The Corner is a nice neighborhood cafe that serves salads, sandwiches, burgers and also breakfast until 3pm. My son and I tried this place today for lunch and had a decent experience. They have a very extensive menu here. There's a parking lot in the back and I also noticed a sign that said Complimentary Valet but there wasn't anyone at the stand. We walked in to a completely empty restaurant and saw one server (Denise) taking another table's order outside. I think she was the only employee on duty and doing everything by herself. After about 7 minutes, she approached us and asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside, and we said outside. Then she asked us if we preferred the smoking or non-smoking patio, and we chose non-smoking. I didn't even know this was an option nowadays, I thought smoking at restaurants wasn't allowed anymore. Apparently they also have hookah available every day starting at 5pm, both inside and outside the restaurant. I was really looking forward to trying their frittata but didn't know that breakfast was only until 3pm. Unfortunately I couldn't order it since we got here around 4pm. We stayed with our waters and I got a bowl of their Clam Chowder soup that came with 2 bulky and FRESH pieces of warm Focaccia bread. I also ordered a Chicken Pesto Panini which came with Grilled Chicken Breast, Basil Pesto Aioli, Tomato, Mozzarella, Fresh Basil, Roasted Peppers and Arugula on toasted Ciabatta Bread. I chose Fruit as my side. The ingredients were all fresh, but unfortunately the bread was toasted way more than my liking and the sandwich was really dry overall. There wasn't enough pesto and the chicken was a bit overcooked. I felt like I was hurting my tooth as I ate it. On the other hand, my soup absolutely stole the show. It was an outstanding bowl of Clam Chowder that really hit the spot after not having it for several years. It was piping hot, and again, very fresh. So flavorful and enjoyable. I savored every spoonful! My son ordered the French Turkey Sandwich that came with Roasted Turkey with Swiss Cheese, Avocado, Tomato, Pickles, Lettuce, Red Onions, Garlic Aioli on Sourdough Bread. He loved his sandwich and ate every crumb off his plate. I also had some of his sandwich and it was really good, way better than mine. Also nice portion for the price. He got his with a side salad that had arugula, tomatoes, red onion and lemon vinaigrette. After seating us and taking our order, Denise disappeared and Bryce took over. He was an excellent server and provided great customer service. I told him about my issues with my sandwich and he apologized and brought me some extra pesto aioli on the side. The place is very clean and everything looks very new and well-kept. Bryce mentioned they've been around for about 10 years but did an extensive remodel during COVID. I'd also like to mention that the tap water tasted so good. No nasty aftertaste like some other restaurants. Even their glasses were beautiful. Thank you management, Bryce and The Corner. We will be back another time to try the same sandwich and see if there's any improvement. We will also try more things, including the Frittata. Both restrooms were fully stocked and super clean!!
