The Corner gave me my best breakfast ever! I LOVE breakfast and after checking Yelp reviews, this was my place to choose! I convinced my wife that this was the place and it did NOT disappoint!!!!!! OMG, "destination-worthy". DO YOU WANT PERFECT SERVICE? Come here! Do you want a great breakfast???? Come here! You can choose inside or outside, both look great! Waiters that are watching to refill, give you whatever you need. I mean, fantastic service - for breakfast!!! Delicious meal...... no skimping. Great coffee. Parking..... I haven't been to a place this good since..... uh.... forever. I consider this the best place to get breakfast period. Too bad I was only visiting. I hope to come here again!
The Corner is a nice neighborhood cafe that serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and also breakfast until 3pm. My son and I tried this place today for lunch and had a decent experience. They have a very extensive menu here. There's a parking lot in the back and I also noticed a sign that said Complimentary Valet but there wasn't anyone at the stand. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant and saw one server (Denise) taking another table's order outside. I think she was the only employee on duty and doing everything by herself. After about 7 minutes, she approached us and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and we said outside. Then she asked us if we preferred the smoking or non-smoking patio, and we chose non-smoking. I didn't even know this was an option nowadays, I thought smoking at restaurants wasn't allowed anymore. Apparently they also have hookah available every day starting at 5pm, both inside and outside the restaurant. I was really looking forward to trying their frittata but didn't know that breakfast was only until 3pm. Unfortunately I couldn't order it since we got here around 4pm. We stayed with our waters and I got a bowl of their Clam Chowder soup that came with 2 bulky and FRESH pieces of warm Focaccia bread. I also ordered a Chicken Pesto Panini which came with Grilled Chicken Breast, Basil Pesto Aioli, Tomato, Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Roasted Peppers and Arugula on toasted Ciabatta Bread. I chose Fruit as my side. The ingredients were all fresh, but unfortunately the bread was toasted way more than my liking and the sandwich was really dry overall. There wasn't enough pesto and the chicken was a bit overcooked. I felt like I was hurting my tooth as I ate it. On the other hand, my soup absolutely stole the show. It was an outstanding bowl of Clam Chowder that really hit the spot after not having it for several years. It was piping hot, and again, very fresh. So flavorful and enjoyable. I savored every spoonful! My son ordered the French Turkey Sandwich that came with Roasted Turkey with Swiss Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Pickles, Lettuce, Red Onions, Garlic Aioli on Sourdough Bread. He loved his sandwich and ate every crumb off his plate. I also had some of his sandwich and it was really good, way better than mine. Also nice portion for the price. He got his with a side salad that had arugula, tomatoes, red onion and lemon vinaigrette. After seating us and taking our order, Denise disappeared and Bryce took over. He was an excellent server and provided great customer service. I told him about my issues with my sandwich and he apologized and brought me some extra pesto aioli on the side. The place is very clean and everything looks very new and well-kept. Bryce mentioned they've been around for about 10 years but did an extensive remodel during COVID. I'd also like to mention that the tap water tasted so good. No nasty aftertaste like some other restaurants. Even their glasses were beautiful. Thank you management, Bryce and The Corner. We will be back another time to try the same sandwich and see if there's any improvement. We will also try more things, including the Frittata. Both restrooms were fully stocked and super clean!!
