I've gone to New Century Imaging in Oradell on multiple occasions for various tests for about 10 years and they are phenomenal. From scheduling, to pre-registering, wait time to be seen, the actual test, the staff's professionalism, and everything in between. I 100% recommend this facility for all of your imaging needs. The availability to book very soon is a very important factor to me and on multiple occasions I've been able to get in next day. I had the pleasure recently to have Amy as my ultrasound tech 2x and she is absolutely wonderful. Her professionalism and personality put me completely at ease. read more

The problem was the very first person we met. Friday morning, 9/18, the front desk behind the plexiglass. I won't name her. Polite questions were answered as if we were bothering her. No eye contact, then straight back to her phone. When we were told to return the iPad the corner where we received it was busy so we went back to the first person. She was on her phone again. She looked up and said, "Yes?" Not "How can I help you?" Just "Yes?" Think about why people come to a place like this. Nobody is here on a good day. People walk in nervous, sometimes scared, waiting on answers that can change their lives. The first face they see sets the tone for everything that follows. A little warmth at that desk costs nothing, and it means everything to someone who is holding it together for the person they love. The clinical team deserves 5 stars. The cleanliness and equipment is 5/5. The first impression brings it to a 1 so I hope management reads this, because the rest of the staff deserves a front desk that matches the care they give. read more

Beware the third-party billing department -- I paid my copay (thank goodness I had a receipt), yet I still received follow up text and email messages that there was a balance owed on my account. Signing back into my account, it showed a balance -- EVEN THOUGH I HAD PAID IT. I called the third-party billing agency and they said my account still showed a balance . . . even though THEY could also see that I had paid my copay 2 weeks prior. New Century Imaging itself is great -- clean, efficient, easy to schedule. But look out for being double-billed. read more

I've been here a few times and the imaging has generally been fine. They have been fairly efficient in checking you in and getting you called in a reasonable time. The staff are good too but when I went there recently, it seemed like they could have been friendlier and more compassionate in their interactions. Again, not bad, but maybe trading in efficiency for a smile or kind word. It can be easy to miss the opening to turn into the building and Kinderkamack can be a pain to turn especially during rush hour. read more

The testing is fantastic. Everyone at New century is great. Except for the billing department. I pay all my copays at time of service. I am receiving statements that I owe money. I sent them my receipt that I have paid everything. read more

I showed up for my appointment this morning and it was the wrong day (my mistake). I was expecting them to tell me to come back on the right day (which is what most places do). To my surprise, the 2 lovely women at the desk asked me to wait and fit me in. I made it for my allotted time and was able to go to work. They were friendly, accommodating and had a great attitude. What a great way to start my day. Thank you, ladies! read more

Be there 15 mins early..., so then you can wait not only 15 mins but an additional 20 in the cold to get you exam!! This is ok way to treat customers!!! It was a 8 am appointment. read more

I am rather frustrated with this place. Good luck if you're a workman's comp case. They will refuse to see you if you do not have a case number or the insurance of your place of work. My place of work is closed for two days out of the week, I would have had no problem paying out of pocket and then getting reimbursed by workman's comp. For my experience this time, I would give a star. However, I have been to this facility before. The facility is impressive, even though it was near impossible for me to get an appointment here. That is why an extra star was given. read more

I left the doctors office and called here to make an appointment for an X-ray. I was able to book a spot as short as 30 minutes out. Went in and in matter of minutes was through the reception desk and getting my X-ray. It was a total of no more than 10 minutes from walking in to leaving this center. Very quick process with friendly staff. read more

Very nice people that work here with a spacious lobby, loads of parking, and many rooms and hallways behind the scenes that can take in a lot of patients. Pricing is great so if you had to pay out of pocket for something it won't be as bad as a hospital. They also complete any tests in a timely matter read more

Although I was happy with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the office, there was quite a long wait. The most disturbing part of my visit was the ultrasound tech. She was unnecessarily rough and rude. I will not be going back. read more

I've been going to this imaging center for years to get my mammogram done... They always get my test done in record time! I have PTSD, therefore my anxiety is often at a high level on an average day let alone on the day I am getting a nerve wracking test done. Yesterday I had my mammogram done by Michelle she was absolutely amazing! Very compassionate ,kind and gentle she definitely made the experience comfortable. I dearly appreciate the staff and their level of caring. read more

Arrive at 8 am I was told on phone and online- 'noooo go out to your car and we will text you when you can come in as we can't have anyone sitting in here' - what are those people doing? 'Ohhh they are waiting for their appointments (sitting in chairs)' What are they talking about??? Always bizarre here.....hurry up and wait is the name of the game. What is the point of washing customers time? Is it a power play???? Never improves read more

37 minutes past appointment. 8 pm MRI appointment and I was told when I arrived that were running 15 to 20 minutes late. They should reschedule. read more

Very well run. The wait was about 30 minutes but the waiting room was full when I arrived. Once I was called everything went smoothly. I needed 3 different x-rays but after each one, the wait time for the next xray was just minutes. I would recommend this establishment. read more

This is the 2nd time I've been here and the service is horrible. First, they request I arrive at 12:15 for a 12:30 appointment, it is now 1:00 and I am still sitting in my car! They have ZERO respect for peoples time. They did the same thing last year and I wanted to give them one more shot. Secondly, they sent me a "pre-check in" twice, after completing it and receiving confirmations on both they still sent a text indicating they didn't have a signature on file. I will not be returning again, how they can request you arrive 15 minutes early only to sit in your car for an hour with no contact is absurd. read more

