Tons of options for your office, kitchen, bedroom, garage, storage needs. Awesome customer service. Karen is SPECTACULAR! Today's visit was my first and she was uber informative by giving me a rundown of the store's layout as well as an overview of the Rewards Program. I must admit - I encountered at least 4 other employees and they were all pleasant and accommodating. I'll be visiting again - the sorry has tons of options and a very generous rewards program.

New elfa shelves space

Purchased Elfa Shelves at a Container Store in Houston, TX about 18 years ago and installed them in every bedroom in my house. Absolutely loved my closets and it was so easy to install. It has now been 10 years since I moved and missed having these wonderful closets in my new home. I finally installed it and once again feel like it was the best investment! I had no room for my clothes and my closet was a mess. Not anymore! I highly recommend Elfa Shelves.

Comfortable enough to walk around for as long as I like and acknowledge enough to know if I need help the people here actually want to help me. People. It's a container store. It has containers. The best part is this Store is as organized as the items they carry. Found all sorts of little kitchen things that I have been meaning to replace or add two. My friend picked up the food storage containers she had been wanting to see in person before purchasing. The closet this play area had me dreaming of redoing my entire closet. The stand out here though is the employees. I was approached once while I was shopping and a very open in friendly manner. Greeted at the front door, and what sounded like a genuine hello and welcome. And when I was going to make my purchase and leave, the cashier was excited about my items, chatted to me about their rewards program in a natural manner, and wished us a good day. The people skills on these employees would have be choosing to endeavor buy another utensil kitchen item or organization item anywhere else. I do not live in this state, but if I did I would go out of my way to visit the store for those needs.

Karen absolutely was a delight. I had a very specific project I was working on and she went above and beyond to help me find what I needed and what would work. Love it when someone loves what they do!

Our Container Store Elsa system installation

Our long closet shelf came down twice. We were going to get a quote from California Closets to install one of their particle board systems but decided to get a quote from the Container Store for one of their Elsa wire systems. The rest of the closet is wire racks. Boy, are we glad we did it! On sale we spent only about $700 for the parts, $80 for delivery and about $300 for installation. Delivery and installation were third party. We worked with one of the designers at the Container Store for about 20 minutes and did a simple design of two hanging racks on left, two on right and shelves in the middle. We are very happy with the result. Cross your fingers that it stays up. We emphasized with the installer to drill into studs and she assured us that she did so. We saved some money because my husband patched the holes and painted where the shelf came down. We never got the estimate from California Closets but we heard from others that it is very expensive and could have been 2-3x as much. Plus it wouldn't match the rest of our closet. I think California Closet is great if you want that look but we saved a lot of money by going with the Container Store. I noticed one review by a Black customer who was treated poorly. I acknowledge that this happened. Our experience was good as two gay males, one white, one Asian. We never felt disrespected at any part of the process. Now maybe that was because I was white. I don't know.

Lovely store with a variety of your home needs. The store was organized and clean and I would have preferred more options for sizes but then again, the store can only hold so many items. You can find all things storage here from Tupperware, kitchen organization, stationary supply tools, gift wrap, closet nick knacks, travel gear etc. I was able to snag some racks for my kitchen cabinets and made them work! Super pleased with just being able to find a solution for clutter problems. I loved going here instead of guessing, measuring and taking a chance on things ordered from Amazon. There's nothing like going in, and feeling an item in real time, just wished this place were as large as an IKEA, that would be nice!

Christmas

Visited this store today - very impressed with the assortment of unusual and cool gift ideas, the array of unique items and the many options for household organization. The Christmas wraps and decor was very surprising and unexpected. Why only two stars? Well, I overheard not one, but two, customers talking to Container Store employees about having to wait significantly long to get their items. In itself, I guess this isn't a big deal - what bothered me was that as I roamed the store, I heard three employees complaining about the customers - especially about one particular lady. It was extremely unprofessional to hear employees griping about a customer, and they did so while walking right by me. The store is very interesting but the employee behavior soured me on the store. Other reason for two stars - I was going to buy something, it was an item I did need, but as I got close to checkout, I saw that there were only two cashiers and two very long lines. Lines were glacially slow. I put the item back and left. Personally, I would not visit this store again. Way overpriced items, some rude employees (that I witnessed), and not the best checkout line management.

Was in the Raleigh area for a birthday party and was pressed! To check out this store. Lol it's a very clean store. Literally containers. Containers. All my organizers out there. Please come in here with tunnel vision. I really had to refocus myself because I didn't have long to get what I needed. But I got my containers which finding was a very easy process. The store is well marked so you know where to go. There was also workers on the floor to help. They seemed happy to help. I hate asking I know folks be trying to stock but yes! I love this store. They Have containers of every size and shape for all your organizing needs. They have organization for almost every room in your home as well which was really nice. I looked at some of the options for kitchen organization (you'll be gone soon junk drawer! ) so if you are near a container store it is definitely worth the stop.

Kids storage! My son loves this, and uses it more like a toy.