(Dined 03/06/2026 FR @ 10:00am): This restaurant was literally located on a corner! One of my best friends and I met up at The Corner as we caught up with each other as grown men over 50 did these days. Neither of us had been here before, but I've driven by this place countless times since it was near my dentist, and I used the street as a main thoroughfare sometimes getting to and from the properties. I normally wasn't an eater during formal breakfast hours, but exceptions happened sometime. Did we have a good time as we hung out at this corner!? PURCHASE(S) Passion Fruit Lemonade ($12.00): To be sure, I was aghast when I saw the price of this tropical drink. Who does it think it was... an Erewhon smoothie!? Everything smelled and tasted fresh and not bruised in the cooking process. The hash browns was a huge portion size with a lovely exterior crusting while the interior was hot and soft as the catsup was used as a cooling agent and added flavor. The sourdough bread was functional and crunchier than I liked (I preferred a chewier toast). Once again, a stylish presentation but a diminutive portion size, it was lighter than expected (I liked it more dense), there were obvious notes of spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, some signs of shredded carrot that added some moisture and sweetness, while the whipped cream cheese frosting sprinkled with cinnamon and nuts that added a touch of tanginess to the sweetness. Then, our female server came by with menus, glasses of water, and provided us time to decide what we wanted. We eventually ordered, our drinks came out quickly followed by the food minutes later. She checked on us regularly, and once we were done, there wasn't any pressure to vacate the table even though they were getting really busy. Everything was superb - thank you! PARKING (FREE): I luckily found a spot in their tight lot. Otherwise, there appeared to be available parking along the main drag of San Fernando Rd. and all surrounding side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A surprisingly roomy clean modern restaurant with multiple dining areas that included a patio and bar with a blended feel of both casual and classy. In some strange way, it reminded me of an event space I constructed for Coachella years ago! A decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front glass windows and doors while a mix of fanciful and recessed electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. My background was in advertising, marketing, and promotions, so I completely understood presentation, but that rarely translated into added value for the frugal person in me. On the other hand, the menu was varied enough, the space was really nice, and the service was excellent. Plus, I always preferred to support small local mom & pop businesses. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $55.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
Finally made it to The Corner and from the moment I walked in I could tell this place takes itself seriously in all the right ways. The interior is ultra modern and clearly well thought out. We sat on the patio, lots of plants, trees, and marble tabletops that actually feel intentional. The staff was large and attentive. I ordered the Thai Shrimp Bowl and since the dressing has almonds and I have a nut allergy, they substituted a nut free option without any fuss. The bowl was fresh and delicious, my only note is I wished it was a little larger. We also had the fish tacos which were great, nothing to complain about flavor wise. The Corner is a solid spot all around.
We arrived for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the menu. There are so many options, and everything that passed us looked delicious. We definitely ordered more than we could eat, but wanted to try a few different items. Everything we ordered was delicious, portions were plenty and our waitress, Lexi, was attentive and patient as we had many questions and took a while deciding. Valet is complimentary, and there is also street parking if you can find any available spots, as it's busy area. The restaurant is on the louder side, has music playing and people speaking over it, so it's a bit overwhelming in that aspect. Otherwise, tables are spaced nicely apart, chairs are comfortable, the decore is tasteful and inviting and the vibe is welcoming. We highly recommend a visit and we can't wait to return! Enjoy.
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 First of all, the parking situation was bad. I came here on weekend to eat breakfast since they have very high reviews. The parking lot is shared with nearby motel and it was packed. Finally found the parking on the street. It was raining on that day and they didn't have that patio seating open. I ordered cappuccino, classic breakfast with two eggs and bacons. Also order omelette, my dishes come with waffle and pancakes. Everything was tasted good, but nothing special. This place is a bit on the pricier side. I would like to come back here again when they have the outdoor patio open it seems like nice seating area to enjoy breakfast and people watching.
The corner has been a favorite for brunch especially with their delicious waffles! It had been a while since we'd come back but I was very disappointed to see such a price jump on their menu! I do know things have gone up in price, but making a $19 dollar item $30 now is a bit much! I came in for my birthday and quickly realized their menu had changed, after a quick glance I did see the price change. I'm happy that they're growing and prospering but it is now not a breakfast place I can't keep on rotation. The food here is still as delicious as it was before. The Mexican omelette is my favorite, the chorizo and tortilla crisps complement each other so well! The waffles are the absolute BEST! They aren't overly sweet & they have the perfect balance between crunch and fluff. The service was quick, they checked on us during our entire meal and made sure we had what we needed. If you want to spend 60+ on breakfast for 2, this is a good spot! The food will not disappoint!
Visited on a Saturday during brunch time and thankfully, had a reservation because it was packed! Amazing service and the menu offered a wide selection. I absolutely adored the Steak Sandwich. It had nicely toasted ciabatta bread holding a juicy piece of steak cooked medium along with caramelized onions, cheese, and arugula. You can choose the side as well (salad, french fries, or fruit). It was savory and filling! Probably the best steak sandwich I've ever had. I also tried my friend's truffle fries and was amazed by how strong the truffle flavor was. They definitely didn't skimp out on the truffle! They offer free valet parking (entrance on the big street). You can choose to sit outside in the patio or inside. Very spacious and comfortable seating and contemporary interior design. Overall, loved my experience here and will be back for more!
