Yelp Review The Cookie Corner is a great little stop for fresh cookies, local gifts, and beautifully packaged treats. The shop is clean, bright, and easy to browse, with a great ambiance and warm service that makes the visit even better. The display case is full of fresh-baked options, and the gift boxes and tins are perfect to bring home or share with friends and family. I tried the snickerdoodle, white chocolate macadamia nut, chocolate dipped peanut butter, and s'mores cookies. The snickerdoodle had that classic cinnamon-sugar warmth with a soft, comforting bite. The white chocolate macadamia nut was rich, buttery, and packed with that Hawaiʻi-style macadamia flavor. The chocolate dipped peanut butter cookie was a standout: sweet, nutty, and extra satisfying with the chocolate coating. The s'mores cookie was fun and delicious too, with that sweet, dessert-like flavor that makes it feel like a real treat. Great service, great ambiance, and delicious cookies. This is a solid stop when you want something fresh, local, and easy to gift. read more

The smell of freshly baked cookies. That will get people's attention. Well, it sure lured me in. I was running errands in the downtown financial district and found myself at my last stop at the bank. After I was done with my errands, I walked back to my car but the smell of cookies triggered my curiosity. It was an early afternoon where a Scooby Snack was in order so I headed over to The Cookie Corner (CC). Located on the ground floor of Bishop Square, this CC has been here for AGES. I used to work at American Savings Tower at Bishop Square in 2010 and it's still in the same location, near the elevators to the parking. In doing a little research, CC started in Pioneer Square in 1981 and then moved to this current location. CC has now expanded to 12 locations throughout Oahu. I am a creature of habit and will get chocolate chip cookies sans nuts. Upon entry, I inhaled the strong aroma of butter, vanilla and chocolate. My eyes made a bee line to the chocolate chip cookies where I asked the clerk for 2. They were weighed and she rung up my purchase. I walked away all happy as I now had a delicious Scooby snack for later. Other favorites with CC are their tropical fruit bars and their Island style bite sized cookies that I often receive as gifts from friends. I also recall seeing almond cookies during Chinese New Year with the red dot in the center. So why not 5-stars? Service was lacking for me as the staff didn't have personality nor pep. Too functional and needs to engage with your customers. If you want delicious, freshly baked cookies with a nice crunch outside and a soft, chewy center with milk chocolate chips , don't look further. CC will satisfy your sweet tooth and can be enjoyed by all. read more

I don't like sweets but I am a frequent buyer of Cookie Corner to support local businesses and local dentists and to give my workers a sugar surge to get through the end of the day. The workers are not bubbly and smiley, but area always very polite and helpful. Cookies are priced according to weight and seems expensive to a non-cookie eater. But the hubs loves the chocolate chip, and I go to the office with a baggie of assorted normal sized cookies and it takes about a week to go through it. Those bite sized ones get inhaled way too fast, but seems more economical. Are they good cookies? I'm not the best judge, but haven't heard any complaints! read more

Prices are too high for what you are paying for! Kind of sad. Wanted to get the little keychain with the little girl for girls day but it was $17.95. Funny thing? We went to Daiyso and saw the same little girl for $3. Plus the cookies aren't so grand. I mean, yes, they taste decent and crunchy but not for those prices!! Yiiikes read more

Love the irresistible smell of cookies while strolling around Bishop Square and collecting pokestop items. It's a small cookie corner but has what a usual Cookie corner sells. I usually get the chocolate chip, coconut cookie, and M&M cookie. All are really delicious. When I'm in a certain mood, I'd rather get the small chocolate chip cookies that come in those plastic cups. I haven't seen the promotion for Buy 2 cookies and get a drink at this location so it usually takes out a chunk of my change.. The ladies I've encountered here aren't the friendliest which is why I rarely come here unless I'm in the mood for cookies. I understand it's just a place to pick up cookies and what not but with the thought in the back of my head that their negative energy gets exerted into baking those cookies doesn't give me good vibes you know? Make it with love & Aloha! read more

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE The smell of fresh-baked cookies: a homing beacon? A reminder of comfort? Is it really possible to walk past the smell of fresh cookies without stopping, even if the price of admission is high? === 2. FOOD If you're all about value, it will be tough to find it at Cookie Corner, given the small size of the cookies relative to the price. But if you're into cookies that are simply good and constantly baked throughout the day, then this could be the place for you! At $13.50/lb (roughly 8 cookies), you're not going to win the prize for value-oriented shopper. But you can still be a winner with your coworkers downtown when you get to pick from a wide selection of fresh-baked cookies (chocolate chip, shortbread, snickerdoodle, peanut butter chocolate, etc.) as well as choose from a couple of larger cookies cost $2.79 each - M*M and Reese's peanut butter cup. There's also a number of pre-packaged boxes, bags, and cups with balloons to choose from, as well as baked fruit-based bars. Gaining weight could not be easier! === 3. SERVICE There's usually three folks working behind the counter, and it's courteous and reasonably fast. === 4. ATMOSPHERE It's a takeout place - you're not enjoying these cookies in-store. If you end up driving here, you're going to have to park in the ASB tower, or more cheaply, in Ali'i Place. read more

Such delicious cookies! We tried almost one of each. They're more of a cake like cookie which is usually not my pick but they're so soft and super tasty!! 10/10 recommend. read more

