    Matcha Latte iced
    Sarah B.

A friend and I popped over to The Corner Beet after a yoga class at the studio next door (Rooted Heart Yoga & Wellness) and enjoyed a lovely Sunday breakfast on the patio! The menu is very vegetarian/vegan friendly. I ordered the breakfast burrito (classic) with green chili on the side. The burrito is a pretty decent size for a breakfast burrito, I'd definitely order again. My friend order the burrito (minus the wrap) and got hers with a side of hot sauce. The hot sauce is house made and was REALLY GOOD. I preferred the hot sauce over the green chili. I also ordered the hibiscus matcha (decaf) iced latte and it was so, so tasty. I'm a huge hibiscus fan and this latte did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and probably a great working spot. If I lived closer, I'd work from there a few days a week. There's a large outdoor area to sit; since this place is located on the corner, there's seating on each side of the street. The service was quick for how busy it was. The baristas were super friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. All street parking from what I could tell. I'll definitely be back!

Such a cute cafe with lots of vegan and vegetarian options! I had the breakfast sandwich and it was amazing. It has a maple sage roasted lion's mane mushroom and that's what made the flavor so unique! The ciabatta roll was quality too and made the sandwich feel more upscale. I also had one of their rotating pressed juices and not only did I feel so healthy, it was refreshing and tasty! This place is a counter service where you order at the counter and find a table, so make sure you get there early on weekends if you want a table inside.

I genuinely think about the Savory Forest toast once a day - please do yourself a favor and get it!!

First time at Corner Beet and it felt very homie -- like a little home away from home. The vibes were really good, the space was clean, and the vegan food was solid. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but definitely worth it for the quality. Overall a really welcoming spot and I'd absolutely come back.

Most definitely my type of place! As a beet lover, what this coffee shop offers/serves truly resonates with the kind of diet I, on a daily basis, eat. Although what I got me the past Saturday was a simple doppio where I didn't order any food (as I was in a huge hurry), I can certainly look forward to spending a decent amount of time sitting down with some healthy bite to eat next time. Service was top notch. A young smiley lady kindly informed me that their "single" espresso already comes with two shots so she wanted to confirm if I meant two shots of espresso when I ordered "double espresso". Attention to detail or what, right? What I wanted was definitely two shots of espresso so I restated my order as "single espresso". Glad that I didn't get four shots; that would have made me so jittery for sure. Plants are everywhere in this shop. Vibrant beet color is seen everywhere (talking Tim Burton world) from the bar stools to wallpaper etc. When the sun is still shining from the east, the window seating facing the east might be the best place to sit and sip/eat your stuff. Only a few blocks away from the busy Colfax but the shop inside is a different world with a little bit of magical touch. A little bit of hippie feel might be what I'm trying to say/describe the place. Bell bottom pants would be a perfect outfit for showing up to a place like this.

2.5 years later, it's time for an updated review! I came here with my friend for lunch on a weekday and totally forgot it existed. I feel like Corner Beet is ALWAYS poppin' with locals and upbeat vibes. Ordered a Peace in the Middle East toast, along with one of their fancy coffees (can't remember which one). There's options for everyone, and it's all tasty. We sat at the bar, which was a perfect vantage point to watch the talented baristas at work and check out the gorgeous decor. Corner Beet is always allowing local businesses to promote their goods & services - really gives it a community feel. Both indoor seating options and outdoor patio are both gorgeous. Definitely made it to my list of Denver favorites!

A very nice and cozy restaurant with good food, music and atmosphere! It was a snowy day and really nice visit to this place.

Our go to for our first breakfast every time we visit Denver! Super adorable little restaurant with super friendly service. We always order the Breakfast Burrito with tofu and beyond sausage, smothered in Green Chili sauce. It is hands down delish, loaded with beans, bell pepper, and this trip? The most perfect flavor ever!! SOOOO good - please open one in Clearwater, FL - we need you!!!

Want to have a delicious and healthy meal? This place is amazing. Very cool vibe with seating inside and out. You order at the counter and it does not take long for the food/drinks to come to your table. Try hitting Garden Sauna next store before or after!

My friend and I popped in after yoga the other day. We googled smoothies and this place came up. I wouldn't really say they have smoothies though.. at least I didn't see any on the menu. We opted for the taproot latte. It has beet, cinnamon and some other stuff in it. It came out hot and I definitely was wanting a cold drink but that was my mistake. My friend also got a GF mango muffin which was a little dry but otherwise very good. Our lattes were very tasty and beautiful too! The staff was super friendly and we bopped around the apothecary shop next door too. Great lil space to hang out

Healthy vegetarian food with lots of flavor! Would highly recommend their Beet and Pistachio French toast. Generous portion sizes so good as shareables. Hot lattes and turmeric/ginger shots to fight the cold!

Every time i eat here, it reminds me why it's my favorite coffee shop in Denver. There's nothing to change about this place other than moving it closer to me house. The lattes.. amazing, the food, omg! The plants, the views. It doesn't get better than this. If this place ever goes out of business, i will move out of the city. There will be no reason for me to live here anymore. Please keep up the hard work.

The space feels very Root Down in the best way. Funky, artsy, a little mid century, but still comfortable and not trying too hard. Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. Really lovely all vegan place that I visited twice while I was in Denver…read more Between my two visits, I got the gnocchi with sweet potato sauce, the Cuban sandwich, ginger beer, and the giant chocolate chip cookie. All of it was really great, but I think the gnocchi was my favorite of the two entrees. The ginger beer is not super gingery, tastes like Fevertree. The chocolate chip cookie with sea salt is an absolute must! It comes wrapped so I took mine back to the hotel to share with my non-veg husband after he got back from his work conference dinners and he said they were the best chocolate chip cookies he'd ever had! Also, I think it's fun that the plates are made to look like wood, but aren't. The first time I came it had been pouring rain, so the restaurant wasn't as full and it was very easy to find an open table, but the second time it was positively packed, and both times were week nights, so I suspect this place is pretty popular with the locals. I like that the ordering is done through QR code and website, since that would make it easy for groups and means you don't have to all know what you want at the same time (or, if dining solo as I was, you don't need to interact as much with staff, which is sometimes a blessing). Several members of the staff wore face masks, which I appreciated, and there were some nice paintings on the walls from local artists for sale. If I am ever in Denver again, I think I would really like to come back here--and I'd definitely get the chocolate chip cookie every time!

I went with the side buffalo cauliflower & the chicken Caesar salad. Both were fresh, had lots of flavor and filling-- highly recommend. When closing out my tab at the counter, I picked up a chocolate chip cookie togo (extra large in size and just the right about of sweetness). With the menu so unique I prefer a little more "hands on service" but the experience was tasty and eager to come back and try other things. Clean, homemade, high quality vegan food with lots of GF options/ substitution-- Highly recommend.

I honestly was surprised by how much I liked the Sweet Beet salad, as I am not typically a fan of grapefruit (which I believe was one of the citrus fruits included in the dish), but it's a great mix of sweet and earthy flavors. The location is inside of a food court type setup, so this also seems like a good place for a group with varied tastes, as if you have omnivores with a fear of vegetarian/vegan food with you, they could grab food elsewhere and I believe you could take your food and eat it out in the court area together. The decor is modern and reasonably trendy, and the restaurant was very clean (but we also arrived shortly after opening, so that's to be expected). I think it would make a decent date spot as well. I think next time I'm in the Denver area, I would prioritize stopping by here. It was really tasty, and a nice little gem of a restaurant!

The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!