Had this place on spots I needed to try for breakfast, and finally made the time to head over. Didn't have a reservation but there were against takes so we were seated right away. Menu is big with plenty of options, su street browsing, I started with a Lovers Island cocktail, combining tequila, mango puree, limoncello and lime. It's an interesting drink missing the mango with the limoncello. Not sure if it is limoncello from Italy but it does cut the sweetness with from the mango, but still remains fairly balanced. For food, we started with the avocado rolls with a tamarind cashew dipping sauce. The sauce was grea, giving this level of sweetness to pair with the onions and sun dried tomatoes in the avocado told. Really enjoyed these! For eggs, we tried the breakfast burrito and the short rib Benedict. Three benefit is huge, coming on waffles, with a layer of guacamole with ample short rib and perfectly poached eggs. However, we felt the short rib needed to be seasoned better and just felt it was missing something to bring it all together as a bite. The short rib was cooked very well though. As for the breakfast burrito, it is stuffed with avocado and hash browns, and came with a side of hash browns. Like the short rib, the hash browns needed seasoned desperately. Only took one bite of them, and that lack of seasoning ended it right here. The burrito, itself, was pretty good with the Mexican chorizo giving it a ton of flavor. Overall, decent breakfast spot with other options besides breakfast. This avocado rolls were great, and the burrito itself was very good. I'd skip on the short rib benedict though.
1st time trying this place for brunch searching on Yelp. I ended up ordering their Breakfast Special that includes eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Pancakes were soft and not too sweet. It was good to eat with their syrup. I also ordered Protein Omelet that was made from egg whites. Inside the omelet was pieces of chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese. I like this omelet because it was light, also lean, and healthy dish I would say. It was seasoned well. This order also came with waffles that I didn't like. Waffles were tough to chew. Outside was tough and rubbery. Inside was dry and not a good flavor. Service was okay but I waited for a while to get their attention at first. This place is clean with modern style and decors. Suitable for children and family dining.
What a gem! After recovering from a serious food coma, I had to write this review--still thinking about that frittata. It was my first time here, though my husband had been before and loved it, so we came with our kid yesterday. It was busy, but the service was fast and incredibly welcoming. I loved the place right away. My husband ordered the short rib eggs Benedict ($27--not cheap), but wow, the portion was generous and the short rib was unbelievably tender and flavorful. Absolutely worth it. I ordered the frittata, which came with potatoes and bread. The bread had lots of sesame seeds (a big plus for me) and was delicious. Our kid loved the chicken tenders and fries--these felt freshly made in-house, not frozen. He said they were really good. They also have a cozy outdoor seating area. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud indoors. Otherwise, 10/10. We'll definitely be back to try more breakfast items
I was looking to have avocado toast in Glendale. My wife and I found this renovated restaurant and were surprised. It was clean, beautiful, with warm service and perfect staff. We ordered avocado toast, hummus, pancakes, coffee, and fresh juice. Overall, the check was around $70, which is actually worth paying for the delicious meals and experience. I'll definitely come back to this spot. Thanks to the staff, they made us happy!

