I honestly can say that Dr. Jill Zeiger is one of my most favorite doctors I ever encountered. I trust her implicitly. When I came in with a nasty looking dog bite, I could tell Dr. Zeiger was genuinely concerned for my well-being. She threw everything she had at her disposal to help me but when that wasn't enough, she urged me to go to the ER. Thank God she did because things could've gotten much more serious very fast. Since then, it's always such a comfort to see Dr. Zeiger's face when I come to the Doctor's Office. My family has been in numerous times for various illnesses and we always walk out feeling taken care of. Friends and colleagues have shared the same experiences with me and I'm always recommending this location to those looking for urgent care. If not for Dr. Zeiger, I don't know if I'd feel the same way. She's a gem! read more

Unacceptable, I suffered terribly after going here. Please read this. I had a small but uncomfortable red spot at the base of my nostril (1/2 size of a dime, maybe smaller) This "doctor" took my urine, after examining my nose and sdvising me to FIRST, fill script THEN, follow up with my dermatologist. She said I'll be back in a few to provide you with paperwork, diagnosis and script. Someone came in, one of the staff members and hand me a cup and said she wants your urine to be tested - I had no idea why or how this could be when we were just together and it was about my nose. I asked him what for? He replied she will have to go over that with you. So I did it. This doctor came back in and I asked why she took my urine and she said, I almost don't believe I'm writing this, I've run several tests for STDs. I absolutely lost my mind! First of all who the hell is she to question anything like that she would need to ask me some questions about my sexual activity, I asked her what STDs has to do with my nose she had no answer. I left there and for some strange reason since it had been burning under my nose I figured let me fill this prescription Huge mistake! I was then in a situation where I was given a VERY strong, dangerous ointment which resulted in a SEVERE infection - taking the entire side of my face over & according to my dermatologist exasperating anything that could have been wrong to begin with as well as causing this to be 1 DAY away from my bloodstream. The woman that was 10 seconds in front of me with an ear ache. Had been gone for 20 mins? She was seen quickly and efficiently. Meanwhile I'm at 54 minutes after my 9am appointment. Still waiting, I'm in intense pain and no one here cares. Don't let them fool you with their fake appointments. It's a scam to get you through the door. I have to say!!! I come to The Doctors Office more than my primary doctor. My primary doctor has limited hours. The office has great hours 7 days a week ( M-F 8:00am to 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 8:00am to 4:00pm). I Love Dr. Jill Zeiger. She is an Awesome doctor, very down to earth, thorough and explains everything with full detail. I highly recommend this office, The staff is always welcoming and nice and accommodating. Stay away!!! Billing nightmare!!! Have insurance and went twice for a Covid test. Initially things were coded incorrectly "apparently" but after 4 phone calls fixed. I have written prove from my insurance that they FULLY paid the claim (Covid test- we all know Covid tests are 100% covered by insurance) yet this Doctors office continues to claim they didn't get full payment. THEY DID- have provided check numbers, transaction number and written prove from my insurance. If you go- know you will pay out of pocket and it's them just trying to make extra money! Also extremely unhelpful when you call their billing!!!! COVID TESTS ARE FREE WITH INSURANCE!!!!!! They know there shouldn't be any bill or balance foe the patient with covid tests!!! SCAM!!! Just got my COVD 19 PCR test. Made an appointment a day in advance. I love that the Drs come outside and no contact to enter the building. I have taken PCR tests before at other urgent care facilities and each time i am leary to get the test as I am jumping into a room filled with COVID symptomatic people. I was so sick past Friday my doctor office could not see me because no doctors available so I called The Doctor Urgent care they took me right away. i was tested negative for Covid and Flu. I had a bad sinus infection they gave me medication still recovery but so appreciative because my doctor could not see me till Monday. I would of ended in the hospital. The information on your website needs to be changed to reflect that you are unable to do antibody testing in your parking lot while patients stay in their cars. It says on your website that all COVID-19 testing can be done while in your car. It also says not to make an appointment on your site, but when I called someone else had said that we needed to make an appointment. I was told after getting to your office and filling out forms that I would have to come inside. This is after 2 different people said that all COVID-19 testing can be done from the car. I will add that this doctor's office has been good in the past when not dealing with COVID-19, but I was really unhappy with my experience there today and how much of my time was wasted. I'm immunocompromised and chronically ill and if I had known I would need to come inside a doctor's office and risk being exposed COVID I wouldn't have bothered coming. read more

