Not gonna lie, the bowl of chowder was pretty big, and I was pretty full by the time I was done with it. The honey hot chicken sandwich is more like a honey mustard chicken. It was still pretty good, but if you are expecting hot honey, this is not it. I opted to have the blue cheese on the side with the pizza, because my husband doesn't like blue cheese. The buffalo chicken pizza was actually really delicious. It was like a bar pizza that you would get from the south shore. You really can't find this pizza in Rhode Island or in Southern MA, so this was a great find. Staff were friendly and attentive. I didn't get any alcoholic drinks cause it was pretty early and not much of a day drinker, but it had a really good vibe and I'm sure it's a lot of fun at night. The drink menu looked really good so I'll likely come back for drinks and apps. There's a cute outdoor seating area. Every seat at the bar was taken. Our server was friendly and attentive, and brought our drinks, $8 for a Sam Adams seasonal draft, and $15 for a Bulleit Bourbon Old Fashioned cocktail (which was mixed well and nicely presented, sans the anticipated Luxardo cherry). My friend ordered the Fondue Burger with truffle fries. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and smothered with a delicious cheese sauce sprinkled with fresh bacon crumbles - decadent and delicious. The fries are thin and crispy (the best way) and served in one of those cute little metal baskets with just the right amount of truffle. I had the salmon rice bowl which was better than I expected it to be. The fish was fresh and cooked nicely, (medium, although it could have been taken off heat a minute or two earlier, but not what I consider 'overcooked' by any means), and sat atop some very delicious coconut jasmine rice. The bowl also had a heap of zingy red onions, thinly sliced perfectly ripe avocado, a yummy mango salsa, and was drizzled with a very nice cilantro crema. Perfection. I ate the whole thing, felt a bit overstuffed and unable to taste the burger (next time!) I ordered a special winter cocktail with tequila and apple cider that was really good. It was a decent size drink too for the price. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was really good. She ordered plain fries as all of the meals come with herb fries automatically. My friend had a burger and actually complained because it was too salty. The coffee bar was fun to explore and I also took a peek at the brewery side (I'll definitely be back to check it out another time). The staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to explain their signature Brewhouse Bomb. It was absolutely delicious: rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. This visit was such a great introduction to Brewhouse District and I can't wait to come back and try more!
