Espresso Martini

Perfect spot for HH on a sunny day! They have a good wine selection and the cocktails are excellent. Everyone is friendly, and the service has been great every time I've been. I love their outside patio area, but inside is also super cute and welcoming.

Love the decor, atmosphere, and location. Felt like a wine bar should have more options to choose from. That said, we had a lovely bottle of Pinot Gris with waterfront views and yummy Caesar salad with burrata. I don't love having to pay nearly $10 for parking- eating out in Seattle is expensive enough. Know before you go.

Love this place - especially on a sunny day! The service was great, though you're typically only allowed to stay for 2 hours. The wait for a table was a little long, but we were able to sit at the bar while we waited. Overall ambience / vibes are incredible as it's right by the water! We ordered spritzes & wine for happy hour which were excellent. Will need to come back to try the food

We really enjoyed ourselves here. The food and service were better than I expected. The menu was a bit limited, but what we ordered was delicious. We sat both indoors and outdoors. Indoors is kind of dim and boring while the outdoors dining was fun and bright. The parking situation is going to be interesting for most. We came via bike and parked our bikes out front no problem. Looks like they also have short term boat parking nearby. Theres also a small park a few step away as well. Nice area to just hang for a bit.

3.5 stars Came here with a group of 7 and the location is hard to beat. Outside seating is nice, but they didn't have anything that would work for our group so we stayed inside. It was hot, so I was okay to be inside. The decor is nice but it does also feel like it's missing something with the space. We sat in mixed seating near an active glass fireplace which I understand the vibe you're going for, but it is 90 degrees outside so it's a bit of an odd choice. I read several reviews about the service being an issue but had the opposite experience. Our primary server and others who checked on us were very attentive. Plenty of wine options to satisfy our group, though a few people ordered Rose and looks like the color was slightly different each time. We didn't get much food but that was a bit of a mixed bag. The bread with olive oil was warm which was nice. Sadly, the chips and crème fraiche was just Ruffles which seemed weird for a wine bar. Great location, good drinks, solid service, mixed food.

Come here for the vibes but not the food. This place has a great view of the lake and is beautiful for a summer day. I only recommend getting the flatbread. I was extremely disappointed by two things in terms of service: 1. We had eaten outside and there was a bee laying in our food for a good 5 minutes and I'm shocked that the waitress had not offered to remake the piece that the bee had landed on. When we asked nicely , she looked annoyed by the request. 2. I arrived a bit later than my friends and the waitress wasn't attentive enough to offer another set of flatware and/or plates

We visited on a gorgeous summer Friday night at peak dinner time. We were a party of 2. We were seated pretty quickly. Although we were inside, our seat was very close to the patio which had large open doors that made the space feel like a mix of indoor/outdoor. The food menu wasn't huge but I found there was something for everyone. There more than a couple vegetarian options so that was nice. We got the hummus, Greek salad, and cantaloupe and prosciutto. Everything was delicious. I had the wine flight that included a red, white, and rosé. I liked each of them. I found the service to be great. They were busy but the person who took care of us was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I realize that they are a new place and may have had some growing pains based on previous reviews, but on the night we were there, it was great. The location is amazing. Water, city, and sunset views were gorgeous. You can watch boats come and go from the docks nearby. Afterwards, you can walk on a little path right outside the patio to get closer to the water. They have a pay to park lot right outside the restaurant.

I was really looking forward to checking out the newly renovated South Lake Union waterfront and its new restaurants, but my experience here was such a disappointment that I have no intention of coming back. As a long-time Yelper, I usually give restaurants a second chance before writing a review, but what happened here couldn't be brushed off as a typical "soft opening week" issue. From the start, our host was rude and unwelcoming. They forgot our order, and it took an unreasonably long time just to get someone's attention to check in. When we finally did, they brushed us off with a curt "it's on the way," without any apology for the delay. When our food finally arrived - Jamón and melon - it was incredibly underwhelming for the price. By the end of the meal, we were so neglected that we had to walk up to the front desk to ask to pay our bill. I understand that being out of stock on certain items happens during soft openings, but the staff's overall attitude made it clear they didn't care to help customers at all. The space itself, which I thought looked promising during construction, just felt like a generic hotel lobby with no atmosphere, no culture, no identity. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. Even if my friends decide to go, I won't be joining them.