I had a fantastic experience at Hunt & Gather. My friends and I decided, on a whim, to go check out…read morean antique store. We stumbled upon Hunt & Gather on Yelp and went. This store is pretty big inside; you would never know it by looking at it from outside. It is filled with treasures both big and small. Like any antique store (or like most), it is a bit crowded with items. Personally, I like that. You really are 'hunting' for treasures here. Yesterday I found this beautiful trinket on the floor of a booth...I would have never found it had I been in a rush. I highly recommend you take your time here. Google reviewers seem more critical of Hunt & Gather and its staff...but personally I had a very different experience. On Google, people wrote that staff was following them, being rude, and that this place was overpriced. Now...your mileage may vary...but I found the staff to be extremely kind. They would check in on me a couple times just to see if I needed help, but largely let me do my own hunting in peace. I think some items are certainly pricey and I can't quite understand why, but by and large I found the prices to be competitive. For example, you can get an entire Noritake china set (with 12 settings!) for $450. Anywhere else this could go easily for $700+. You can buy some dupes at HomeGoods for sure, but HomeGoods aint that cheap -- and I'd argue some of the pieces here are priced even more competitively than HomeGoods. I bought 3 chinoiserie vases/jars yesterday (at ~$30 a pop) and am soooo enamored by them. All in all, I'd recommend you swing by especially if you're furnishing, or refurnishing, your home. There are some really nice things here....and I think I may come by every now and then just to see what's in stock!

Horrible experience. sofa arrived damaged and reordered. Still waiting. Every communication…read moreregarding order has been initiated by me. Initial order placed 11/24; order arrives, damaged, 5/25. Still waiting. No consideration given for inconvenience. I am pursuing full refund.

I have had an absolutely horrific experience with Arhaus - I should have listened to the online…read morereview I had read. To preface this story, two things: 1. I've never in my life left a negative online review - I'm generally an understanding person recognizing that oftentimess things are out of a person's (or companyy's) control, but at this point I don't know what else to do bu leave a review. 2. I've told this story to personal friends, and the general consensus is "this is such a wild story of incompetence, nobody online is even going to believe it is true" - I wish it weren't true. My life would be a lot easier, all I want is a couch. With that said, I'll try to keep it as fact-based as possible and leave out my emotions, which at this point are running wild given the situation. 1. After much deliberation, I ordered a couch in the August timeframe with expected delivery in December 2. Mid-december I called to ask timeframe for delivery. They assured me it was on time, and only a few days left until it was received in the warehouse in which time I could schedule delivery. 3. I responded with "I'm going out of town soon and would really like to have it delivered bore I leave, what should I do to speed up the process?" a. Their response was that if I padi the rest of the deposit, that would remove a step and ensure I got it as quickly as possible. So I paid the remainder of the deposit 4. A couple days later I asked for an update, but it was unfortunately delayed so I wouldn't be able to receive it until I got back into town after Christmas 5. After talking to them again after Christmas, they let me know that the couch wasn't built because the fabric wasn't available - not sure why you tell me it is going to be ready in three days when isn't even built 6. They let me know because of the fabric delay, my couch won't be ready until February. Fine, I'll wait until February - luckily I didn't get rid of my existing couch 7. In February I text asking when I should expect delivery. Apparently the couch is a few days away. I call in a few days, and they say it's a few days away. Call again, same thing. Eventually I frustrated and ask if they can please figure out what is going on with my couch. 8. Come to find out, they still don't have the fabric and the couch isn't even built. At this point I'm pretty frustrated. I ask for a discount and what my option are. The store manager says she can give me a 10% discount but will talk to the regional manager if they can do more. They also mention they can give me a "loaner" couch given it has been almost six months. 9. They also recommend I maybe choose a different fabric and say I can come into the store 40 minutes away to pick one. I ask if they know which fabrics they have available so I won't have a delay. They say they don't' know and they would have to ask about any fabrics I'm interested in after I come in. Why would I go pick out fabric if they don't know which are available? a. They mention that if I keep the same fabric it will be May until they have it. I ask how they know it will be available in May, and they say something along the lines of "admittedly, we don't" b. At this point I ask to talk to the regional manager, but they never follow through - nor did they follow through on getting more than a 10% discount. I get a "well the store manager is more generous and 10% is likely the best you'll get" 10. So at this point I say "well you don't know if any other fabric is available or when mine will be available, I'll take the loaner couch and wait". The couch is supposed to be just like the one I am ordering - a two-cushioned sofa and a chaise 11. Two to three week later they send the loaner couch. They have 5-6 total people...movers, store people, idk what else. They put it together and come grab me to ask if it was positioned how I wanted. I walk into the room and it is just a long couch that barely fits in the room. I laugh and say "this isn't my couch" and they say "yeah, we kinda figured" (given how obnoxious it looks in the room) 12. They are very apologetic and assure me they will get it fixed quickly. A few weeks later they come with the new replacement loaner couch. As it turns out, they sent the same couch because the "sofa" was mislabeled as a "chaise" 13. At this point I'm extremely frustrated, and the very nice delivery people are both apologetic but also understanding of how hysterical this whole situation is. 14. I spoke to the logistics person and the store manager and everyone just gives me the "IDK who inputted this, but it is wrong". I don't care - I just want a fu**in couch that fits in my house. 15. They call me later that day to confirm they sent a sofa and not a chaise...at this point I don't know what to say. Yes, you sent me a sofa and not a chaise...we wouldn't be talking if you sent the right thing. 16. They haven't been responsive. I don't know what to do...