After a date night with my wife, we stopped by The Corner to relax and wind down. We ordered a hookah and some tea, and both were excellent. Hookah was an easy 5/5, smooth and flavorful. The tea was a perfect way to end the night--served with fresh mint (not just a bag), plus lemon and honey, which made a big difference in flavor. Service was great, all smiles, and the place was spotless. The ambiance has a nice Middle Eastern/Mediterranean feel that makes it easy to just sit back and enjoy. We didn't try the food, but everything we saw being served to other tables looked great. Parking was easy with both a lot and street options nearby. Overall, great spot for hookah, tea, and a relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back. read more

So this is a newer spot in Glendale, and I had heard from friends that it was a great spot so I tried it out myself. We each got a drink, I got a matcha latte and he got the pecan latte. We both agreed the drinks were alright, 6/10 for both. I got the new breakfast bowl with sweet potatoes, beans, spinach, cheesey eggs, bacon and toast. For how simple this meal was this was done incredibly! I would give a 9/10 and am looking forward to having this again! Hubby got the breakfast burrito with chorizo in it, and incredible salsas on the side. He is much judgier than I and gave the burrito a 9/10!!!! Insanely good. We also got the belgian waffles......you guys. This was the best thing here. I have had many waffles some even in Europe, these were THE BEST waffles I have ever had. The vanilla buttery flavor and were the CRISPIEST waffles ive had. I was told the owners mother gets there early to make them and it is her recipe. I am going to tell everyone about this place just on the waffles alone! Also the cream and berries on top were divine and made it even better. The service was 10/10, super kind funny waitresses and waitors, they grab you purse hangers for your table if you have a bag with you, and are always making sure youre taking care of. Overall this place is a 9.5/10 but honestly could hit a 10/10 easily if they imprive their specialty drinks. I cant wait to come back! read more

The food here was surprisingly very good! We went on a Sunday for brunch, and was excited to see they had someone playing live music with a saxophone! It really created a jazz-like cozy environment for a Sunday afternoon. The customer service was also great! The staff here was really nice! The chicken goddess sandwich was flavorful and the bread was nice & warm. The pasta also had a good garlicky flavor to it! The drinks here was so good as well. First time here and won't be the last. Not far from the infamous IKEA in Burbank and a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of items for vegetarians and meat lovers. *Prices are reasonable* The inside is very clean as well as the 2 covered outdoor patios. Pretty good lunch spot. Met some friends here around 12 noon and luckily we beat the rush! We got a table right away and ordered some drinks. I got a mimosa, friend got a glass of wine and the other two got coffee. We shared a nachos plate to start. I got the ahi salad but with balsamic dressing. Overall a great place to meet up and hang out! Place is clean, staff is frienly! Parking can be a pain as there's only street parking but other than that, no real complaints! read more

Went here on a Sunday morning for breakfast... and it definitely did not disappoint. I absolutely love the fact that you are able to make reservations or join the waitlist over yelp. With that being said made a last minute reservation the night before The decor of the entire restaurant is just to elegant and trendy from the decor to the silverware they use. Food: I ordered the chilaquiles and I've had homemade chilaquiles and let me tell you they were up there. Their a good portion and the sauce is delicious. I ordered the Matcha latte that went perfectly with my chilaquiles. Service: Upon arrival we didn't have to wait much to be seated and our server approached up very quickly to take our drink order. Everyone was extremely nice and although we had a server everyone that walked by checked on you or could be stopped to ask if something was needed. Will definitely be coming back to try more of their food as everything people around me were ordering looked so good. read more

This was our first time visiting, though we've driven by many times and always noticed how packed the place is. So we figured we'd finally give it a try for breakfast. We went on a Friday and, luckily, found a parking spot just as someone was leaving. Parking is definitely limited, and that's one of the main reasons I'm not giving this place 5 stars. If you're not lucky, you'll have to wait or find street parking nearby. We ordered the Eggs Benedict (two orders), the Ribeye Steak with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and the French Toast. Eggs Benedict I make Eggs Benedict at home often, so my family knows what they like. As shown in the photo I attached, the hollandaise sauce was runny and lacked flavor -- likely due to not enough butter or being diluted too much. My son and husband thought it was just "okay." They've had better elsewhere. French Toast My 12-year-old daughter