Great little take out soot with gourmet offerings. Delicious choices daily that you can grab and Go. I came with my 2 boys during the summer so we were able to eat outside on the picnic tables however this is a great grab and take home place. I had some fish and asian noodle salad that was delicious. Both my boys ate everything it was all so good. While ordering lunch I asked a few questions about the menu, including allergies information and whether or not things were spicy (ordering for my 11month old daughter).. the woman at the counter rolled her eyes at my questions and pointed to the menu on the wall. Absolutely delicious. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. It's a small takeout shop, but it's basically like having a personal chef. The food is top notch. If this was served at a nice restaurant in NYC it would easily cost 3-4x as much. There's a daily menu that's posted on Facebook. I got the Cod cakes which were the biggest and most delicious Cod cakes I've ever had. Potatoes Dauphinoise were absurdly good. Pretty much the culinary peak of potatoes, nothing potato based will ever taste as good, it's like the best of potatoes and lasagna in one dish. I can't believe I'm talking about potatoes at this length. To be fair, the Polenta tasted alright, but after the Cod cakes and Potatoes it didn't really matter. The takeout model is pretty fit for purpose. Everyone's really here to ski and staying at a hotel/cabin so ideal to reheat and eat at home. Well now. See there was this old take out place in this spot. It wasn't great. Kinda forgettable. This is not that place. Instead, you get warm service offering a daily assortment of really tasty takeout food. Kind of like a personal chef. We stopped by and got a good assortment of fresh tasty dishes. Lemon chicken. Grilled salmon. A noodle salad that was just light and awesome. Overall a really pleasant surprise. Worth stopping if you don't want to cook. Prices aren't cheap but the quality is there to match. We got the Cowboy Pie (Beef, Local Corn Southwestern Spiced w/ Dirty Garlic Mashed Potatoes); Red Wine Garlic, Cumin & Chipotle Roasted Chicken Thighs w/ Chipolte Guava and Maple Glaze, and Pepitas; Green Salad (Little Leaf Farm Greens w/ Apples, Raspberries, Local Farmstead Brie and Pecans); and a Congo Bars (Coconut, Pecans, Bittersweet Dark Chocolate, Dulce de Leche, Flaked Sea Salt and a Brown Butter Graham Cracker Crust) for dessert. There isn't one item that I wouldn't nomz nomz nomz down on. The dishes are healthy, flavorful, filling, magical and inspiring. I have high regard for all of her steak creations, and I love that I'm viewed as strange for eating the cod cakes cold. I enjoy the unique wooden utensils; kind of quirky, neat and an interesting conversation piece. There is no seating here, it's kind of a deli style of setting. Especially if your a vegetarian or Vegan you will be happy with the options offered, which use high quality ingredients; many from the food co-op. I visit weekly sometimes 2 or 3 times, and would highly recommend visiting. read more