We had an outdoor reservation at The Cove on opening day at 1p. We had an excellent time sitting in the sun, sipping wine, and watching boats and seaplanes. Mikey was our server and did a great job. I had the MONTINORE ESTATE L'ORANGE first and then a glass off the BOREALIS VINTNERS WHITE BLEND. I enjoyed both but actually liked the white blend better. The Cove has a great vibe and location. I didn't get to try the food but it looked pretty good. Will come back.

You come here to drink wine and vibe. If I were visiting Seattle, this would be at the top of my list on a sunny day. Level up your experience and arrive by water, they offer moorage on a first-come, first-serve basis. I'm only giving it 4 stars solely due to the pace/food. While the staff was incredibly friendly and kind, the service for food was a bit slow. It feels like a new-spot 'growing pain'. As for the menu, the food is limited and more snack-focused, but the wine and spritzes are excellent. Great view of Lake Union and very therapeutic being right on the water. Definitely going to be a spot I frequent because you really can't beat the atmosphere.

Ants

Ok, so update, came in around 2pm today and was seated by the sliding doors that opens into the outdoor seating area. I notice two black ants crawling around on the table and looked around as we all know, when there is one, there are more. There were so many crawling around the table and I located them at the doors and all along the edge there. Look at the photos and videos. I had to move myself to another table and that's it. There was no acknowledgment beyond "ohh, sorry." Isn't this a sanitation concern with the health authorities? - look at the videos and photos.

A wine bar on the water... who could ask for anything more?! I don't think they've even been open a week yet, but they're doing a great job figuring out the space quickly. My husband and I came in without a reservation on a Thursday afternoon just after 4pm and though the venue was bustling, we were quickly seated at the short bar. We ordered a prosecco rosé and a guava spritz, both perfect drinks for a sunny afternoon. For food, we shared olives, chips & crème fraîche, and a Greek salad with chicken. While we thought it was a little strange that they all came out at the same time about 20 minutes after ordering (I would've thought the olives and chips would be out first), we weren't really here for a meal, more so for wine and a little nosh, so this was perfectly fine. The snacks were yummy and great to accompany our drinks. Though I wouldn't consider this a place for dinner, it's a perfect wine bar that happens to have some very good snacks, and that's just what I need for lunch or between meals. I can't wait to come here with my girl friends and yap over a (well-priced) bottle of wine and a charcuterie board while looking at the boats!

She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle!

A puzzling experience. When we arrived the place was 25% full. When asked if we wanted bar or…read morerestaurant, I answered restaurant. The hostess walked us through the entire restaurant to the dark back wall, behind the bar. With tall bar chairs. Explained we didn't want that, she walked us back through the entire restaurant to a nice table up front by the windows. Tried a Malbec duo. One was delicious and didn't like the other at all; oddly tannic. The grilled mortadella should have been more grilled. Sitting in a generous portion of burratta-like cheese, olive oil and pistachio butter, it was delicious. But desperately needed some bread. How do eat this without any bread? Once the mortadella is gone, you are just eating spoonfuls of cheese, oil and butter? We hadn't seen our waitress since the app arrived. Having finished the mortadella we finally flagged down someone and asked if we could get a little bread. He said he would handle it right away. Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress came by. Apologized for not being around and went to see about the bread. Finally got the bread, and it was delicious. But sooooo oily! Like a sponge it dozed oil every time I tried to break off a piece. Was dying to wash my hands. Our entrées were ok. The fried chicken with fusilli was pretty good, but difficult to eat in the deep bowl. Hard to cut. The crispy tofu wrap wasn't crispy and wasn't made well. I have absolutely no idea what flavor profile it was meant to be. Just muddy. I tried to eat the first half. It was stuffed so full it was impossible to eat. I took out more than half the filling before I could manage it. When I got to the second half I understood the issue. There was almost no crispy tofu, but lots of lettuce and other fillings. Maybe it would have eaten better if it had been constructed better. The fries were fine. Pleasant server, but perhaps had too many tables as we didn't get the service expected. It's been a long time since dining at the downtown Purple. Likely wouldn't go back.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. Bottom line: if you're anywhere near Pike Place and enjoy wine (or cocktails, or fun, or all of the above) this place is a must. I can almost guarantee it'll become your new favorite spot.

This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