always orders French toast when we dine out. This version used challah bread, which she wasn't familiar with -- and unfortunately, she didn't enjoy it. From the picture, it looks like they used whole grain challah, which might not be the best choice for kids. Ribeye Steak Meal It was close to noon and I was hungry, so I ordered the ribeye steak meal, which was about $40. Unfortunately, the steak quality didn't meet my expectations. It was thin -- maybe half an inch -- and reminded me of something you might find at a grocery store. That said, the chargrilled flavor was excellent and really stood out. The garlic mashed potatoes were great -- not too runny, not too thick -- and the Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good, even for someone who doesn't usually eat them. The peppers that came with the dish felt unnecessary, and I wasn't a fan of the mushroom sauce, which didn't really complement the grilled steak flavor. Service & Seating Our server was fantastic -- very friendly and attentive. We had a reservation, so our table was ready when we arrived. Without one, we likely would have had to wait. Final Thoughts Overall, it was a mixed experience. There were some hits and some misses, but we're open to giving the place another try. Next time, we'll probably explore different items on the menu. Just a heads-up: if you're going on a weekend, expect a wait for both parking and seating -- unless you book ahead. read more

I was craving Eggs Benedict last Sunday. Good ones are surprisingly hard to find, so I was delighted when I came across The Corner and tried theirs. The service was great from the start without waiting for water, etc. Their Bloody Mary was excellent and Instagram-worthy. I ordered my eggs with extra crispy hashbrowns and that's exactly how they came. That's another thing that's hard to get for some reason. And considering that The Corner is not a "fancy" restaurant, their presentation was amazing. The eggs were sprinkled with fresh herbs like dill, and Italian parsley, and even edible flowers. Came here after my son's kindergarten graduation and was over charged after going over my bill several times. I've called and left messages with no return call. My moms food came out called and wasnt a full order. Drinks were ordered that never came it was very chaotic. The outside seating area was where we sat since we had a big party if kids and and adults. My steak sandwich was dry and not good at all. My mom also did not like her food. read more

This place is awesome! We gave it a try as a family last weekend for breakfast and I'll happily go back any day, any time. The food is so tasty and the place is beautifully decorated. Plenty of parking too. We had been meaning to try this place for pastry and coffee originally when we saw it on social media but decided to try breakfast when we got there. I had the corner breakfast special (eggs, potatoes, bacon and pancakes). It was delicious and enough for me to share with my two littles. The hubs had the breakfast burrito and it was tasty. And my older son wanted a club type of sandwich so he had the BLT with added turkey. It was great. The ingredients they use is great quality, you can tell with each bite you take. My mom and I went for brunch. We tried the avocado toast and egg sandwich, and were very pleased with both. Flavor profiles were completely on point. I especially liked the spicy aioli on the sandwich and the guacamole on the toast. Brioche bun was perfect and the eggs for both meals were well-prepared. Fast service. Polite staff. Wonderful spot. Came here with my daughters for breakfast. Staff very friendly. I got pancakes for my daughters to share it was fluffy delicious like it should be they brought a side of Nutella which made it even taster for them. I got the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes. Eggs were cooked just the way I like them and hollandaise sauce was perfect. Side of potatoes were also favored. We enjoyed our meal and atmosphere. We had a delicious breakfast!! The lavender blueberry pancakes did not disappoint, and the Denver omelette was very yummy. We went at 9 as m for breakfast and honestly it was the perfect time as it was not very busy and it was still cool enough to eat outside without the scorching heat. The staff were all attentive and courteous to our entire party, and our waiter even joked around with my granddaughter. What a great way to begin grandparents weekend! read more

went here expecting a great experience, especially cause of their ratings. I arrived to the location at exactly 10:13am, Our server was very slow, and left my boyfriend & i unattended for a while. other tables that came after us already had their drinks & food. my boyfriend and i finally ordered it was around 10:45am!! Server didn't provide nor offer any other condiments but brought some to the other tables. I've driven by this spot sooo many times and can't believe I didn't try until now! Came here for brunch and was torn between a few things, but decided on the eggs Benedict. It was absolutely delicious, cooked perfectly, and the bread was sooooo perfect. The hashbrowns were amazingly crispy, too. I would absolutely come back here again and probably will very, very soon! read more
