So, for starters, this is my second visit to this fine establishment, with both times coming in for breakfast. Thus, this review will be based on their breakfast line-up. Most of their sweet items on their breakfast lineup are mostly good, with their French toast and Best Potatoes being my best picks so far. I would recommend The Corner for anyone wanting to take any guests here for dining that--by California standards--does not break the bank when it comes to breakfast. The live music is also a plus, adding in to the atmosphere of this place. However, the first time I came here I was seated to a loudspeaker that was a bit loud for my taste. Service is also good, and were accomodating enough for a good time. Overall, I'd want to come here again just to try the desserts. One caveat is to come here if you check in early morning for a good weekend brunch, around 9-9:30am, which I did during my second visit here, as their peak times are roughly around noon.
My friend saw this place on instagram and we were looking for brunch place do we tried it. Beautiful spot , live saxophonist playing while we ate which was a great touch . The staff was very attentive and worked great as a team. The food was really good . I wish the lavender blueberry pancakes had a stronger lavender taste and I wish the sauce was make of cream cheese instead of what tasted like powered sugar glaze . A beautiful presentation though and I really enjoyed the blueberries inside the pancake , tasted a hint of lemon which I love . I should have asked for butter that would have put then over the top . The chairs were comfy and the fresh flowers are a nice touch . Nice experience. Looks like there is street parking if the lot is full . We didn't have rsvp but it wasn't a wait when we went around 1030ish .
Stopped by fairly early for breakfast to start our busy day. I have to say, parking here is pretty bad. The parking spots are super tight so we ended up parking across the street. The wait time was not too bad, 20-30 minutes. Once seated, we got offered drinks and our waiter took our order. I started out my day with an espresso martini because why not, lol!! This martini was so good, I had 2. As for food, I ordered an omelette with ham and cheese which came with toast and hash browns. The food is good, service is great!
Amazing service, especially the hookah. Mushegh's flavors are always on top! The food is also great.
Felt like we stumbled on a hidden gem! I've been looking for the perfect pancake and feel like this as close to perfect as I'll find without making it myself. I was really delighted by the attentiveness of the staff. Each team member worked well with the others and I felt our care was seamless and prompt. We learned that the restaurant had a refresh a few years ago and I found the tables and chairs, the patio, and the cleanliness all contributed to a great atmosphere. Found out that it turns into a hookah lounge in the evenings (weekends?) - which isn't my vibe, but they serve brunch until 3pm, which definitely IS my vibe. I'll be back!
The Corner gave me my best breakfast ever! I LOVE breakfast and after checking Yelp reviews, this was my place to choose! I convinced my wife that this was the place and it did NOT disappoint!!!!!! OMG, "destination-worthy". DO YOU WANT PERFECT SERVICE? Come here! Do you want a great breakfast???? Come here! You can choose inside or outside, both look great! Waiters that are watching to refill, give you whatever you need. I mean, fantastic service - for breakfast!!! Delicious meal...... no skimping. Great coffee. Parking..... I haven't been to a place this good since..... uh.... forever. I consider this the best place to get breakfast period. Too bad I was only visiting. I hope to come here again!
The Corner is a nice neighborhood cafe that serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and also breakfast until 3pm. My son and I tried this place today for lunch and had a decent experience. They have a very extensive menu here. There's a parking lot in the back and I also noticed a sign that said Complimentary Valet but there wasn't anyone at the stand. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant and saw one server (Denise) taking another table's order outside. I think she was the only employee on duty and doing everything by herself. After about 7 minutes, she approached us and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and we said outside. Then she asked us if we preferred the smoking or non-smoking patio, and we chose non-smoking. I didn't even know this was an option nowadays, I thought smoking at restaurants wasn't allowed anymore. Apparently they also have hookah available every day starting at 5pm, both inside and outside the restaurant. I was really looking forward to trying their frittata but didn't know that breakfast was only until 3pm. Unfortunately I couldn't order it since we got here around 4pm. We stayed with our waters and I got a bowl of their Clam Chowder soup that came with 2 bulky and FRESH pieces of warm Focaccia bread. I also ordered a Chicken Pesto Panini which came with Grilled Chicken Breast, Basil Pesto Aioli, Tomato, Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Roasted Peppers and Arugula on toasted Ciabatta Bread. I chose Fruit as my side. The ingredients were all fresh, but unfortunately the bread was toasted way more than my liking and the sandwich was really dry overall. There wasn't enough pesto and the chicken was a bit overcooked. I felt like I was hurting my tooth as I ate it. On the other hand, my soup absolutely stole the show. It was an outstanding bowl of Clam Chowder that really hit the spot after not having it for several years. It was piping hot, and again, very fresh. So flavorful and enjoyable. I savored every spoonful! My son ordered the French Turkey Sandwich that came with Roasted Turkey with Swiss Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Pickles, Lettuce, Red Onions, Garlic Aioli on Sourdough Bread. He loved his sandwich and ate every crumb off his plate. I also had some of his sandwich and it was really good, way better than mine. Also nice portion for the price. He got his with a side salad that had arugula, tomatoes, red onion and lemon vinaigrette. After seating us and taking our order, Denise disappeared and Bryce took over. He was an excellent server and provided great customer service. I told him about my issues with my sandwich and he apologized and brought me some extra pesto aioli on the side. The place is very clean and everything looks very new and well-kept. Bryce mentioned they've been around for about 10 years but did an extensive remodel during COVID. I'd also like to mention that the tap water tasted so good. No nasty aftertaste like some other restaurants. Even their glasses were beautiful. Thank you management, Bryce and The Corner. We will be back another time to try the same sandwich and see if there's any improvement. We will also try more things, including the Frittata. Both restrooms were fully stocked and super clean!!
