Great bar downtown. They have a good selection of beers. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. On some Tuesday nights a jazz band plays. It's a super fun time.

The Corner is indeed on a corner and a great go-to spot in the area. I heard from a friend that this is a Miami staple and it lived up to the chill hype she amped it up to be. We came here with some friends after a Heat game, looking for some grub and a nightcap. There is both indoor and outdoor seating and it wasn't too busy at the time we arrived. If you come before a Heat game, I was told they have specials on certain drafts, which I think was cool. My friend said that this spot is a place where you end a night rather than begin and it held true as the place began to fill up the later we stayed. The vibe is cool & laid back with their playlist on pointttt with A Tribe Called Quest and Wu Tang Clan playing. You order at the bar and then grab a seat when they give you a number. I didn't get a cocktail this time around but all my friends loved theirs. The Painted Lady was a fan favorite! We also ordered some bites and it was all pretty good. Standard bar food but a little elevated is how I'd describe it. I got the grilled cheese and that was good but next visit, I definitely want to get the Chicago Dog because it looked amazing. A great spot to hang with friends or even bring a date.

What a cute spot that takes you back to another time. Doesn't feel like Miami at all. It was jazz night so we got to enjoy some nice drinks and listen to some good tunes. The have snack to enjoy. You order at the bar. Bartender is helpful on drink recommendations. Get there early, small place with limited seating. Ubering is recommended to avoid having to search for parking.

A great little corner bar. The drinks are reasonable, and lots of cocktail options with mezcal which I appreciated. The bar ambiance is nice, dark and rustic looking. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. For a late night bar, service was good. I got a "Hot & Smokey" which was lime, habanero, a sugar cube, and Illegal mezcal. Highly recommend for all my mezcal fans out there. I was there on a Wednesday and they a had a DJ. It was loud, but not to the point where you couldn't hear people around you. Definitely check out this corner joint. I didn't get food but they have a small food menu as well.

My friend and I stumbled upon this Gastro pub after leaving E11EVEN. It's a relatively small space, with a very cozy, relaxed vibe to it. There's limited seating at the bar, but there are also a number of small tables and an additional high top seating area. I tried to be adventurous and ordered their cocktail dubbed "Trinity" (Wathens Bourbon, Peach Liquor, Lemon, Basil), but it proved to be VERY peachy and too sweet for my taste...so alas I ended up with my usual Maker's Old Fashioned. My friend ordered a Delerium Belgian Ale which was deliciously refreshing and everything wonderful you'd expect from a Belgian Ale. The bartender (John, I believe) was very friendly and understanding when I'd asked to swap my drink. Website mentions they have Jazz there. I'll definitely be back, hopefully they'll have live music next time!

Pros: Gets five stars for the vibe, music, and friendly service. Cons: my happy hour old fashioned was okay, it's a little disorganized when ordering inside, I recommend you order at the window outside!

Had a work meeting downtown and heard about the corner from a few colleagues. It is literally on the corner on a one way so slow up when you make the left turn or you'll miss it as I did lol! There is street parking available for a fee. Happy hour is until 8pm. This includes drinks. There are small bites available for purchase as well that are not on the happy hour menu. The place is small but so intimate and cute. We enjoyed a manchego and crackers while we had a drink and it was so tasty. They pair it with honey and I feel like this sets it off. You do have to place orders at the bar and pickup drinks from the bar but food is brought out to the table!

Decided to come back to The Corner for happy hour and it was worth the visit. I even came back later on in the week at night. Their happy hour prices are great. A special price on cocktails and beers. We ordered two spritz but they were out of the aperol so we went with craft two beers. They came out to $10! What a steal in downtown Miami. The bartender was really nice and friendly as well. It was happy hour so you had your choosing of tables or the bar. When we came back later in the week it was full inside and out but we ordered through the window and the bartender was also quite attentive and quick. We sat outside on a stool. The only disturbance that night was there was a pop-up Philly cheesesteak next to the bar outside and the two employees were slamming a metal spatula to cook and it was quite difficult to hold any thoughts or conversations with the loud banging. I would suggest get here earlier than later so you can have a more enjoyable time and find a seat to enjoy your beverage in.

I thought this was a pretty solid happy hour choice. I wish they had more food options but this is a bar, and I think they have a teeny tiny kitchen. I sat at the bar with my friend. The area is a little sketch and there were some very high patrons that walked in and out of the bar several times. They didn't bother us so all was well. Their happy hour options were pretty good and super cheap. I liked their Franks with mustard and olives. Great for a week day after work gathering. It's pretty small and cozy and they host fun events in the evenings like karaoke.

If you love cruising which I do and you love craft beer, you will absolutely love District Brew House. It is located on deck 8 towards the front of the ship. When I was on my cruise, it was the best kept secret on the ship. If you have cruised on a mega-ship like the Escape, you know getting a drink, especially in a frequented club or on the pool deck will usually mean long lines. On the Norwegian Escape, me and my friends did a test. One group of my friends stood in the line in prime time in the evening at Spice H2O on Deck 17 towards the rear of the ship. My group left them, walked all the way to District Brew House on 8 in the front of the ship, ordered drinks and came back. The group at Spice H2O were still waiting for their drinks. From that day on, we made it a point to stop in District Brew House before going anywhere else. Things you need to know about District Brew House on the Norwegian Escape: 1) They have draft beer and craft bottles 2) It wasn't too crowded and the service was great 3) We had the unlimited drink package and all our beers were FREE 4) At night they had a piano player from 9 pm until... 5) In 7 days you can try every beer they have, if beer is all you're drinking

We came with a group, which worked out perfectly because I got to try a little bit of everything. The Charred Corn & Avocado Dip was a great starter, but the Sticky Korean Ribs were next level. For sushi, the crispy rice was my favorite, though the spicy California roll held its own. For my main, I went with the Truffle Tortellini, because if there's truffle on a menu, I'm ordering it every time. Drinks were just as well executed, and surprisingly, the pricing is pretty reasonable for the whole experience you're getting. Overall, I love this place.