STAY AWAY. I tested positive for Covid and my results stated negative due to them not having the right phone number for me. No one verifies information when you check in, they just wanna know insurance information. They are to busy worrying about what the next person isn't doing and who is watching movies in the back room while the other is "checking" in patients. I had Covid and they failed to let me know, After phone calls and my portal stating negative. I returned to work and exposed everyone in my work place because of them failing to have the right information for their patients, mind you I've been here a numerous amount of times, I've paid $70 in co pays to this company, for them to fail me. We overheard the doctor loudly venting about a patient to another employee. She said " I'm gonna pretend like I care when I really don't. I don't care at all. She really should be going to Hackensack in the first place but it's not my problem." The doctor shouldn't be openly discussing someone's medical problems for everyone in the facility to hear. Almost positive that's a violation of HIPAA. Also, if she is going to ridicule a patient for coming for help and does not care about her patients, maybe she is in the wrong profession. Came to get my Covid PCR test for travel. The first thing I noticed was the timeliness in which things were done. The registration, temperature and Oxygenation rate check. Thereafter, Dr. Chaudhary came to the car and painlessly and swiftly did the swab test. Everything was to perfection. Now, hoping test results are expedited. Recommend this facility. read more

I had a bad poison ivy allergy last week. This office is only a few minutes from my work. I did not wait more than 10 minutes before I was seen by Dr Zeiger's assistant. Then Dr Zeiger saw me and offered options of treatment. She gave me the medication right there and explained to me precautions to take in case of future contacts with poison ivy. The office then sent my prescription to my local pharmacist. Now a week later, my rashes and blisters are all dried up. What excellent service! read more

This place is just awesome. I have been here quite often due to Covid testing. Scheduling has been tough due to the influx of people and testing, but if you have time and some patience, it's worth it. Just schedule, show up, check in, and the nurses are out to your car in no time. Much better than that disgrace AFC Urgent Care in Hillsdale. I was just getting there yesterday when I walked into the lobby,a woman behind the check in area was yelling at someone on the phone.She identified herself as a doctor and just picked up the phone yelling " do you want me to put this on speaker so 150 people in the waiting room can hear you?".She seemed unhinged.Honestly it scared me to see someone who identified herself as a physician behaving like a crazy person.I turned around and left.Quickly.Theres a proliferation of urgent care facilities all over Bergen County...I feel bad for whoever was on the other end of that phone call....... read more

This use to be my go to place but never again. It states walk ins are welcome but not so much. I went in 50 minutes prior to close and was told that they would be closing in 30 minutes and they were already full and no doctor could see me. Mind you no patients in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room. When I asked what time they close because I thought they close at 8:00. She said we are closing in 30 minutes which is before 8:00. Will need go here again or recommend this place. read more

Several months ago I suddenly experience an episode of vertigo and was afraid to drive myself home. I pulled into the Doctor's Office Urgent Care and was immediately seen by Jill Zeiger, MD. She took a complete history, listened, ordered appropriate tests and contacted my cardiologist. I was impressed by her competency and sincere concern for me. Today, I was asked to bring my teen grandson for immediate care when he awoke with severe pain in his eye. Once again, Dr. Zeiger attended to him with patience. She spoke directly to him with interest and knowledge. We left feeling assured and confident that a thorough examination was done and he would be fine. This second encounter is what now prompts this review. As a nurse for many years, I appreciate the personal attention and efficient care rendered by Dr. Zeiger. I also took note of the cleanliness of the office, prompt service, and adherence to COVID protocols. I went to The Doctor's office urgent care of Paramus because one of my eyes was red for two days and I needed to get it checked out ASAP. The Dr. prescribed me medication antibiotics, but my pharmacy never got the prescription. I called the office twice, and the doctor who was seeing me yesterday was not there.They said they were busy and needed to ask another doctor to send my prescription to the pharmacy, WHEN THEY HAVE THE TIME. My original doctor should have been the one to send the prescription. Never again will I be going here! read more