(Dined 03/06/2026 FR @ 10:00am): This restaurant was literally located on a corner! One of my best friends and I met up at The Corner as we caught up with each other as grown men over 50 did these days. Neither of us had been here before, but I've driven by this place countless times since it was near my dentist, and I used the street as a main thoroughfare sometimes getting to and from the properties. I normally wasn't an eater during formal breakfast hours, but exceptions happened sometime. Did we have a good time as we hung out at this corner!? PURCHASE(S) Passion Fruit Lemonade ($12.00): To be sure, I was aghast when I saw the price of this tropical drink. Who does it think it was... an Erewhon smoothie!? It was a beautiful colorful presentation with an equal taste of passion fruit and lemonade (it was best to stir the drink now and then), but I felt it didn't warrant such a high price tag because truthfully I could've easily made this and multiple servings of it at home for cheaper. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=ZLB4UEvW0TFbAiChZD4bOA Veggie Omelet w/Hash Browns & Sourdough Toast ($21.00): A medley of baby spinach, mushrooms, pimientos, red onions, and tomatoes, this was a fluffy and light omelet that was still filling at that same time. Everything smelled and tasted fresh and not bruised in the cooking process. The hash browns was a huge portion size with a lovely exterior crusting while the interior was hot and soft as the catsup was used as a cooling agent and added flavor. The sourdough bread was functional and crunchier than I liked (I preferred a chewier toast). The omelet was the bomb! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=UdFze8X5WkNeKHmIprdJdw Carrot Cake ($15.00): This was one of my go-to desserts, so I had to try it. Once again, a stylish presentation but a diminutive portion size, it was lighter than expected (I liked it more dense), there were obvious notes of spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, some signs of shredded carrot that added some moisture and sweetness, while the whipped cream cheese frosting sprinkled with cinnamon and nuts that added a touch of tanginess to the sweetness. I liked it but not the portion size or price. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=YrqEbYtn3SCxCyBzz_pq9Q SERVICE We were warmly greeted by a gentleman at the counter who showed us to a table at the covered front patio. Then, our female server came by with menus, glasses of water, and provided us time to decide what we wanted. We eventually ordered, our drinks came out quickly followed by the food minutes later. She checked on us regularly, and once we were done, there wasn't any pressure to vacate the table even though they were getting really busy. Everything was superb - thank you! PARKING (FREE): I luckily found a spot in their tight lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be available parking along the main drag of San Fernando Rd. and all surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A surprisingly roomy clean modern restaurant with multiple dining areas that included a patio and bar with a blended feel of both casual and classy. In some strange way, it reminded me of an event space I constructed for Coachella years ago! A decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front glass windows and doors while a mix of fanciful and recessed electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. I didn't notice any TVs nor any background music amongst the chattering going on around me. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=pqOcznIfxpQtWK9kSS_Fyg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I was happy to finally try The Corner, the time spent with my friend, and I would consider a future visit. The biggest impediment for me were the prices which leaned closely comparable to hotel resort levels. My background was in advertising, marketing, and promotions, so I completely understood presentation, but that rarely translated into added value for the frugal person in me. On the other hand, the menu was varied enough, the space was really nice, and the service was excellent. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $55.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
We were craving a burger late night and had the idea of coming here. Food was delicious! My favorite thing to get off a menu is usually a sampler platter because it gives you a little bit of everything to try. Let's say it was the right choice. Service was exceptional! Our server Jhoseline was so attentive and so sweet. Usually at these types of places service is slow but they were on top of it all! Vibes are great, very chill place to eat, hang out and even smoke hookah. Can't wait to come back to try some of their brunch items
I randomly discovered The Corner Lounge and I'm honestly sad I didn't find it sooner. They have so many food options and everything is so creative and flavorful -- the Ahi Tuna Tartar and the California Bowl with salmon are incredible. The hookah is always perfect, and Moushegh ( I hope I spelled it right :)) is super nice and consistent every single time. The whole staff is friendly and makes the place feel fun without trying too hard. This is officially my spot, and it's absolutely worth the hour drive just to hang out. 100/10!!
We arrived for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the menu. There are so many options, and everything that passed us looked delicious. We definitely ordered more than we could eat, but wanted to try a few different items. Everything we ordered was delicious, portions were plenty and our waitress, Lexi, was attentive and patient as we had many questions and took a while deciding. Valet is complimentary, and there is also street parking if you can find any available spots, as it's busy area. The restaurant is on the louder side, has music playing and people speaking over it, so it's a bit overwhelming in that aspect. Otherwise, tables are spaced nicely apart, chairs are comfortable, the decore is tasteful and inviting and the vibe is welcoming. We highly recommend a visit and we can't wait to return! Enjoy.

