My family has supported this local business for many years and it saddens me to say my most recent visit was very disappointing. The person at the counter (who seemed to be supervising the other employees) was less than enthusiastic about helping me find a specific ring size even though there was no one else needing attention. She also could not offer any information on properties or energy the various stones are believed (by many) to hold. When I asked about the location of stickers in support of a certain cause I was told to "just look around ". I did not feel the peaceful, inclusive, supportive welcome I have enjoyed in the past and will (sadly) think twice before shopping Cosmic for my next gift giving occasion. read more

It's wonderful to still have a shop to go to that gives the authenticity and vibes like this place. It's one of the jewels of Bend. Oh and that lady Mollie, is a one of a kind. Such wonderful vibes at this store! I was looking for a white sage spray locally and did not want to order off Amazon. Everyone practices Covid-19 precautions which is a super plus, and everyone is warm and friendly. One employee even held the door open for me as I was leaving. I found what I needed and it was $10, which is a good average price. I didn't have a lot of time to browse, but I imagine I'd find a bunch of cool things. They even had toys for kids (which I'm always looking for, for my toddler). I'll definitely be back! read more

This shop had a nice selection and I'd probably shop here again if I didn't have better options elsewhere. I'd say the welcome I received was luke warm at best if you could call not saying anything until I checked out a welcome. It was honestly disappointing, as I'd been wanting to check this place out since I first heard of it in 1998. Super bummed out about this, I have been supporting this local business for gifts and jewelry for years. I actually came in shopping just two days ago and all the staff were friendly and nice. However, my sons daycare is right next door and I went to drop him off and kindly back into a parking spot at cosmic depot for 30 seconds to let a fellow parent leave the parking lot so I could have a parking space at the preschool. While I was waiting for them to back up so I could get parked the owner of cosmic depot came out and told me I could not be there, I explained to her that I was just letting the other car out because it was one way and she was extremely rude and yelled at me. There were no cars in her parking lot so it's not like I was blocking anyone from coming to her establishment either. I did not expect this from the owner of cosmic depot. It was so rude that I will not be supporting this business anymore or recommending it. She lost a long time customer today unfortunately. One of bends little gems. I shop here regularly. Everyone that works here is so helpful and friendly. I love that there are many staple items that are always here, and new items regularly. There's even a shop kitty, that will gladly accept some gentle petting. Such a positive little oasis in this crazy world. read more

Female staff is rude and incompetent. Completely stoned and had no awareness of ringing me up correctly or pricing. I had to ask three times for a gift card and she still forgot it! Terrible customer service. Left message for owner twice and never received a call back. Completely not customer centric at all! read more

There's so much neat stuff in here, I don't even know where to start! I went in there with a friend for a quick visit, and somehow walked out a full hour later. Although it was jam packed with miscellaneous items, the store didn't feel crowded or cluttered. The owners obviously care very much about this store, and it shows. The nice lady at the counter was very knowledgeable, and treated us like old friends, but she wasn't overbearing. They're also very well stocked with wash melters, candles, incense, tarot cards, stones, and a lot more that I didn't pay as much attention to. This is such a fantastic little shop. The friendliest workers you could ask for, and extremely helpful! I was searching for a gift for my mother, and with a little bit of a description of her, the woman working was able to find me something absolutely perfect. I returned another time and just browsed everything for probably an hour - and you could spend even longer browsing in there if you wanted to! So many little treasures.