(Dined 03/06/2026 FR @ 10:00am): This restaurant was literally located on a corner! One of my best friends and I met up at The Corner as we caught up with each other as grown men over 50 did these days. Neither of us had been here before, but I've driven by this place countless times since it was near my dentist, and I used the street as a main thoroughfare sometimes getting to and from the properties. I normally wasn't an eater during formal breakfast hours, but exceptions happened sometime. Did we have a good time as we hung out at this corner!? PURCHASE(S) Passion Fruit Lemonade ($12.00): To be sure, I was aghast when I saw the price of this tropical drink. Who does it think it was... an Erewhon smoothie!? Everything smelled and tasted fresh and not bruised in the cooking process. The hash browns was a huge portion size with a lovely exterior crusting while the interior was hot and soft as the catsup was used as a cooling agent and added flavor. The sourdough bread was functional and crunchier than I liked (I preferred a chewier toast). Once again, a stylish presentation but a diminutive portion size, it was lighter than expected (I liked it more dense), there were obvious notes of spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, some signs of shredded carrot that added some moisture and sweetness, while the whipped cream cheese frosting sprinkled with cinnamon and nuts that added a touch of tanginess to the sweetness. She checked on us regularly, and once we were done, there wasn't any pressure to vacate the table even though they were getting really busy. Everything was superb - thank you! PARKING (FREE): I luckily found a spot in their tight lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be available parking along the main drag of San Fernando Rd. and all surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A surprisingly roomy clean modern restaurant with multiple dining areas that included a patio and bar with a blended feel of both casual and classy. In some strange way, it reminded me of an event space I constructed for Coachella years ago! A decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front glass windows and doors while a mix of fanciful and recessed electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. My background was in advertising, marketing, and promotions, so I completely understood presentation, but that rarely translated into added value for the frugal person in me. On the other hand, the menu was varied enough, the space was really nice, and the service was excellent. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $55.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). Finally made it to The Corner and from the moment I walked in I could tell this place takes itself seriously in all the right ways. The interior is ultra modern and clearly well thought out. We sat on the patio, lots of plants, trees, and marble tabletops that actually feel intentional. The staff was large and attentive. I ordered the Thai Shrimp Bowl and since the dressing has almonds and I have a nut allergy, they substituted a nut free option without any fuss. The bowl was fresh and delicious, my only note is I wished it was a little larger. We also had the fish tacos which were great, nothing to complain about flavor wise. The Corner is a solid spot all around.
We arrived for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the menu. There are so many options, and everything that passed us looked delicious. We definitely ordered more than we could eat, but wanted to try a few different items. Everything we ordered was delicious, portions were plenty and our waitress, Lexi, was attentive and patient as we had many questions and took a while deciding. Valet is complimentary, and there is also street parking if you can find any available spots, as it's busy area. The restaurant is on the louder side, has music playing and people speaking over it, so it's a bit overwhelming in that aspect. Otherwise, tables are spaced nicely apart, chairs are comfortable, the decore is tasteful and inviting and the vibe is welcoming. We highly recommend a visit and we can't wait to return! Enjoy.
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 First of all, the parking situation was bad. I came here on weekend to eat breakfast since they have very high reviews. The parking lot is shared with nearby motel and it was packed. Finally found the parking on the street. It was raining on that day and they didn't have that patio seating open. I ordered cappuccino, classic breakfast with two eggs and bacons. Also order omelette, my dishes come with waffle and pancakes. Everything was tasted good, but nothing special. This place is a bit on the pricier side. I would like to come back here again when they have the outdoor patio open it seems like nice seating area to enjoy breakfast and people watching.
The corner has been a favorite for brunch especially with their delicious waffles! It had been a while since we'd come back but I was very disappointed to see such a price jump on their menu! I do know things have gone up in price, but making a $19 dollar item $30 now is a bit much! I came in for my birthday and quickly realized their menu had changed, after a quick glance I did see the price change. I'm happy that they're growing and prospering but it is now not a breakfast place I can't keep on rotation. The food here is still as delicious as it was before. The Mexican omelette is my favorite, the chorizo and tortilla crisps complement each other so well! The waffles are the absolute BEST! They aren't overly sweet & they have the perfect balance between crunch and fluff. The service was quick, they checked on us during our entire meal and made sure we had what we needed. If you want to spend 60+ on breakfast for 2, this is a good spot! The food will not disappoint!
Visited on a Saturday during brunch time and thankfully, had a reservation because it was packed! Amazing service and the menu offered a wide selection. I absolutely adored the Steak Sandwich. It had nicely toasted ciabatta bread holding a juicy piece of steak cooked medium along with caramelized onions, cheese, and arugula. You can choose the side as well (salad, french fries, or fruit). It was savory and filling! Probably the best steak sandwich I've ever had. I also tried my friend's truffle fries and was amazed by how strong the truffle flavor was. They definitely didn't skimp out on the truffle! They offer free valet parking (entrance on the big street). You can choose to sit outside in the patio or inside. Very spacious and comfortable seating and contemporary interior design. Overall, loved my experience here and will be back for more!
