a "pre-check in" twice, after completing it and receiving confirmations on both they still sent a text indicating they didn't have a signature on file. I had an ultrasound of my Fallopian tubes to ensure there wasn't any blockage and found the process to be efficient and good. It was crowded in the waiting room, but I didn't have to wait too long. Extremely long wait!! Almost 90 min for a simple routine exam. I've been coming here for years but it just keeps getting worse.

I have all my "imaging" done here - mammograms, bone density, and any other X-rays I should need. I can usually get a convenient appointment quickly. The staff here is very friendly, helpful and efficient. If I should need a Rx for a test and I don't have it from my doctor, they get it quickly. I rarely need to wait very long. Test results are usually provided before I leave, and are promptly sent to my doctor. The facility is clean and comfortable and the equipment appears to be the latest. Avoid this place by all means. I have never seen a medical organization operate with the lack of efficiency that New Century Imaging has exhibited, and that is not an exaggeration. This facility does not honor your appointment time and they dont show any sort of remorse for making people wait an hour or more after their scheduled visit time. I had the displeasure of having to go to this facility 2 times in the period of a week, the first time for an xray, which I waited for 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The second to go back for an MRI, which was another 45 minute delay. All the while, I hear the staff having a ball behind the counter, not giving a rip about the patients who are awaiting their scheduled procedure, often times in pain. The receptionist then has the gall to tell me that there are are sometimes unexpected delays. Well, that may be the case, but if that is a possibility then plan adequately for possible issues like this instead of booking people so close together. Why should I have a problem because you don't show enough foresight or decency to respect a scheduled appointment? Simply put, this is the most unorganized imaging facility I have been to. Why do they even bother scheduling appointments if they have no intention on honoring the time I set aside. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that people who need medical imagining have to wait this long and deal with this level of incompetence. Adriana did my mamo and please stay clear of her. Although she was very nice, she was rushed and rough! She actually hurt me so bad that I has to ask her to lift the vice grip. I had an arthrogram at this place back in May. I confirmed my insurance with two separate receptionists. Both assured me that I was in network. Four months later I received a bill for over $400. Upon investigating with NSI and my insurance, I find out that they are out of network and do not participate with my insurance (hence can bill whatever they want). read more

I have had many visits to NCI over the years. Although the care has been excellent, the exemplary care I received today required me to again write something. The front end staff was friendly and efficient, especially Simma (sp?) She helped me to make my appointment. But of SPECIAL MENTION was the MRI technician named Jennifer. Im writing this review in hopes that I finally get someone to call me back and sit down and speak with me. recently received a letter in the mail stated I am being sued by NCI and of course I decide to investigate further. I have multiple miscellaneous bills from NCI from 2010 and 2011 and I have never seen or heard of these bills. No one has sent a letter, no one has called, I only find out 4-5 years later from an attorney. I have been there after, with no mention of these "late bills", which I am trying to seek verification from my insurance company BUT no one is still calling me back to help me (its been about two-three months now, multiple messages and emails have been sent). New Century Imaging, you are starting to gain a reputation as a place that loves to screw their patrons and actually effect their personal lives a great deal by screwing up their credit. Get organized, return phone calls and if people owe $25 and they haven't paid, lets only assume they have NO IDEA. read more
