Went here with my best friend on a Sunday cooking class at noon. The meal of the class was a four cheese ravioli. We sat down at our own little work station, where we had two burners and all of the materials were ready to go. We were greeted with a glass of delicious Sauvignon blanc, which was one of four wines we were tasting. We also had a Sangiovese, Amarone, and Zinfandel. Chef Catherine was amazing! At first she did a demo of the whole process, which you could also see with an angled mirror even from the back of the room. We also had the recipe to follow along, so then we started working individually. With pasta making, it's easier to have a partner help out, however it's still doable to do alone if you don't have a buddy! She also walked around the room to check on everyone's progress. We never felt lost. Ultimately the food was delicious! I wish the class was longer but I understand they host many classes during the day. I will be coming back very soon!!!

Honestly one of the greatest cooking classes I've ever been to. Welcome for ages 21+. Great for a family, team bonding or even taking a significant other there. The instructor was very hands on, showed you everything for the first 30 minutes then afterwards you get to test your skills at the recipe. If you are stuck or make mistakes you are always able to call on the instructor for help, ours was chef Katrine, who was excellent. She showed us step by step how to make the dough correctly, she even came over to check on everyone periodically which was great and contributed to the lesson. The only thing I want to comment on is the class could have been a tad longer. By the time we finally finished creating the raviolis our two hours were up and they started to clean before we even boiled the pasta. Fortunately , were able to stay a few minutes after to eat. It was a great experience and highly recommend it to anyone. Would definitely come back again for another class. Be sure to book early because slots fill up quickly.

I will say that the pace was a bit quicker than my last class, as there was much more to get done, but we kept up, giggles and all. The environment was comfortable, and the staff's attention to detail created a relaxing and enjoyable evening. We didn't have to overthink anything; we could just go with the flow. Everything was prepared for us from start to finish. After cooking, we sat, ate, and were pleasantly surprised to find that, after guessing the right amount of seasoning for our produce and meat, we ended up seasoning everything perfectly to our taste. We look forward to taking more classes and inviting a few more friends to join us.

The shop itself is amazing with so many cooking and kitchen items that you can purchase. I've taken several classes here and as an amateur cook and baker each class was interesting and a learning experience . My first class was making Cavatelli pasta , something I have never made before , what a great class and it came out so yummy ! When you arrive you go into the dining area and before you begin cooking there are complimentary appetizers and wine served! It was so nice ! For my next class I wanted to take something easy and fun so I did the mozzarella and pizza class. That particular class had about 40 people attending .All the chefs were great and kept everyone engage! Recently I attended the class .. Scarpinocc pasta with brown butter and sage sauce and lemon Panacotta but after arriving we learned the initial menu slightly changed . Instead we made ravioli with impastata cheese and fresh chopped tomatoes and basil , also Vanilla honey Panacotta. It all turned out wonderful. When first arriving we had complimentary mimosas and appetizers of riceballs and chicken. This being my first time making ravioli I was very excited ! It was an amazing time and everything we made came out delicious! Along with our meal we were also served a delicious ,freshly made salad with feta cheese ! I'm now looking on their calendar to see what else peaks my interest. Will definitely be taking another class soon ! Thank you to all the wonderful and talented chefs ! Everyone was so friendly , patient and knowledgeable !

They were good then and are even better now that they have perfected their craft. I always make sure to have a few bags of these frozen in my freezer for when company comes over. Staff has always been nice and I always like to try the new/monthly flavors whenever I go before choosing which ones to take home with me. When I did ask all I got was a quick, unconvincing "sorry" with no real effort to make things right. They just had my empty box sitting on a shelf forgotten about (btw not a great/effective system, I'd recommend finding a new one) Food is ok at best. Two of my wontons were over cooked/burnt, so I couldn't even finish them, honestly felt like a waste of money. By the time I got my food the long wait ruined it for me and took away from the experience. Very disappointed. Only giving one star because they gave me an extra wonton. Overall, very underwhelming and frustrating. I only came out tonight for Chiddys Cheesesteaks but they ran out and this was the only thing that I would eat that was close by and not sold out (I wonder why)

In the fruit department, an employee was cutting up a pink pineapple. We were curious, and she happily offered us a sample, which felt like great customer service in action. I picked up a few sale items, but overall found most things to be a bit overpriced. For me, Stew Leonard's is more of a fun outing than a place to do all my regular grocery shopping. It's perfect for seasonal finds and unique items.

I loved their baked clams so much that I was pouring the sauce on my 1.5 lb stuffed lobster instead of using the drawn butter. My partner ordered the special, which was flounder with a buttery Oreganata sauce of panko breadcrumbs on a bed of homemade mashed potatoes, and surrounded by perfectly cooked mussels. It looked and tasted like a masterpiece! That dish was also huge and could feed two people. The restaurant is also a small fish market. You can't get fish fresher than that. My lobster was fished from their huge lobster tank. The restaurant is very laid back and friendly. This is a family-run affair, and it shows in the staff and the cooking. We found this restaurant through Yelp, and we are glad we did. We will definitely be back.