Great food. But they did add a 20% service charge. We were a party of 4. We were told it was automatically added after 5pm. Their menu doesn't mention that - just that they do that for large parties. read more
The food here was surprisingly very good! We went on a Sunday for brunch, and was excited to see they had someone playing live music with a saxophone! It really created a jazz-like cozy environment for a Sunday afternoon. The customer service was also great! The staff here was really nice! The chicken goddess sandwich was flavorful and the bread was nice & warm. The pasta also had a good garlicky flavor to it! The drinks here was so good as well. The ice cream used for the affogato was SO GOOD! I will definitely be coming back again! read more

My husband & I go once per week and Bella is our absolute favorite server. She was not there yesterday. I love their Lavender Latte and had finished it by the time we decided we would get French Toast. I asked if I could have a little regular coffee to accompany it. The give away should have been the new cup. Other restaurants just pour some in our latte cup. This time we were charged for additional cups of coffee. Don't consider ourselves cheap when we spent over $100 for breakfast for 2. Otherwise a 5. Disappointing. Beautiful ambiance damaged by something so simple. read more

No long wait times before 10am on a Sunday. Super cute spot with a Parisian like feel and friendly staff. On top of friendly and attentive staff, the food was delicious. I got the chai latte with the short ribs Benedict the pancakes were also delicious along with the hash brown and sausage. read more
Pretty good lunch spot. Met some friends here around 12 noon and luckily we beat the rush! We got a table right away and ordered some drinks. I got a mimosa, friend got a glass of wine and the other two got coffee. We shared a nachos plate to start. I got the ahi salad but with balsamic dressing. Overall a great place to meet up and hang out! Place is clean, staff is frienly! Parking can be a pain as there's only street parking but other than that, no real complaints! read more

