I am staying in Weston for a week and i couldn't have picked a more perfect place to eat. This place encapsulates the Vermont charm in a homey restaurant. They have delicious farmhouse fare food and the service was excellent. My server was very attentive, even with the hustle and bustle of the lunch rush. I am happily making my way through their menu, especially with breakfast all day. You also can't beat the prices. Superb food!! I will definitely be back- with friends!

We enjoyed our lunch at the Hub , traveling from NJ to northern Vermont for vacation. We made advanced reservations and were seated right away . Pleasant atmosphere and service along with delicious food was a nice break during our travels. I really liked the grilled cheese, cream of corn soup and salad while my husband enjoyed his steak and cheese sandwich that also came with a side salad . We will definitely return when we visit Vermont again.

We were coming into the state to visit friends and we wanted to grab a bite. Along the way my girlfriend was searching for a place to stop at and I am glad we found this spot! It is a small restaurant so we definitely suggest you make reservations. We tried but it was late; luckily they did have bar seating and in all honesty we had the best seats in the house. Jess the bartender was great. She offered great advice but was great to talk with as we waited for our food. We started off with the charcuterie board which came with a pork pâté with olives, pickled cauliflower, pickles, mustard and several pieces of warm toasted bread. What a way to start a meal. For our entrees I had the Native Pork which was served with parsnips, mushrooms and asparagus. The pork was flavorful and surprisingly it came with a piece of pork belly which melted like butter but yet was crispy as well. The steak was perfectly cooked. It was a rather large portion served over some noodles, book choy and peppers. My girlfriend had the homemade gnocchi which she said was spectacular. To top off the meal I had an affogato which ended the night perfectly.

Small, quaint, converted house, which is now arguably the nicest restaurant in the Weston area. I ordered the Swordfish ($29), which was nicely grilled and pretty good, though it could have been a bit more flavorful. It came with some flowering broccoli and celery root. The broccoli was well cooked and easy to chew, while the celery root was surprisingly tasty with a consistency kind of like a mushroom. The Cheese Slate ($15) also has a high quality spread of cheeses, fruit spreads, almonds, and dates. The Charcuterie ($13) was rather unconventional- rather than being like the cheese slate, it had a mash of salmon and scallops in a spam-like square with a spam-like consistency (it was still decent though). For dessert, I ordered the Lime Meringue Pie ($9), which was the highlight of the meal. The lime tart was good, but the special part was the mountain of toasted marshmallow on top. The restaurant itself is an old house, so you are literally eating in a dining room, which gives it a super homey kind of vibe. There are several tables inside, but reservations are recommended. The staff are friendly and attentive. The service speed is fine. Overall, if you are in the Weston area and looking for high quality food, your options are pretty limited, but don't fear, because you can (and should) go to The Hub at Weston for a great American-style dinner in a unique environment.

Just a little local restaurant that shares a building with a small market. Maple Leaf is utilitarian, nothing fancy, but service is good and the food just what you would expect. Since it had been a while since I had a good diner breakfast I figured I would get one of my favorites, the French Toast. My meal was 3 full slices with a little side of butter patties and a small bottle of maple syrup. I expected the French Toast to be a bit sweet, but this was more just bread dipped in eggs and grilled; it lacked the custardy goodness and moist interior I look for in the best French Toast. Overall this was OK, but nothing special. Maple Leaf seems like a nice little place with pretty good food, unfortunately I think I just picked the wrong item and my expectations may have been to high. If you are looking to grab some breakfast in Londonderry give them a try.

Definitely a place for the locals in the area. Friendly waitresses and good diner food. Took the BLT, Mike's beef vegetable soup, and Tammy's Cran-orange muffin. Got the BLT on light rye, bacon extra crispy and fresh lettuce and tomato, chips---it was delicious. The soup was also very good. Bite size pieces of roast beef ...a steamy bowl of this soup will be perfect on a wintry day. The muffin was also good. Orange flavor came through well. Great breakfast spot before a long country road drive.

Underwear was out and I'm almost certain the BO was his. Ordered food right away. I got the Mac and cheese. My mate got the pot pie (wasn't a fan). Mac and cheese was horrible. Zero taste and I mean nothing (I added salt and pepper at the table and still couldn't eat it). It was also luke warm. Server come back and asks how's everything. I told him. I asked if I could switch it out for something else. His response was "we don't do that" (then why ask how my food is if you can't do anything?) ... so I said it's okay I'll just leave a review. He leaves and comes back with "I just spoke to my manager and switching it out IS something we are able to do, I'm sorry if you didn't notice my name tag right here says visitor I'm new." If that's the case he needs more training before being thrown out onto the floor and probably shouldn't make up his own policies. I changed to the grilled cheese which oddly had more taste to it than the Mac. As we were getting ready to pay we realize we left out wallets in the car (it's 26 degrees outside and we parked across the street and down some ways) we wanted to pay with our phones to which he says "we don't take tap" ... okay guess we'll go get the wallets. On the way out I notice the system they're using has a card reader that I have used before and know 1000% you can tap on. So I let him know and had a hand in finishing his training. Never will go back the food and the service needs help.

There was a parking lot but we had already parked on-street prior. The interior was cute; there was a cafe and a few tables. We got there around 10:50, they weren't serving food until 11. This was fine since they served coffee and that was priority to us at that time. I had a medium iced maple latte and it was good. For my meal, I had the chicken and waffles sandwich which were decent; there was crispy fried chicken, cole slaw, in between freshly made fluffy waffles. It was overall decent, but something was missing; I think that was some maple syrup or some hot sauce. My child had the fried Mac and cheese donut; it's a Mac and cheese shaped into a donut; this was good and a cute way to present food. Overall, a good spot to get some breakfast and lunch.

Indeed, this is a big gallery (with a restaurant inside it) so its great for browsing, particularly if you're waiting for your meals. Food is fresh and very good. Had a miso soup while others had a potato/celery soup too. And a mushroom pasta dish to start was also tasty. For main dishes, the salmon was well done with an ample portion. On the negative: The service was haphazard on a busy Saturday night. Go on a weeknight when it is less crowded. They didn't fill out water glasses and seemed to disappear for stretches of time. Also, the "frites" on the steak au frites dish were cold and a plain pasta was a little al dente. Also, the place lacks air conditioning which is 95% fine in Vermont, except on that really warm day. Which was the day we were there. (I should note that our dinner companions had been there on the prior Thursday and said the experience then was spectacular, so the kitchen could've been a bit off on a dish or two). But overall, we had a very pleasant experience and one of the better restaurants in the South Central area. A definite place to go if you're looking for a night out..

Most breakfast places seat diners during their open hours. If it says 1:30pm then the staff can get out by 2:30. This restaurant tends to push people away - who are there for brunch - at about 12:15. Not sure the owners know how much business they are actually turning away since it's not apparent that once someone has been turned away over an hour before their end of day never bother to return. Also now that tips aren't technically taxed I would think employees would like a full day of work. Perhaps they need 2 shifts of wait staff and/or open for breakfast at 8:00am rather than 7:00.