CONSUMER ALERT THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE FOR "FREE COVID TEST" If you call their phone number you will hear them say Covid swab testing (pcr) is free. My son had 2 and we received a bill for $780 from their billing company and the threat of sending it to collections! if you call the office number there's no way to reach the office manager and all you can do is talk to their billing company who will tell you, "well that's the information we have". There is NO way to reach an "office manager" at the number "she" provides to yelp comments. It's (201) 265-9500 you can try it yourself. I hate to put negative reviews up but when a company won't let you talk to an office manager in order to discuss an issue, bills you for something they advertise as free, and has literally no way of checking in with a person in that office it really doesn't leave me a choice. And when you profiteer during a pandemic you should be investigated. I will be filing a complaint with the division of consumer affairs. read more

I am a student who does not have health care, so I cannot afford much to be done. However I had a uti and needed to come in to get it checked. Dr. Ziegler prescribed me an antibiotic (nitrofurantoin) that made me feel twice as worse as the infection made me feel which was fucking great. She heavily insisted that this antibiotic was necessary, despite it being a normal uti that a generic bactrim would have taken care off easily. Then HEAVILY insisted that she send the urine culture out to be tested just to "make sure" despite me telling her I cant afford it. The only reason why i agreed was because she said they would discount my bill. Now I'm looking at a $200 lab bill that I cant afford because SHE did not apply the discount. Like I understand that doctors make money off of the prescriptions they send out and give, but I honestly am sitting here hurt and frustrated because i feel like they just milked out of me as much money as they could get away with. Not to mention that I went back for a follow up and the amoxicillin she prescribed me isnt working either. Now I dont have the funding to see a doctor to get it fixed because seeing the doctors office plus the prescription costed me $350. I guess I just have to wait and see if it goes away. I want to cry. And the front desk receptionist repeatedly cut me off on the phone and hung up. Absolutely rude. read more

I needed a chest x-ray prescribed by my PCP. I called the Doctor's Office and they told me I did not need an appointment. I walked in and showed my prescription to the receptionist. She said she didn't need the prescription and checked me in. A few minutes later another nurse took my vitals and asked me to wait in a room. Almost 40 minutes later, a technician named Reshma came in the room, and when she saw the prescription, she freaked out and said they don't do x-rays based on an order from personal doctor. I was denied service even though I mentioned to at least three people, including one who answered the phone, that I had a prescription order for rib x-rays. No respect for patient's time and urgency to provide care just because they are misinformed. The staff should fully know the requirements before they make a patient in pain wait for 45 minutes, only to turn him away. read more

I made an appointment for 4:10pm for a Covid Test. I arrived at 4pm and had called this facility several times as soon as I arrived. For about a half an hour no one picked up and there was no way to leave a message to confirm my arrival. When I finally got in touch with them to confirm my arrival, the receptionist told me someone would be right out. That never happened. In fact, I had to call 4 more times while sitting in their parking lot to find out what was going on as I watched several cars arrive after me and get tested without any issues. I waited almost 2 hours to finally be tested only for the nurse who ran the test to be very rude to me. The doctors and nurses who ran the tests never changed gloves between testing different patients. I made sure to closely watch to see how sanitized they were being given I am immuno-compromised and take my health very seriously! In fact, the nurse went to swab me with stick upside down and I caught it before he shoved it up my nose. When I asked them to please change gloves and to get a new swab, the nurse gave me a dirty look and said "No, I can't do that". I then told the nurse that I will be refusing the test because of this. He told me I couldn't because if I did there wouldn't be any test to send into a lab and a way to bill my insurance company so therefore, I would be responsible for payment of the test, which I was told would be $1000!!! They also never took my vitals and never asked me to confirm my birthdate with name. This facility is very disorganized. Do NOT recommend. I will be calling corporate in regards to this and how I was treated on Monday. read more

The office was professional, clean and there was no wait. I had a sinus infection but the Dr gave me a low dose of antibiotics 500 MG. The last time I got that dosage was 10 years ago. Whenever I hear someone taking antibiotics now, it is usually 865 mg​ because 500 doesn't clear up infections anymore especially sinus infections. Hopefully they will work or I have to go back. read more

This review is coming from a Doctor and a Nurse with years of experience seeing patients in many different health care settings. By far this is one of the best experiences we have had. Needed COVID testing for travel to another state. Drove in, called from car, within literally one minute of parking (3 of us) were having our vitals taken. All demographic and insurance information was taken over the phone. A lovely and knowledgeable Doctor (Dr. Urman), took the nasal swabs and we were on our way. Results usually within 3 days. Too often we are quick to complain, I had to post this review right away because I felt it so important that they be recognized.