Had this place on spots I needed to try for breakfast, and finally made the time to head over. Didn't have a reservation but there were against takes so we were seated right away. Menu is big with plenty of options, su street browsing, I started with a Lovers Island cocktail, combining tequila, mango puree, limoncello and lime. It's an interesting drink missing the mango with the limoncello. Not sure if it is limoncello from Italy but it does cut the sweetness with from the mango, but still remains fairly balanced. For food, we started with the avocado rolls with a tamarind cashew dipping sauce. The sauce was grea, giving this level of sweetness to pair with the onions and sun dried tomatoes in the avocado told. Really enjoyed these! For eggs, we tried the breakfast burrito and the short rib Benedict. Three benefit is huge, coming on waffles, with a layer of guacamole with ample short rib and perfectly poached eggs. However, we felt the short rib needed to be seasoned better and just felt it was missing something to bring it all together as a bite. The short rib was cooked very well though. As for the breakfast burrito, it is stuffed with avocado and hash browns, and came with a side of hash browns. Like the short rib, the hash browns needed seasoned desperately. Only took one bite of them, and that lack of seasoning ended it right here. The burrito, itself, was pretty good with the Mexican chorizo giving it a ton of flavor. Overall, decent breakfast spot with other options besides breakfast. This avocado rolls were great, and the burrito itself was very good. I'd skip on the short rib benedict though.
1st time trying this place for brunch searching on Yelp. I ended up ordering their Breakfast Special that includes eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Pancakes were soft and not too sweet. It was good to eat with their syrup. I also ordered Protein Omelet that was made from egg whites. Inside the omelet was pieces of chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. I like this omelet because it was light, also lean, and healthy dish I would say. It was seasoned well. This order also came with waffles that I didn't like. Waffles were tough to chew. Outside was tough and rubbery. Inside was dry and not a good flavor. Service was okay but I waited for a while to get their attention at first. This place is clean with modern style and decors. Suitable for children and family dining.
What a gem! After recovering from a serious food coma, I had to write this review--still thinking about that frittata. It was my first time here, though my husband had been before and loved it, so we came with our kid yesterday. It was busy, but the service was fast and incredibly welcoming. I loved the place right away. My husband ordered the short rib eggs Benedict ($27--not cheap), but wow, the portion was generous and the short rib was unbelievably tender and flavorful. Absolutely worth it. I ordered the frittata, which came with potatoes and bread. The bread had lots of sesame seeds (a big plus for me) and was delicious. Our kid loved the chicken tenders and fries--these felt freshly made in-house, not frozen. He said they were really good. They also have a cozy outdoor seating area. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud indoors. Otherwise, 10/10. We'll definitely be back to try more breakfast items

I'm given a five star rating for the service and the quality of the food. I believe our servers name may have been Zaira or Zalra at least that's what my receipt says. I came to eat with my sister and Dad. She greet us with a smile. Was knowledgeable about the menu. Was kind and engaged in all the silly banter. The food was great but I would come back for the service. I ordered an eggs Benedict with my eggs cooked hard, swapped out the meat for avocado and tomato and added a single pancake on the side. I also got a caramel latte that was almost too pretty to drink. They kept our water glasses filled, checked on us often and my order was prepared exactly how requested. You really can't ask for more in a breakfast spot. I can't wait to go back. It's not even a mile from my house so I'll be back sooner rather than later. We have driven past this newly renovated restaurant and finally tried it for my birthday! First, the ambience is pretty chic and very instagrammable. The patio seating is the way to go especially on a nice warm day. Now onto the food...obviously I had to order the matcha pancakes because, you guessed it, I love pancakes!! The matcha glaze was a little too sweet for my taste but the presentation was really cool. He ordered the bacon and eggs with hash browns, but I have to say, the best bite for me was their sourdough bread! Overall a cute spot with a trendy ambiance and lots of free parking! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and inviting. The entire space was spotless and beautifully maintained, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food presentation was stunning, and every single dish tasted just as amazing as it looked. You can truly tell the kitchen puts care and pride into every plate. Our server, Jay, was beyond exceptional. In the past 10 years, I honestly have not had a server as great and amazing as her. She was attentive, kind, patient, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire visit. We also want to give a shout out to the security guard, who was equally wonderful and welcoming. My husband and I had lunch here on an early Sunday afternoon. There's a parking lot attached to the restaurant and nearby street parking. When we arrived, we were seated right away by the host. The space is nice and modern. There's lots of tables to accommodate both small and large parties. There's also a covered patio if you want to enjoy outdoor seating. Our server greeted us within 5 minutes of sitting and we ordered right away. We also received our orders pretty quickly. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken wrap and cauliflower wings. My husband had a bowl of clam chowder and the chicken Caesar wrap. My wrap was good but I wished there was a little bit of dressing in the salad. The cauliflower wings were okay. Some parts of the cauliflower were crispy, which I enjoyed, but it was soggy overall. It might have been because of the buffalo sauce? My husband liked his chicken Caesar wrap but we both loved the clam chowder. That was probably the best part of the meal and the only thing we finished out of all the dishes we ordered. read more