This cookie corner is located in Bishop/Alakea area next to Square Barrels Parking is NOT validated here, the parking garage near this location is very expensive, so majority of the incoming customers are foot traffic from all the nearby companies. Selection is huge and the cookies are fresh, delectable and you can taste the love!!! Staff is extremely helpful and super friendly. I usually don't go to cookie places because I like to make em myself at home but these are supppppper yummy I cant resist coming here to get rid of that 230 feeling!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE & EVERYONE read more

The Cookie Corner - 10/6/17 - Desserts Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

The Cookie Corner is one of the tenants at Bishop Square. It is a small shop and can only be seen if walking within the vicinity of the ground floor. As I entered the cookie shop for the first time I noticed that the establishment passed the Department of Health inspection. I was greeted right away by one of the employees. Towards the right side of the door customers are allowed to grab prepackaged cookies from the shelves. Customers are able to purchase small or large cups of bite size cookies or even the regular size cookies from the display case. The fountain machine is located on the left side of the entrance. There were many types of cookies ready to be purchased. One type of cookie caught my attention...the Reese's peanut butter cup peanut butter cookie. There were only two left in the display case and I opted to purchase one along with a large cup of bite size chocolate chip cookies. The employee who helped me was very friendly. My transaction was done within a few minutes. The cookie shop accepts cash and credit cards as payments. If I am ever in town and craving for some cookies I know just where to go. It helps that the shop is within walking distance to my personal bank. 66/200 read more

This place is right by my office and in the afternoon is just too tempting with the cookie smell wafting out the door and sometimes you only had a healthy salad for lunch so by 2pm you're starving and you know that Cookie Corner is downstairs and you'll just need to order one cookie and you'll be satisfied. But when you come out of there suddenly you notice you have a bag with a dozen cookies in it so maybe it's not a good thing they are so near your office. Haven't decided yet. So delicious. I try not to come back but I do, again and again. read more

Went to get lunch today and past by the store. The smell of freshly baked cookies is irresistible. They were training a new hire but she did a great job. Though you could see that she was stressed out, especially since the credit card reader was taking a very long time. She apologized for being slow. Which I told her it's not her but the machine. I could see the manager getting flustered but it wasn't the girls fault. But they did a marvelous job in smiling and helping us decide on what cookie to buy. read more

Yum when you are in the need for a cookie or even a cookie and a drink as they have the 2 cookie and drink special for $2.99. I break down too often, I am weak for that delicious cookie! as I write this I want a COOKIE!!!! I feel like I'm the cookie monster, YUM YUM COOKIE!! awww.. cya all later going to get a cookie. read more

This location is so convenient for people who work in/near Bishop Square. I've been here a few times to pick up last minute local treats for my mainland friends and family. The item I always buy is the fruit bars. Those things are buttery and delicious. If you haven't had one before, you really need to try one. They offer the fruit bars in lemon, lime, or lilikoi (passion fruit) and they come in a gift bag or gift box. I usually go with the gift box since it has better presentation. I used to come for an afternoon snack but after awhile, I stopped because a single cookie can cost up to $2.50 (pricey stuff) and it's really unhealthy. I kind of already sit in a chair staring at a computer monitor all day so munching on those cookies will make me gain extra weight. read more

Cookies are expensive and very underwhelming. Tried the chocolate chip and the white chip-mac cookies. Subway makes better cookies than these. read more

If you celebrate Christmas all year long, then you must know the Melting Moments cookies at The Cookie Corner. These powdery white round cookies look like Christmas and taste like a holiday party in your mouth, sweetly melting on your tongue and leaving behind white mustache lips. Unlike the other cookies in the case and there are many (Chocolate Chip Macadamia, M&Ms, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin, Rice Krispie, Half-Dipped Shortbread, Snickerdoodles ...) , Melting Moments are not available for individual munching but must be purchased in the signature red cup. The small cup holds 9 pieces for about $5, while the large cup holds 15 pieces for $7.95. The Cookie Corners' Bishop Square store offers a convenient location if you work in downtown and need to quell a cookie hunger, buy a last-minute gift, or are sending a package to the mainland (hey, Lori W., this is where I usually pick up your Lemon Bars!). In addition to the fresh-made cookies, there are packaged mini-cookies, biscotti, lime and guava bars, and cold drinks. If Long's is a part of your day, Cookie Corner is a part of mine! read more

Cookie Corner reviews mystify me. How can a place that smells so incredible be so unremarkable? The !!FRESH-COOKIES!! scent they pump out onto the sidewalk to lure you into the shop is incredible. In the wrong hands, that could be a powerful psychological weapon. But the cookies themselves? They don't taste half as good as the scent that lures you in. The chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies I've tried were completely underwhelming. Ultimately, I suppose dashed expectations are good for my waistline... read more

Walking home from work through Bishop St - sometimes the wonderful smells just get me of home cooking. Who can resist the smell of fresh chocolate chip cookies?!?!?!?!?!!? After hours I can see that they are slow- as they are closing up shop instead of the lunch and breakfast rushes when they are ready to handle the crowds. But still friendly service. Sometimes you just need the indulgence or the sugar to get through a bad day. One thing more I got to say- If I was having to send gifts to relatives that have visited Hawaii already and know the basic things like Mac Nuts and Lihimoi Powder then I would get some of the more exotic cookies like the Lilikio Cookies or send them to them then. The flavor is so overwhelmingly good and different from my normal palate that I know others would like them as a 1 time treat. read more
