I honestly love this place it's always my go to for seafood boils! The customer service is amazing our waiter was so sweet and friendly, always making sure our drinks were full and we had everything we needed. We started with their fries you can never go wrong fresh, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Then came the feast peeled shrimp, potatoes, corn, black mussels, and snow crab legs... everything was absolutely delicious. We tore it up! To top it off we had churros with ice cream for dessert which were just as amazing. The vibe of the place is perfect, great lighting, comfortable seating and TVs to catch your favorite sports. Came here for restaurant week and it did not quite meet my expectations. First, they required everyone at the table to order the restaurant week menu so we opted to just order from the menu since it was actually more affordable and we weren't that interested in trying their dessert. The seafood gumbo with rice was good, no complaints! The seafood boil was overcooked which made the corn mushy and the shrimp tough. Luckily it didn't affect the crab leg cluster which still tasted great. On the plus side, the location is good and there is ample parking. Inside is one very large room. It could get very loud. We were sorry they do not use or have available Old Bay. Their "Cajun" spice was in some cases too much and in others not enough. Also less likely to have to wait for a table and great for large parties. Service was really good, as well as the food. I normally get the snow crab cluster but this time I ordered both the snow crab and Dungeness crab to compare. I prefer the Dungeness crab ($1 more than the snow crab per cluster) better because the legs are a bit thicker. I also had some shrimp (headless) and clams. The corn was extra sweet, and the sausage was flavorful. I haven't been out to eat at this type of seafood place in a while, so I was shocked at how high the prices are now. I have eaten at the Lakewood & Denver locations for a few years, and I have never been disappointed in their shrimp, crab legs, corn & sausage in a bag. The original seasoning is delicious and I'm a mild, not hot, seafood lover. The staff is always very attentive and friendly, and we have never had to wait for a table. The restrooms are clean and I have no complaints. My family and I went to the Lakewood location for dinner with a large crowd recently, had reservations for 6 PM, and the restaurant's atmosphere was quiet and not packed. The first restaurant I ever stepped food in since COVID hit. It's a familiar setting since we used to come here for the buffet a lot. Needless to say it's a huge establishment and plenty of room for physical distance. I would've liked for their table sizes to be bigger, since the style of food and way of eating call for that, especially with all the delicious mess involved! Our waitress was bubbly and had a nice voice. Give us good recommendations and checked on us frequently - even took our group picture! My family and I are procrastinators so we didn't make any plans for Easter. We found this place just by looking online for restaurants open on Easter, glad we did. As for the food my family is from Texas so crawfish is a big deal down there and the only complaint I have about the crawfish is that I wish they were alittle bigger, that I would have gotten medium instead of mild and ordered more then just a pound. I love Cajun seafood places. This restaurant was set to open just as covid rolled in do opening was delayed. I had time today so my girlfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch. The place is clean and bright, shiny new. It has a great sports bar area with several flat screens to watch the games. We were sat quickly and there was only a few other people in the place. Our server was Stephen and was wonderful. Friendly, fast and he knew the menu and the options which was quite pleasant. We took his recommendations on most everything. From order to eating was only about ten minutes and I always appreciate that. Why there there rating then? I found it overly expensive for what we received. The food was wonderful but it's hard to justify 80 dollars to two relatively light eaters. Had we ordered a few drinks and dessert, lunch for two would have been 120 dollars. read more

I've been coming to the other location for a long time. The federal location is a lot smaller and there was always a wait but with this location, it's not as busy. This would be a dope place to gather with a group of friends to watch the playoffs if they have bigger TVs, they do have plenty of TVs but this place is huge and the TVs need to be bigger to enjoy. Because it's so big, they are able to accommodate for bigger parties. Because of the popularity this place has, their prices are a bit higher than other Cajun places. They don't offer combo or half pound options either- which is what I prefer to be able to enjoy a little bit of everything. On their menu the have three different spice level, mild medium and XXX- I am not sure why they skipped the hot. But the XXX is a good punch and not too crazy spicy. I love the all in flavor they have, but I haven't tried the other flavors they offer. I like that it's not as oily as other places. The wings and fries are good appetizers to start off with and to help fill you up. The services is always attentive when I visit at both locations. The service is quick and efficient as well. Only negative is that they ran out of gloves but that's not a hang up to decrease the 5 star rating! If you're into crab boils this is your place! It was my first time here upon hearing great reviews! I ordered a pound of shrimp and a pound of clams with the all in one sauce on medium heat with some gumbo! I thought the portions were huge which is amazing and I liked how both seafoods were separated into their own bags! For the sauce I liked it and thought the heat was perfect but I did feel that both of the seafoods had slightly different sauces, the one with the clams tasted slightly more bitter than the one with shrimp, but was still super tasty! The shrimp consistency was a bit off as well with some being slightly soggy and some being tender which could be due to how long it was cooked for. I do think the clams were perfectly cooked though. The gumbo was also super delicious and I really enjoyed the rice in it because it soaked up the soup base! I would definitely be back and potentially trying new sauces! read more

Grabbed take out a few days ago from the new location. I've never eaten inside either location so this review is just based on take during Covid era. We called ahead and places our order. They asked how long we would be and told them 20 minutes. It was further that we thought to it actually look us closer to 35. When we arrived the take out was at the bar. We still had to wait. They gave us a buzzer and told us the wait in the car. Everyone was in masks and all the dine in patrons were spread out well. They also had the game on so plus if you need somewhere to catch a football game or two. There didn't seem to be any additional sanitization at the take out area. The guy in front of me used a pen and the employee didn't clean it or provide a new pen. Small things right now make all the difference. Usually you see a clean and dirty pen area in most business. The food was good. Nothing amazing. Pretty standard bag boil. The shrimp was decently fresh but nothing to write home about. My husband and I have been craving Cajun style seafood boil for so long. We tried this place and it did not disappoint. We accidentally went to the other location which was closed but yelp said it was open. It was our fault for not calling. Food came out pretty fast. We got a pound of shrimp, snow crab, and crawfish. We got corn and sausage. For the sauce we got the all in one and medium spice. Oh yeah! We also got the curly fries Cajun mild. It was pretty good but I don't have anywhere else to compare it to. Maybe we love spicy but the medium wasn't ask spicy as we thought. I think next time we will get the 3rd level. For two people we actually finished the whole thing. Maybe we were really hungry?