Hands down one of THE best breakfast/brunch spots in the Burbank/Glendale area. Menu has something for everyone. Lattes and espresso martinis are solid. Everything is presented in an IG-worthy fashion; the details are so on point. Love the vibe, the food, and parking is convenient. Live music on weekends complete the aesthetic. Wow. This place is not only aesthetically pleasing, but the food and service were truly outstanding. We had a small hiccup when we first arrived -- we didn't have a reservation, and the hostess asked us to wait for a bit. While waiting, a few other parties came in, and I realized our names hadn't been added to the list. We went from being second in line to fourth, which was a bit frustrating. Despite that, we waited patiently and were eventually seated on the outdoor patio. It was worth it. Our server was absolutely wonderful -- kind, laid-back, funny, and super attentive. We were a party of five, and we each ordered different dishes -- every single one was delicious and exactly what we hoped for. The flavors were on point. The drinks were also exceptional, both in taste and presentation. The lattes had the perfect level of sweetness, and the McCallan we ordered was smooth and expertly served. What stood out even more was the presence of (who I assume was) the manager or owner. They were visibly attentive and keeping an eye on the entire dining experience, which added a thoughtful touch and made us feel even more taken care of -- on top of the already-great service from our server. Oh, and I can't forget -- while we were waiting, I was gifted a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Such a sweet and unexpected gesture. All in all, we'll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others. PS. I love how everything has their logo. The napkins. The to go box and the cute little plastic bags. We went from brunch with the family and I was surprised by the line at the door! They sat us fairly quickly and brought out the food shortly after we ordered. The sweet potatoes were delicious! The tacos were alright. I also don't think they were wild which was a bummer but everyone seemed very satisfied with the portions and taste. read more

Oh my goodness.... How have we never been to this place?! After a morning of shopping we found ourselves quite HANGRY and needing food ASAP! But of course we had to find a new place because we'll.. That's who we are. So THE CORNER popped up on YELP and caught our eye. Easy parking. Great decor! I mean the detail throughout the whole place was definitely noticed! My sister has a beautiful cappuccino. We split the Corner Sampler and it was excellent. The avocado rolls were crunchy. The chicken wings were so good! (My one complaint is that it was a shareable plate and everything was in twos except the wings. I mentioned this to the waitress and she apologized and said they go by weight. So sometimes it's 3, sometimes it's 4. I just think for future samplers, they give 4. But that's me. Either way we couldn't finish all of it anyways lol ) Our server was friendly. I really wanted to like this place because of the positive reviews, but I am so disappointed. Service: I would say 2/5 We were greeted and told we can sit seat wherever we would like. We ordered three coffees it took them 15 minutes to make/ bring to our table no problem. I had to tell one of the servers, we are ready to order and she went to get our servers. Our server disappeared and was no where to be found. Our food came and after we were done eating. It was about 10:50 and we waited until 11:10 for our server to walk by to ask her for the bill. She was inside talking to other employee. After getting bored of waiting, I had to walk to the register and pay my bill. All the other tables around us got their bill at the table and didn't have to look for the servers. Food 4/5 Food was good. No complaints. Everything tasted good. So. This lovely spot popped up on my instagram feed. And those that know me understand that I live trying out all types of food places. This spot is definitely a winner. Stopped for breakfast (did my research though) on a spontaneous drive by and was able to snag a quick reservation. What can I say from the delightful decor upbeat energy fantastic waitstaff and the LIVE accordion player situated discreetly in a corner who recalled us with a nice variety of musical numbers from the past (Think Frankie, Dino and O sola Mia ) But what would a restaurant be without good food. And friends this place did not disappoint. Everything we ordered (Coffee, Omelettes, French Toast and Waffles) were actually amazingly well prepared. Sarah was our server and she was so attentive and engaging. You know I love exceptional service and she was more than on point Great suggestions always available and pleasant As I indicated our first time here but certainly will return. I appreciate that the food as well as the portions are good and the prices are not the typical inflated prices that so many breakfast establishments seem to be trending towards. Their French toast here was the best thing we got in our meal. It's so freaking good. Other than that the other two plates were still good but not "go out of your way" worthy. The French toast is though. For the price I felt it was worth the portions and our server was nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean and modern as well. Parking was a little difficult so you have to find street parking. There was a wait when we went of about 45 minutes to a hour on a Sunday morning but they sat us down in less than 30.