This was our first time visiting, though we've driven by many times and always noticed how packed the place is. So we figured we'd finally give it a try for breakfast. We went on a Friday and, luckily, found a parking spot just as someone was leaving. Parking is definitely limited, and that's one of the main reasons I'm not giving this place 5 stars. If you're not lucky, you'll have to wait or find street parking nearby. We ordered the Eggs Benedict (two orders), the Ribeye Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and the French Toast. Eggs Benedict I make Eggs Benedict at home often, so my family knows what they like. As shown in the photo I attached, the hollandaise sauce was runny and lacked flavor -- likely due to not enough butter or being diluted too much. My son and husband thought it was just "okay." They've had better elsewhere. French Toast My 12-year-old daughter always orders French toast when we dine out. This version used challah bread, which she wasn't familiar with -- and unfortunately, she didn't enjoy it. From the picture, it looks like they used whole grain challah, which might not be the best choice for kids. Ribeye Steak Meal It was close to noon and I was hungry, so I ordered the ribeye steak meal, which was about $40. Unfortunately, the steak quality didn't meet my expectations. It was thin -- maybe half an inch -- and reminded me of something you might find at a grocery store. That said, the chargrilled flavor was excellent and really stood out. The garlic mashed potatoes were great -- not too runny, not too thick -- and the Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good, even for someone who doesn't usually eat them. The peppers that came with the dish felt unnecessary, and I wasn't a fan of the mushroom sauce, which didn't really complement the grilled steak flavor. Service & Seating Our server was fantastic -- very friendly and attentive. We had a reservation, so our table was ready when we arrived. Without one, we likely would have had to wait. Final Thoughts Overall, it was a mixed experience. There were some hits and some misses, but we're open to giving the place another try. Next time, we'll probably explore different items on the menu. Just a heads-up: if you're going on a weekend, expect a wait for both parking and seating -- unless you book ahead. read more

Went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast... and it definitely did not disappoint. I absolutely love the fact that you are able to make reservations or join the waitlist over yelp. With that being said made a last minute reservation the night before The decor of the entire restaurant is just to elegant and trendy from the decor to the silverware they use. Food: I ordered the chilaquiles and I've had homemade chilaquiles and let me tell you they were up there. Their a good portion and the sauce is delicious. I ordered the Matcha latte that went perfectly with my chilaquiles. Service: Upon arrival we didn't have to wait much to be seated and our server approached up very quickly to take our drink order. Everyone was extremely nice and although we had a server everyone that walked by checked on you or could be stopped to ask if something was needed. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their food as everything people around me were ordering looked so good. read more

I was craving Eggs Benedict last Sunday. Good ones are surprisingly hard to find, so I was delighted when I came across The Corner and tried theirs. The service was great from the start without waiting for water, etc. Their Bloody Mary was excellent and Instagram-worthy. I ordered my eggs with extra crispy hashbrowns and that's exactly how they came. That's another thing that's hard to get for some reason. And considering that The Corner is not a "fancy" restaurant, their presentation was amazing. The eggs were sprinkled with fresh herbs like dill, and Italian parsley, and even edible flowers. My first time but not my last! read more

Came here after my son's kindergarten graduation and was over charged after going over my bill several times. I've called and left messages with no return call. My moms food came out called and wasnt a full order. Drinks were ordered that never came it was very chaotic. The outside seating area was where we sat since we had a big party if kids and and adults. My steak sandwich was dry and not good at all. My mom also did not like her food. read more

My mom and I went for brunch. We tried the avocado toast and egg sandwich, and were very pleased with both. Flavor profiles were completely on point. I especially liked the spicy aioli on the sandwich and the guacamole on the toast. Brioche bun was perfect and the eggs for both meals were well-prepared. Fast service. Polite staff. We're definitely coming back to sample more of the menu. read more

We had a delicious breakfast!! The lavender blueberry pancakes did not disappoint, and the Denver omelette was very yummy. We went at 9 as m for breakfast and honestly it was the perfect time as it was not very busy and it was still cool enough to eat outside without the scorching heat. The staff were all attentive and courteous to our entire party, and our waiter even joked around with my granddaughter. What a great way to begin grandparents weekend! read more

I've driven by this spot sooo many times and can't believe I didn't try until now! Came here for brunch and was torn between a few things, but decided on the eggs Benedict.