11:45 appointment and still waiting for second part of test at 1:30...unless you get the first appointment expect to waste many hours here. The only reason I come is because I only have to once a year and now I'm thinking of changing even from this one day. Why is it such an issue to keep a schedule? Is it really that difficult? read more

Went here once and there was so many people in the lobby it was overwhelming. They took us literally promptly and we were in and out I. 20 minutes. So wonderful! read more

I had an ultrasound of my Fallopian tubes to ensure there wasn't any blockage and found the process to be efficient and good. It was crowded in the waiting room, but I didn't have to wait too long. The nurse who stayed with me during the exam was amazing, kind, and empathetic. She thoroughly explained the entire process to me; and the doctor who did the examination was great too. read more

I was so apprehensive and nervous getting my first mammogram. Everyone was so kind and gentle and positive made me feel really relaxed. the imaging itself in spite of what I've heard was not uncomfortable at all I kept waiting to feel discomfort and I felt none. New Century imaging is great! The billing department is another story worse billing ever, I sent the billing the department the EOB plus proof that I paid the invoice. Avoid this place by all means. I have never seen a medical organization operate with the lack of efficiency that New Century Imaging has exhibited, and that is not an exaggeration. This facility does not honor your appointment time and they dont show any sort of remorse for making people wait an hour or more after their scheduled visit time. I had the displeasure of having to go to this facility 2 times in the period of a week, the first time for an xray, which I waited for 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The second to go back for an MRI, which was another 45 minute delay. All the while, I hear the staff having a ball behind the counter, not giving a rip about the patients who are awaiting their scheduled procedure, often times in pain. The receptionist then has the gall to tell me that there are are sometimes unexpected delays. Well, that may be the case, but if that is a possibility then plan adequately for possible issues like this instead of booking people so close together. Why should I have a problem because you don't show enough foresight or decency to respect a scheduled appointment? Simply put, this is the most unorganized imaging facility I have been to. Why do they even bother scheduling appointments if they have no intention on honoring the time I set aside. It is absolutely ridiculous to think that people who need medical imagining have to wait this long and deal with this level of incompetence. If your doctor asks you to go here, demand a different facility, you will just leave aggravated read more

Extremely long wait!! Almost 90 min for a simple routine exam. I've been coming here for years but it just keeps getting worse.

I have all my "imaging" done here - mammograms, bone density, and any other X-rays I should need. I can usually get a convenient appointment quickly. The staff here is very friendly, helpful and efficient. If I should need a Rx for a test and I don't have it from my doctor, they get it quickly. I rarely need to wait very long. Test results are usually provided before I leave, and are promptly sent to my doctor. The facility is clean and comfortable and the equipment appears to be the latest. I've come here for many years and I've never had a problem. read more

I am grateful to New Century Imaging for finding my breast cancer early. They were kind and thorough.

Adriana did my mamo and please stay clear of her. Although she was very nice, she was rushed and rough! She actually hurt me so bad that I has to ask her to lift the vice grip. She pinched my underarm so bad that I have bruising. I am not one to wince at mamo discomfort, but this was the most painful one I ever experienced! read more

I had an arthrogram at this place back in May. I confirmed my insurance with two separate receptionists. Both assured me that I was in network. Four months later I received a bill for over $400. Upon investigating with NSI and my insurance, I find out that they are out of network and do not participate with my insurance (hence can bill whatever they want). read more

I have had many visits to NCI over the years. Although the care has been excellent, the exemplary care I received today required me to again write something. The front end staff was friendly and efficient, especially Simma (sp?) She helped me to make my appointment. But of SPECIAL MENTION was the MRI technician named Jennifer. She was supportive, kind, knowledgable and extremely caring. She is the GOLD STANDARD of what a medical person should be! NCI is lucky to have her! AND SO ARE HER PATIENTS! read more

I have to say NCI is stepping up it's game. It would be 5 stars if the would get rid of latex products. Facility is clean. Check in was a breeze. Pre registration was great. Nurse gave me a quick IV and my MRI techs were wonderful. Disk were burned quickly. Lovely experience. read more

I have been coming here for many years and have had numerous tests (Pet, Cat, Mri, Mra ultrasounds and mammos. This is the only place I will go. This place is terrible they don't respect your appointment time I left after waiting over an hour for my schedule appointment time. The waiting room was still full of people that were there before me. They clearly don't know how to book appointments properly. If I could give a ZERO or lower I would. I have called the staff in Oradell for 5 days straight. Each time I get a different person and each person could careless to help. I felt like I was in a bad SNL skit. No one goes the extra step to help, understand and find a solution. In the end, I truly think they are committing some type of insurance fraud. The staff is atrocious and they should all be ashamed of themselves and how they speak with and treat their patience. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!! read more

I specifically requested for the radiologist to comment on previous findings from PET scans as my oncologist told me to it was Ok to do; and the request was ignored. Im writing this review in hopes that I finally get someone to call me back and sit down and speak with me. recently received a letter in the mail stated I am being sued by NCI and of course I decide to investigate further. I have multiple miscellaneous bills from NCI from 2010 and 2011 and I have never seen or heard of these bills. No one has sent a letter, no one has called, I only find out 4-5 years later from an attorney. I have been there after, with no mention of these "late bills", which I am trying to seek verification from my insurance company BUT no one is still calling me back to help me (its been about two-three months now, multiple messages and emails have been sent). New Century Imaging, you are starting to gain a reputation as a place that loves to screw their patrons and actually effect their personal lives a great deal by screwing up their credit.
